Here are three superstars "Stone Cold" Steve Austin was good friends with and two he probably doesn't like.

#5 Good Friends With - Mick Foley

"Stone Cold" Steve Austin and Mick Foley became friends in the early beginnings of their WCW careers. At that time both the stars were struggling in their wrestling career. Later on, they left WCW at the same time, then moved to ECW and finally made their debuts in WWE.

When they became big stars in WWE, their friendship was even stronger working together to create better programming for the company. They also feuded various times in some of the exciting rivalries in WWE.

They have always praised each other's careers in podcasts, in fact, they have done podcast interviews together remembering and sharing all the moments they had backstage. Foley and Austin used to travel together as well, one of the similar habits both of them had was saving as much money as possible on the road.

#4 Probably Doesn't Like - Brock Lesnar

There is no doubt Brock Lesnar and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin probably don't like each other at all. It was believed that one of the biggest reasons Austin walked out from WWE in 2002 was because he was asked by the WWE Creatives to job to Lesnar.

Austin has been saying in interviews that losing to Lesnar didn't bother him, but the fact WWE wanted to give this match on free TV with no buildup, that bothered him. This hasn't stopped The Beast from taking shots at the Texas Rattlesnake on various occasions.

When he was competing for UFC, he was asked that whom would he like to wrestle if he ever returned to WWE, and his answer was Austin. He called Austin an afraid man who walked away from WWE, just so he can't face him.

Austin has always said that he and Lesnar have a friendly relationship, but these constant shots they have taken on each other tell us something else. It was expected that they might have a match against each other at WrestleMania 32, but again the match never happened as Austin's doesn't want to come back to the ring due to his neck injury.

#3 Good Friends With - Goldberg

It would be really surprised to know that both Goldberg and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin are real-life friends. They both were huge stars of their respective promotions, when Austin was the face of WWE, during that time Goldberg was one of the biggest stars of WCW.

Fans always wanted a match between Austin and Goldberg, in spite of that they have never ever faced each other. The reason for that is both of these stars were never on the same promotion for a long time.

When Austin left WCW to pursue a career in WWE, Goldberg made his debut on WCW and put up an undefeated streak of 173 wins. Although Goldberg debuted in WWE later, he still never had a one-on-one match with the Texas Rattlesnake.

Goldberg has said in various interviews that he respects Austin a lot and has learned so many things about WWE from him. This clearly means Austin and Goldberg really had a good friendship despite they have not spent much time together.

#2 Probably Doesn't Like - Hulk Hogan

Another wrestler that "Stone Cold" Steve Austin dislikes in Hulk Hogan, they never like each other despite both being two of the biggest stars in the promotion. Hogan was the main star of the 1980s and after that Austin came into the picture in 1990s.

A dream match between both of them was what fans desperately wanted. In fact, The "Icon vs. Icon" match between Hogan and The Rock at WrestleMania 18 was actually supposed to be Hogan against Austin instead.

However, this match never happened because both men had refused to lose to each other. Austin believed that the match would be displeasing to watch for the fans and he would have to slow himself down facing a former star who is past his prime.

Since then Hogan has been calling Austin a coward for refusing to face him. Even though the fight between Austin and Hogan is real, they still made an appearance together at WrestleMania 30 along with The Rock in one of the most memorable segments of WWE.

#1 Good Friends With - The Rock

If there has to be a very good friend of "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, it can be none other then The Rock. In fact, Austin gained so much popularity during his run in the main event scene, due to having a great rival like The Rock.

I mean, who can sell the Stone Cold Stunner better than The Rock? Even though they had fought various times on WWE Television, they are really close friends in real life. Both of them have spent the majority of the time thinking about how to improve their rivalry.

Austin and The Rock were both faces of the company at one point, and they had some heated moments in their friendship such as when Austin walked off the company in 2002, The Rock buried him on live television.

Still, they have the ultimate respect for each other's careers, when The Rock defeated Austin in his last match at WrestleMania 19, following the win, he stayed down for a moment to pay his respect to Austin, giving him one last message before Austin we away.
