3 things that could happen in WWE after the Clash of Champions

Will The Beast pay a surprise visit at Clash of Champions?

WWE Clash of Champions is just two days away. Scheduled for this Sunday, the event will emanate live from Spectrum Center in Charlotte, North Carolina.

With AJ Styles vs Cedric Alexander for the United States Championship being the newest entry, WWE has announced a total of eleven high profile matches for the event. However, the final of King of the Ring tournament which was earlier scheduled for September 15 has now been moved to Monday's RAW following Clash of Champions.

On another note, a few of the existing feuds are expected to conclude at the upcoming pay-per-view, thus, expect Creative to lay down the breadcrumbs for a few high profile storyline/feuds this Sunday at Clash of Champions.

To be honest, WWE rumor mill has already been buzzing with speculations regarding a few major feuds which could take shape after September 15. Furthermore, given SmackDown will be moving to Fox on October 4, expect some major changes to be on the cards in the near future.

Here are the 3 things which could happen in WWE after September 15.

#3 Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan

It is far from over between these two future Hall of Famers.
It is far from over between these two future Hall of Famers.

Roman Reigns is scheduled to face Rowan at Clash of Champions after the latter was revealed as the mystery attacker of 'The Big Dog'. Rowan did not only went on to maul the former powerhouse of The Shield but also attacked Daniel Bryan to shock the fans.

While what may seem like a potential end of the partnership between Bryan and Rowan given how things unfolded two weeks ago on the blue brand, WWE might have something else up its sleeve.

Yes, according to rumors, despite how things have been unfolding lately, Roman Reigns vs Daniel Bryan is speculated to be the plan for the near future.

Thus, WWE could have Bryan show up at Clash of Champions to beat the living daylight out of The Big Dog. He could then go on to reveal that he and Rowan were always on the same page and everything leading to this was nothing but a part of his plan.

This would not only that element of surprise to the pay-per-view but would also lay down the breadcrumbs for a high voltage feud for the following weeks.

#2 Brock Lesnar is pushed in the WWE Title picture

It seems totally on the cards.
It seems totally on the cards.

In case you did not know, SmackDown will be moving to Fox on October 4, 2019. Thus, expect a few major changes on the blue brand after September 15. One such major development could be Brock Lesnar getting pushed in the WWE Title picture.

Yes, as history has shown us on numerous occasions that Vince McMahon always resorts to part-timers when it comes to viewership and ratings, Brock Lesnar returning to get a huge main event push on the blue brand could be on the cards after the Clash of Champions.

Lesnar has been off WWE TV ever since his loss at SummerSlam 2019. While The Beast is scheduled to feature at October 4th edition of SmackDown, Creative could have him feature on September 15 at Clash of Champions to attack the WWE Champion (read Randy Orton, it has got to be).

Personally, I would love to see him clash with The Viper, Randy Orton for the WWE Championship. Also, given how things came to an abrupt ending during their last feud in 2016, it would make complete sense to reignite this rivalry.

#1 The Fiend receives a huge main event push

The Fiend could pay a surprise visit at the Clash of Champions.
The Fiend could pay a surprise visit at the Clash of Champions.

In case you did not know, rumor has it that The Fiend will face the Universal Champion at Hell in a Cell 2019. As a matter of fact, The Eater of Worlds has been addressing the same on the last few episodes of Monday Night RAW. Thus, a huge main event push for The Fiend is all but guaranteed after Clash of Champions.

Given how things have been unfolding lately it seems Wyatt could be involved in a three-way feud against Seth Rollins and Braun Strowman.

Seth Rollins will defend his Universal Championship against Braun Strowman at Clash of Champions. However, the duo will be in for a double-time as they are scheduled to defend their Raw Tag Team Titles against Robert Roode and Dolph Ziggler as well.

To be honest, there is a huge probability that Creative could most likely have their differences and egos cost them the Tag Team Titles.

Who knows, a potential heel turn for either of these two men could also be on the cards for September 15.

Well, come what may, chances of WWE putting the existing feud (Rollins vs Strowman) to bed this early is very minimal. And with Wyatt being all but guaranteed for a push in the title picture after Clash of Champions, a three-way feud for the Universal Championship between these aforementioned names does not seem too far.
