At WrestleMania 35, Becky Lynch became the first superstar in WWE to pin Ronda Rousey. By doing so, Becky became a dual champion. Becky Lynch then put both the RAW and SmackDown Women's Championships on the line in 2 different matches at Money in the Bank last month.

She managed to retain the RAW Women's title against Lacey Evans at the event, but Becky lost the SmackDown Women's Championship against Charlotte Flair due to outside interference from Lacey Evans.

Since then Becky Lynch has been involved in a heated feud with Lacey Evans. Currently, Becky Lynch is set to defend her RAW Women's Championship against Lacey Evans at the upcoming Stomping Grounds PPV. It is expected to be the duo's last match as the feud seems to have gotten stale.

With that in mind, let's take a look at WWE superstars who have the best chance to dethrone Becky Lynch.

#3 Lacey Evans

Lacey Evans is going to challenge for the RAW Women's Championship for the second PPV in a row following an unsuccessful attempt at Money in the Bank. She is clearly an underdog going into the match. But WWE's recent strong booking of Lacey Evans suggests that they may have big plans for her on the main roster. So expect a strong showing from Evans at the event.

Becky Lynch is one and the only superstar in WWE to have pinned Ronda Rousey, so WWE might not book her to lose cleanly against a newly arrived superstar like Lacey Evans. But if WWE follows decides to shock the WWE Universe, then Lacey Evans might emerge victorious at the Stomping Grounds PPV.

#2 Sasha Banks

Sasha Banks is one of the best women's wrestlers on the planet today. Still, she has not been booked properly on the main roster. Excluding her feud with Charlotte Flair in 2016, she was never involved in a proper championship feud on either main roster brands. She had a one-off match with Ronda Rousey for the Raw Women's Championship earlier this year at Royal Rumble PPV.

After that, she went on to win the inaugural Women's Tag Team Championship along with Bayley. Their brief title reign came to an end at WrestleMania 35 where the lost to the Iconics. Sasha Banks has been absent on WWE programming since then.

Considering the in-ring prowess and star power of Sasha Banks, WWE might book her in a feud with Becky Lynch in the upcoming months. It will certainly rejuvenate the singles career of Sasha Banks.

Also, Becky's popularity has seemingly been waning due to her lackluster feud with Lacey Evans. So a blockbuster feud with Sasha Banks would be a perfect opportunity for her to regain the lost momentum.

Sasha Banks is already a 4-time Raw Women's Champion so she could be an ideal option in case WWE decides to take the title off Becky Lynch in the upcoming months.

#1 Ronda Rousey

This much-anticipated singles contest was supposed to take place at WWE Survivor Series but was canceled as Becky Lynch sustained an injury leading up to the event. Becky Lynch and Ronda Rousey eventually faced each other in the main event of WrestleMania 35, which also featured Charlotte Flair.

In the latest WWE NEWS, Becky Lynch won the winner takes all triple threat match and became the dual champion after the culmination of first ever women’s main event at WrestleMania. Becky Lynch also handed Ronda Rousey her first-ever pinfall loss in WWE. By booking Becky Lynch to pin Ronda Rousey for the victory, WWE left the doors open for a future singles encounter between the fierce rivals.

Ronda Rousey is supposedly taking time off after sustaining an injury at WrestleMania 35. So there is a cloud of uncertainty around the WWE return of Ronda Rousey. But given WWE’s track record with former UFC stars in the recent years, we cannot completely rule out a comeback from Rousey.

The WWE Universe still eagerly wants to see a single’s bout between Rousey and Lynch. Their Twitter altercations played a significant role in promoting their rivalry. Vince McMahon will in all likelihood book a singles match between the duo when Ronda Rousey eventually returns to WWE. If this matchup comes into fruition then Ronda Rousey will be considered a favorite to win the clash and Championship.
