The final stop before WrestleMania 35 is WWE Fastlane. Scheduled for March 10, the pay-per-view will continue with the existing feuds and go on to hype WrestleMania 35.

WWE has already announced two Championship matches (Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston for WWE Championship and The Usos vs Shane McMahon and The Miz for the the SmackDown Tag Team Championship) for the event. While WWE may go on to add a few more bouts for the event, Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston for the WWE Championship may not only grab a lot of eyeballs but might also prove to be the match of the year.

After his stellar performances in the gauntlet match and at Elimination Chamber, Kofi earned a shot at WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan for Fastlane. However, given WWE is having this match at Fastlane, plus WrestleMania 35 just around the corner, a win for the high flyer on March 10 looks highly unlikely.

While things could pan out in a number of ways, we take a look at 3 potential ways WWE could end Daniel Bryan vs Kofi Kingston at Fastlane.

#3 Kofi Kingston wins via disqualification

Could Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan still happen at WrestleMania 35?
Could Kofi Kingston vs Daniel Bryan still happen at WrestleMania 35?

Even though Kofi Kingston has become crazily over among fans in the last couple of weeks, it is hard to imagine him winning the Championship at Fastlane. With WrestleMania 35 just around the corner, WWE might like to play it safe and have Bryan retain on March 10.

However, if WWE decides to award Kofi with a much-deserved title reign, they might prolong the feud until WrestleMania 35 to crown him as the new Champion.

Thus, there is a slight chance that WWE could have Daniel Bryan and Erick Rowan attack and decimate Kofi to not only award him a win via disqualification but also prolong the feud until WrestleMania where Kofi could overcome the duo to win the title.

While this looks highly unlikely, it might be the only possible way that Kofi is winning on March 10.

#2 Bryan wins the match, Kofi wins the night

With WrestleMania 35 in the picture, it is very much expected that Bryan will retain his WWE Championship at Fastlane. However, given the fact that Kofi has put over himself in the last few weeks, WWE might have him show another stellar performance on March 10.

Creative could have him follow the same route that Finn Balor followed at Royal Rumble. Kofi could show heart and go neck-to-neck against Daniel Bryan and win the hearts of the fans just like The Boss of the Balor Club did at Royal Rumble 2019.

WWE could have Kofi fight against all odds to push Daniel Bryan to extreme limits only for Bryan to escape with a victory.

While this would not please the fans to that extent, this would certainly not undermine Kofi's credibility. On top of that, this would also not hinder any WrestleMania plans that WWE might have for Daniel Bryan.

#1 Big E turns heel to hand over a victory to Daniel Bryan

Is the end near for the New Day?
Is the end near for the New Day?

The WWE Universe has been speculating a potential heel turn of the New Day for the past few months. However, it seems that the right time might just be here for the New Day to split.

Yes, WWE could have Big E show up during the Championship match at Fastlane to turn on Kofi Kingston and cost him the match. While this would not hinder any WrestleMania plans for Daniel Bryan, it would lay down the breadcrumbs for a mouthwatering feud between two proven performers of WWE.

Also, given the fact that Kofi is crazily over among fans, WWE would not like to undermine him. Thus, this would serve as an apt explanation for his loss.

On another note, this would open doors for an interesting storyline angle between two stalwarts of New Day and could eventually spice things up in the mid-card on the blue brand.
