3 Things WWE could be planning on SmackDown this week (November 15th, 2019)

Will we see a payback?
Will we see a payback?

From a special appearance by Tyson Fury to the crowning of new Tag Team Champions, SmackDown had it all in Manchester last week. When the Blue Brand will take place at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, expectations will be high, considering it will be the second to last episode before Survivor Series.

Several surprises took place on the Blue Brand in the past week. Roman Reigns suffered a loss against Baron Corbin, as Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode interfered in the match. Tyson Fury and Braun Strowman, who were opponents at Crown Jewel, teamed up to destroy The B-Team. Furthermore, The Fiend revealed his next victim, attacking Daniel Bryan. The New Day became seven-time Tag Team Champions, securing a spot at Survivor Series. NXT continued their invasion, as Shayna Baszler ambushed Bayley once again.

Let's talk about three things we could see on SmackDown this week.

#3 Becky Lynch assaults Bayley

The Triple Threat Match between Bayley, Becky Lynch, and Shayna Baszler has created a buzz, owing much of it to an intense match build-up. The three women's champions will collide to prove to the wrestling world just who WWE's alpha-female is. NXT Women's Champion Shayna Baszler attacked Bayley twice in the past two weeks, making a bold statement.

Becky Lynch, on the other hand, was confronted by Baszler, but Bayley was the one who put her hands on 'The Man' on RAW this week. Following the vicious assault, Lynch will be aiming to return the favor to the SmackDown Women's Champion on the Blue Brand this week.

Given Bayley already ambushed Baszler on NXT this week, the two are unlikely to have a face-off on SmackDown this week. Lynch could hype the match, if she invades SmackDown, decimating Bayley in order to send a strong message to Baszler.

#2 The New Day beat The Revival

A rematch is set to happen on this week's edition of Friday Night SmackDown, as The Revival will get a title shot rematch against The New Day, who won the twin titles last week. The Revival will get a golden opportunity to become four-time Tag Team Champions.

Since three brands are participating at Survivor Series this year, all champions from RAW, SmackDown, and NXT are competing with each other, and it is no different for the Tag Team Divisions. The Viking Raiders and The Undisputed Era, the RAW and NXT Tag Team Champions, were scheduled to face The Revival earlier, but The New Day has since taken the spot by winning the Blue Brand Tag Team Titles last week.

The New Day are one of WWE's most well respected tag teams and are certainly a great addition to represent the Blue Brand at Survivor Series. With that in mind, The Revival are not likely to win back the belts after losing them only one week ago. Their previous bout was one of the best matches of the night and another remarkable match should be expected from the two teams when they meet each other again in a rematch on Friday night.

#1 Daniel Bryan challenges The Fiend for the Universal Championship at Survivor Series

While the WWE Championship match between Brock Lesnar and Rey Mysterio is set for Survivor Series, it looks like the Universal Champion The Fiend has also found his next challenger for the pay-per-view. Last week, a major hint was dropped, as The Fiend abruptly attacked Daniel Bryan in the backstage area, taking him down with a vicious Mandible Claw.

Bryan has turned babyface, however, Sami Zayn, Shinsuke Nakamura's mouthpiece, was trying to convince Bryan to join them as part of a faction when The Fiend decided to target Bryan as his next opponent.

Bryan could show up on the Blue Brand to challenge The Fiend for the Universal Championship at Survivor Series. If Bryan calls out the Universal Champion, Bray Wyatt could accept the challenge, confirming the mega clash in an episode of Firefly Fun House.

Having faced Seth Rollins in two brilliant matches, The Fiend could deliver another stupendous match against Bryan, who is considered one of the best wrestlers in WWE.
