3 things WWE got right at Super ShowDown 2019, and 2 things they got wrong

WWE Super ShowDown 2019 is in the history books and the show was a huge affair.

The third pay per view in the company's decade-long deal with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the WWE wanted to give a huge show for the Saudi live crowd, as well as the millions watching around the world. Delivering on that promise, the show featured three huge title matches, as well as a gigantic 50-man Battle Royal which was won by an unlikely victor.

In addition, the show saw the first ever match between The Undertaker and Goldberg, as both men tried to claim their superiority over the other.

Here are three things WWE got right at Super ShowDown 2019, as well as two things that could have been a whole lot better.

#3 Got it right: Kofi Vs. Dolph booked to a tee

Ziggler brought his A-Game to Jeddah, but ultimately came up short against the WWE Champion
Ziggler brought his A-Game to Jeddah, but ultimately came up short against the WWE Champion

Ten years ago, no-one would've dreamed that Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler would battle it out at a WrestleMania-esque WWE Pay per view, for the WWE Championship. And yet in 2019, just that has happened, and the match, and feud were booked to a tee.

Throughout the contest, Ziggler continued to play mind games with Kingston, and it seemed at times that the Showoff was going to become the 52nd WWE champion. Shrieking to everyone that "it should've been me!" Ziggler's character work was in full effect in Jeddah, though a distraction by Xavier Woods cost the Showoff everything.

A perfect end to this match, I expect great things when Kingston puts his title on the line once more against the ZigZag man, this time in a Steel Cage at WWE Stomping Grounds.

#2 Got it wrong: Lars Sullivan

Sullivan looked weak in winning the match, but got his heat back later
Sullivan looked weak in winning the match, but got his heat back later

In the latest WWE NEWS, Lars Sullivan has made an impact since coming to the WWE main roster, mostly at the expense of the Lucha House Party. Demolishing the trio, Sullivan has been a true tour-de-force, and it seemed that tonight was going to be the biggest win of his career.

And though Sullivan did cinch the W, it was via DQ, as the team of Kalisto, Lince Dorado and Gran Metalik used their combined numbers to attack the Freak, neutralising the colossal Superstar's size. What made this even more baffling was that Sullivan would get his heat back post-match, dismantling the group on the entrance ramp.

Though it's good for Sullivan to get a win in his very first match on the main roster, the whole match left a bad taste in the mouth of many fans.

#2 Got it right: Undertaker. Goldberg. First time ever.

The Deadman emerged victorious in this huge match between two icons

I know, I know, Goldberg and The Undertaker are both very VERY old.

But putting that aside, it's clear that even in 2019, the two remain as some of the biggest stars in all of wrestling history. Meeting in their first encounter ever, the pair didn't stray too far from their limitations, but what they did in the ring was certainly impressive.

Even blood couldn't dampen the natural excitement of this huge match, as the two legendary Superstars gave their all to entertain the fans, both those in the Stadium and those watching around the world.

Even at a combined age of over 100, the Demon of Death Valley and Goldberg proved that they could tell an incredible story, and may have taught a few lessons to the Superstars of today.

#1 Got it wrong: Mansoor makes history in Jeddah

Mansoor got a huge win in his home nation
Mansoor got a huge win in his home nation

I'll be the first to admit, I didn't know much about Mansoor before his huge win at WWE Super ShowDown.

As one of 50 Superstars in the colossal Battle Royal, the Saudi Arabian star last eliminated Elias to win the historic match, and I want to say, this is a great, emotional night for Mansoor. But, my question is, what happens next?

As talented as Mansoor is, fans will be quick to speculate that the Saudi Arabian Superstar only won the tonight's historic match solely because he is from Saudi Arabia. This is something that will stick in the minds of WWE Universe as Mansoor will be known as the "man who won the 50-man Battle Royal... but only really because he was born there".

A big win for Mansoor tonight, but may lead to problems down the line.

#1 Got it right: Brock Lesnar didn't cash-in

Lesnar neutralised the Beast in the Bank with a steel chair
Lesnar neutralised the Beast in the Bank with a steel chair

Brock Lesnar is a divisive figure in wrestling.

To some, he's a must-see player, bringing a sense of intensity to everything he touches. To others, he is a lazy, unmotivated Superstar who has been handed far too many title opportunities, including the Money in the Bank contract.

After not following through with his promise to cash-in on Monday, the Beast Incarnate similarly didn't cash-in tonight, mostly because he was assaulted before he got the chance by Universal Champion Seth Rollins.

Though many fans expected Lesnar to instead cash-in on WWE Champion Kofi Kingston, the Ghanian Superstar was able to win, and didn't have a showdown with Lesnar.

Will Brock cash-in eventually? Yes, but for now, Rollins and Kingston, two of WWE's most popular babyfaces in recent history, get to keep the fans happy.
