This week, WWE will present a very special season premiere of RAW which will emanate from the Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix, Arizona.

This show will mark the final episode of RAW before SmackDown Live moves to the FOX Network, beginning a brand new era as part of the Red Brand. Given the magnitude of the episode, a whole lot of exciting matches have been lined up for the premiere show.

Seth Rollins will defend his Universal Championship against Rey Mysterio, in what will be a high-stakes bout with huge implications on RAW's future. Sasha Banks will square off against one-half of the Women's Tag Team Champions, Alexa Bliss.

Cedric Alexander will get another shot at AJ Styles' United States Championship while the RAW Tag Team Championships will be on the line when the champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode defend their titles against Heavy Machinery.

In yet another exciting segment, Brock Lesnar will appear on RAW, only a few days before his highly-anticipated WWE Championship clash against Kofi Kingston on SmackDown's debut episode on FOX. Additionally, Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair are slated to appear on a special edition of Miz TV.

With a whole lot of high-voltage clashes coming up, here are four things that can happen on the season premiere of Monday Night RAW.

#3 Heavy Machinery win the RAW Tag Team Championships

Will they be the next RAW Tag Team Champions?

The RAW Tag Team Champions Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode will defend their titles for the first time against the upbeat Heavy Machinery. Ziggler and Roode have shown undeniable chemistry as a tag-team, but could face a stiff challenge against the challengers.

Otis and Tucker have had numerous shots at the SmackDown Tag Team Championships but have failed to land the final punch, although they have put up good fights in the past. The duo have been earning support from the WWE Universe and have also steadily gained momentum.

Despite Roode and Ziggler heading into the match as favorites, one could make a mistake to bet against Heavy Machinery, as they could be backed to finally land a well-earned title.

#2 Cedric Alexander stuns AJ Styles to win the United States Championship

At Clash of Champions, AJ Styles retained the United States Championship against Cedric Alexander as the match came to a quick end with Styles claiming the pinfall. Post that fight, Alexander and Styles have run into each other quite a few times over the last few weeks and Styles does seem to have the upper-hand over the fan-favorite.

Alexander has been featured prominently in RAW's mid-card scene for the last few months and has picked up hard-fought victories over the likes of Sami Zayn, Cesaro and Drew McIntyre. The former Cruiserweight Champion had an impressive outing in the King of the Ring tournament, where he defeated Zayn in the first round and put up a tough fight against Corbin.

It was The O.C. alliance that viciously assaulted Alexander before his match against Corbin that only went on to enhance the storyline between Styles and Alexander. Hence, with Styles having the upper hand till now, Alexander could finally be given a massive push with a title to his name.

#1 Kofi Kingston confronts Brock Lesnar and forces him to retreat

On SmackDown's Live debut on FOX, Kofi Kingston will defend his WWE Championship against Brock Lesnar. Lesnar has already defeated Kofi in the past as he laid the WWE Champion out in the middle of the ring a few weeks ago. Hence, there's no love lost between these two and they could could be involved in a brawl in this episode of RAW.

Last week, Kofi made it crystal clear that he wasn't going to back down from a fight and that he was going to take the fight to Lesnar. It seems as if Kofi is keen on getting his hands on Lesnar and he may not decide to wait till October 4.

Given that Lesnar is scheduled to appear on RAW's season premiere, it would make perfect sense for Kofi to confront and attack Lesnar. A perfect scenario would be for the WWE Champion to attack the Beast and force him to retreat, which could be a key factor to watch out for.
