3 Things WWE hinted at on the RAW before Crown Jewel (October 28th, 2019)

With some fantastic matches and segments, the last RAW before Crown Jewel was an extraordinary show. Similar to last week, several underutilized Superstars received TV time, and were able to continue their momentum.

Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair, whose teams will clash at Crown Jewel, were present on the Red brand, as their team members, Ricochet and Drew McIntyre, faced each other before getting interrupted by none other than Randy Orton. Paige returned after a long hiatus, but was humiliated by Asuka, who spit green mist onto her face. Asuka's tag team partner, Kairi Sane, lost to Becky Lynch in a non-title bout.

The Falls Count Anywhere Match between Seth Rollins and Erick Rowan was one of the best of the night, but the Universal Champion stood victorious before his Crown Jewel clash against The Fiend. Charlotte Flair found a new partner in Natalya, beating The IIconics in a tag team match on RAW. Despite losing to AJ Styles, Humberto Carrillo showed his talent, delivering a spectacular performance against the reigning United States Champion.

It was a stellar show, but WWE dropped some serious hints along the way that many fans may have missed. Here we discuss three things WWE hinted at on RAW this week.

#3 Charlotte Flair will target the Women's Tag Team Titles soon

Charlotte Flair recently swapped brands, moving back to the Red brand after a two year gap. 'The Queen' was picked in the very first round, and the ten-time Women's Champion was certainly one of the most notable Superstars to switch brands in the draft. It will be interesting to see who starts a new feud with 'The Queen,' but WWE certainly dropped a hint on the Red brand this week.

Charlotte, who was a heel before leaving SmackDown, teamed up with the babyface Natalya this week, leading to the possibility of a face turn. The team of Charlotte and Natalya faced the former Women's Tag Team Champions The IIconics. Charlotte gelled well with 'The Queen of Harts,' and helped her team pick up an impressive victory.

Charlotte has won everything in the Women's Division, except for the Women's Tag Team Titles. 'The Queen' could become a Grand Slam Champion, if she wins the Women's Tag Team Titles, a feat that has already been accomplished by Bayley and Alexa Bliss. The team of Natalya and Charlotte could also help to elevate the stature of the Women's Tag Team Division.

#2 Either Kairi Sane or Asuka will challenge for the RAW Women's Championship

After the departure of Sasha Banks, Becky Lynch is left without an opponent on RAW. The RAW Women's Division added a number of new names in the recent draft, but who could potentially pose as a legitimate threat to 'The Man?'. Given the fact that Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair had a lengthy feud, it would not be a wise decision to have another rivalry between the two women. Plus WWE may have other plans for Flair in the Women's Tag Team Division (see previous slide).

WWE already announced a bout between Kairi Sane and Becky Lynch on RAW, and the two Superstars offered an awe-inspiring match. Kairi Sane is an incredible singles performer, who delivered a number of astounding singles matches on NXT while holding the NXT Women's Championship. Sane hasn't had many opportunities to show her proficiency as a singles performer on the main roster, but she grabbed the opportunity with both hands when she faced the RAW Women's Champion on the Red brand.

Asuka and Kairi Sane are heels and proved as much by embarrassing Paige on RAW. Furthermore, Asuka pinned Becky Lynch in a tag team match a couple of weeks ago, with a little help from the green mist. Becky Lynch might have found her next challenger, considering she crossed paths with both Kabuki Warriors in recent weeks, and either Asuka or Kairi Sane may soon challenge 'The Man' for the RAW Women's Championship.

#1 Seth Rollins will go to any extent to beat The Fiend at Crown Jewel

Erick Rowan wrestled Seth Rollins in a Falls Count Anywhere Match on RAW, giving the fans a taste of Crown Jewel. Rollins will take on The Fiend this Thursday and the match will have a similar stipulation. The Universal Champion won the bout, but had to toil hard to get the job done. When the two Superstars took the match to the backstage area, Rollins trapped an incapacitated Rowan under a forklift for the pinfall.

Rollins certainly attained momentum before the mega clash in Saudi Arabia. 'The Beastslayer' is set to face a monster, who has been terrorizing WWE since making his in-ring debut a couple of months ago. Therefore, Rollins has to be at his very best to overcome Bray Wyatt's demented alter ego.

Rollins and The Fiend already collided at Hell in a Cell, but the match didn't have a proper ending, eliciting a negative crowd reaction from the WWE Universe. The controversial finish certainly encouraged the company to book a rematch.

Rollins proved that he was willing to go to any extent on RAW and a similar thing could happen at Crown Jewel, where the match will not be stopped for any reason.
