The NXT invasion began on SmackDown last week, planting seeds for the tri-branded warfare at Survivor Series, which is set to place this month. This continued on the Red Brand as NXT invaded RAW and the NXT Champion main evented the show.

A couple of exciting tag team matches took place this week as The Kabuki Warriors lost to Charlotte and Natalya while The OC defeated the team of Humberto Carrillo and The Street Profits. Sin Cara and Carolina lost to Andrade and Zelina Vega in a mixed tag team match. Buddy Murphy picked up another victory over Cedric Alexander. Adam Cole, who pinned Daniel Bryan on SmackDown, faced Seth Rollins in the main event, but the dream match was interrupted by the Undisputed Era, leading to a massive brawl between NXT roster and RAW roster.

After ambushing Bayley on SmackDown, Shayna Baszler confronted Becky Lynch in a backstage interview. Brock Lesnar showed up on RAW to hunt Rey Mysterio, but the latter took down the Beast.

With less than three weeks left for Survivor Series, WWE already finalized two new matches for the pay-per-view. Shayna Baszler, the NXT Women's Champion, will take on RAW Women's Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Women's Champion Bayley in a triple threat match at Survivor Series, while Brock Lesnar will put the WWE Championship on the line against Rey Mysterio.

In this article, we will find out three things WWE hinted on RAW this week.

#3 Charlotte and Natalya are a tag-team now and are in the line to challenge The Kabuki Warriors for the tag titles

The Kabuki Warriors, the Women's Tag Team Champions, fought Charlotte Flair and Natalya in a non-title match. With four remarkable in-ring competitors, it was a spectacular match. The reigning Women's Tag Team Champions were beaten, as Asuka tapped out to Natalya.

WWE already hinted a new women's tag team last week, when Charlotte and Natalya teamed up to defeat the former Women's Tag Team Champions, The IIcoincs. Given two women also joined hands this week, it is clear that the women's tag team division has a new team.

After remaining in the singles division for years, it is certainly a wise move for The Queen to be in the tag team division, considering she never got the opportunity to challenge for the Women's Tag Team Titles. Natalya and Charlotte certainly made a statement, beating The Kabuki Warriors, and they are likely to get a title shot in the future.

#2 The rivalry between Humberto Carrillo and AJ Styles is over

Vince McMahon likes to push big men, who are well-built, as a captivating look is essential in sports-entertainment. However, WWE has altered the approach in recent years, pushing smaller Superstars who are incredible performers in the ring. Humberto Carrillo is certainly one of them.

The former Cruiserweight Superstar has been impressive since making his main roster debut, fighting two big names on the Red brand. This week, Humberto Carrillo teamed up with The Street Profits to take on The OC in a six-man tag team match. Running high on momentum after winning the Tag Team World Cup trophy at Crown Jewel, The OC defeated The Street Profits as AJ Styles picked up the win for his team by pinning Humberto.

Humberto already locked horns with AJ Styles twice last week, including at Crown Jewel, where he won the 20-Man Battle Royal match to earn the title shot. Given Carillo got pinned by the Phenomenal One again, the former is not likely to get another opportunity of facing the latter. Kevin Owens, who gave a Stunner to Styles a few weeks ago, could be a serious contender for the US Championship in the near future.

#1 WWE booked the match between Rey Mysterio and Brock Lesnar to protect The Fiend

Survivor Series is traditionally known as the battle of two brands to prove brand supremacy, but three brands will be part of the pay-per-view this year. With the addition of NXT, the champions of the Black & Yellow brand will compete at Survivor Series. Moreover, the WWE Champion and the Universal Champion will not clash at Survivor Series, which is the conventional way of deciding the dominant world champion.

As announced on Monday Night RAW, Rey Mysterio will challenge the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar. As a result, the WWE Champion Brock Lesnar will not clash with the Universal Champion 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt, meaning the latter will find a new opponent at Survivor Series.

It is clear that the company has taken the step to protect both Brock Lesnar and The Fiend. With two thumping victories over Kofi Kingston and Cain Velasquez, Lesnar has the momentum and he can't afford to lose to The Fiend, considering The Beast already suffered two losses this year, which is unusual for him. The Fiend has been indomitable in WWE, and he can't afford to suffer a defeat either, especially after an emphatic victory at Crown Jewel.
