After running riot on RAW, Triple H, the godfather of NXT, invited the main roster Superstars on the final NXT episode before Survivor Series and both brands invaded this week. What ensued was one of NXT's best episodes since moving to the USA Network. A number of good matches took place on the show and NXT hyped the upcoming War Games and Survivor Series as well.

RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch was the first main roster Superstar to show up on NXT, facing Rhea Ripley in an astounding bout. Ricochet was another invading RAW Superstar and he squared off against Matt Riddle. After Kay Lee Ray defeated Dakota Kai, a huge brawl broke out between the women of all three brands. Winning the Ladder Match against Dominik Dijakovic, Adam Cole earned an advantage for The Undisputed Era at War Games. Following the Ladder Match, more RAW and SmackDown Superstars appeared on NXT, leading to a massive brawl to close the show.

There is no doubt that NXT delivered an incredible episode yet again. Let's talk about three surprises from NXT this week.

The main event took place in the form of a Ladder Match, as Adam Cole faced Dominic Dijakovic. Delivering a mind-boggling bout, the reigning NXT Champion earned an advantage for his team at NXT War Games this weekend. Cole's celebration was cut short when RAW and SmackDown Superstars made their presence felt, surprising everyone with one of the best brawls in recent years.

It led to carnage between three brands, giving a preview of Survivor Series on Sunday. Drew McIntyre appeared in the ring and delivered a Claymore Kick to Dijakovic, but the former received a devastating powerbomb from Keith Lee. The two heavyweights, Keith Lee and Ivar, attempted suicide dives, taking down everyone outside the ring, and the fans in attendance at Full Sail University were awestruck.

Nevertheless, Seth Rollins' appearance was the biggest surprise of the segment, as the leader of Team RAW delivered a vicious superkick to Adam Cole. While everyone was down and Rollins was getting ready to stomp Cole, 'The Beastslayer' was confronted by Tomasso Ciampa. The two men put their hands on each other to close the show, leading to the possibility of another big brawl on the final SmackDown before Survivor Series.

#2 A dream match between Rhea Ripley and Becky Lynch

The future and the present collided on NXT this week when RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch wrestled Rhea Ripley in a singles match. Although the match didn't have a fair ending, owing to interference from the MMA Horsewomen, it was certainly one of the biggest surprises of the show this week.

Becky Lynch was the first to open the show, returning to NXT after a gap of four years. 'The Man' didn't take long to take shots at her Survivor Series opponents, Bayley and Shayna Baszler. While Lynch was expecting to see Baszler, she was instead confronted by Rhea Ripley, whose team will take on Baszler's team at NXT War Games.

NXT had a spectacular opening match, as Ripley and Lynch showed their dexterity in the ring, trying to build momentum before their matches at War Games and Survivor Series respectively. However, the match ended in a no-contest when Shayna Baszler, Jessamyn Duke, and Marina Shafir interfered, taking out both Ripley and Lynch. Ripley and Lynch fought back and stood tall to end the segment.

#1 Matt Riddle pinned Ricochet

Matt Riddle has a colossal battle ahead of him at NXT War Games and needed to build momentum before the show. He did so in style on this week's edition of NXT. Originally, Riddle was scheduled to face Kona Reeves, but the latter was abruptly taken down by RAW Superstar Ricochet. The former NXT North American Champion returned to the Black and Yellow brand for the first time since leaving earlier this year. Having replaced Reeves, Ricochet faced Riddle in a singles match, which was certainly one of the best of the night.

Riddle and Ricochet never locked horns in a singles match before, even though they were together on NXT for a long time. A myriad of fans wanted to see the battle, and the two didn't disappoint, delivering a stupendous match with jaw-dropping maneuvers from both Superstars. It was a fast-paced bout, as Ricochet's swiftness met Riddle's strength. SmackDown's Shinsuke Nakamura and Cesaro showed up in the middle of the match, allowing Riddle to pin Ricochet.

However, it led to chaos after the bout, as Nakamura was ambushed by his Survivor Series opponent Rodrick Strong. Moreover, Finn Balor went after Riddle, giving a glimpse of their encounter at NXT War Games on Saturday.
