Ronda Rousey, 'The Baddest Woman on the Planet', has enjoyed a very impressive maiden year in WWE.

Events that are chronicled in this brand new documentary eventually put Rousey's stamp as the face of WWE programming, especially during the period between WrestleMania's 34 and 35.

This documentary also focuses on her perspective on things during this period of time in retrospection. Here's a look at three things we learned from 'WWE 24: The Year of Ronda Rousey'.

#3 Ronda loved the transition from competitor to entertainer

We all know that Ronda Rousey became a household name during her years in the UFC. But, this documentary points out there eventually came a time where Ronda had to get her priorities straight by moving onto the next phase of her life.

That is when WWE was the next logical step for her. In fact, Ronda's mother actually encouraged her to enter the world of sports entertainment and there are various instances in the documentary which show us the very idea of her headlining shows made her giddy with joy.

Thus, she had to eventually completion the transition into being an entertainer, which appeared an enjoyable process for the 32-year-old. The documentary is filled with clips showing her gratitude for the opportunities she had received. Moreover, there are various other superstars and WWE personalities who helped her to achieve success within the industry.

In a way, it seems she was genuinely happy living out her dream as a professional wrestler - mirrored by some highs and lows which eventually culminated in a very successful first year for her with the company.

#2 She didn't think she initially deserved being centre of attention

One of the things that made WWE personnel accept Ronda Rousey as a genuine performer was the fact that 'The Baddest Woman on the Planet' was quite modest about her own potential in this business.

We all know she was primed to achieve big things eventually, though she herself was unsure whether or not she deserved to be the centre of attention in the Women's Division. However, it was heartwarming to see other wrestlers and staff make her realise just how much she actually deserved to be on that top spot in this industry.

Even though it lasted for roughly a year, Ronda took the wrestling world by storm at the time. It was her humility and desire to learn while respecting the sport which made her easily accepted by all of her WWE peers to begin with.

#1 What's next for Ronda Rousey?

Towards the end of the documentary, we realise that Rousey's main priority is now to start a family with her husband Travis Browne.

This suggests the "Year of Ronda Rousey" might just be the first and only chapter within her WWE career. However, both Travis and Triple H hint how there is always a next chapter in everyone's life and Ronda might not be done with the company after all.

Although it will be a while until we see her return to WWE TV in future, it's important to know the book on her wrestling career isn't closed yet and there is always a possibility that she stirs headlines with a potential return at some stage. In retrospect, Ronda had a magical year in WWE and people will perhaps look upon that specific period in time as the "Year of Ronda Rousey", because who knows what's next?
