3 WWE Royal Rumble 2019 rumors we hope are true and 3 we hope aren't

This Royal Rumble PPV will definitely not the one to forget
This Royal Rumble PPV will definitely not the one to forget

We're only a few weeks away before we get to know which two superstars will book their place first at the biggest showcase of the Immortals, WrestleMania.

Royal Rumble PPV will take place on 27 January live from Pheonix, AZ.

As of now, WWE haven't confirmed matches for the PPV. The only thing we know as of now is that Brock Lesnar might defend his title against Brock Lesnar at the PPV, as the same was promised by Stephanie McMahon to Strowman.

Thus far, a lot of rumours have come forth suggesting, this Royal Rumble PPV will definitely not the one to forget as WWE might have booked a plethora of surprises for us to witness that night.

Latest reports are suggesting that we might end up seeing many superstars from the past coming back to become a part of next year's Royal Rumble PPV, namely The Rock and Shawn Michaels.

So, let's get started without further ado and see which rumour we hope should come true at Royal Rumble PPV 2019 and which we hope should not come true.

#6 Hope Not- Braun Strowman to lose against Brock Lesnar AGAIN...

Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar
Braun Strowman and Brock Lesnar

This past month on Raw Stephanie McMahon returned to the WWE TV. As soon as she made her way to the ring she faced the enraged Braun Strowman who desperately wanted to lay his hands not only on Baron Corbin but also on Brock Lesnar as his title match at Crown Jewel PPV ended in a quite unique fashion.

When Stephanie confronted "The Monster Among Men", she promised him that not only he will get his chance to lay his hands on Corbin but also on Lesnar. She promised him a shot on Lesnar's title at the Royal Rumble PPV.

Also just like the last time, The Beast Incarnate is expected to defeat Strowman this time also.

Yes, if the rumour does come true then we might see Strowman getting buried again. And I guess, this time around Lesnar will defeat Strowman clean as if WWE wants to end their long-running feud, they need to leave no reason behind for these two men to fight again.

#5 Hope True- The Rock to win the Men's Royal Rumble

The Rock
The Rock

The Rock is long rumoured to return to WWE. Though there have been a lot of talking in the past between The Rock and WWE about his return plans, due to Rock's filming schedule these plans have never come to fruition.

Also, according to some reports, The Rock was supposed to win next year's Royal Rumble and go on to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 35, due to the condition of Roman their match is off the table now. But, the idea of The Rock winning RR is still on the board, if we believe the rumours.

Also, he's now expected to face Brock Lesnar instead of Reigns for the Universal Title at WM 35. And if The Rock will actually fight Lesnar at the showcase of the Immortals, I don't need to say that it'll be a match that will be remembered for ages.

#4 Hope Not- Charlotte Flair to win the Women’s Royal Rumble

Charlotte Flair
Charlotte Flair

Earlier this year WWE hold its first-ever 30-Women's Royal Rumble match. The match was won by "The Empress of Tomorrow", Asuka. Be seeing the response that this match received WWE has made it an annual event.

And now as we are on the verge of witnessing second women's royal rumble match, WWE rumour mill is in its full swing, every day speculating a new winner for the aforementioned match.

Yes, according to the latest rumour, Charlotte Flair is now being considered to win the next year's women's royal rumble match. Also, Charlotte's title match is coming up this Sunday. As she, Asuka and Becky Lynch will fight in the TLC match for the SmackDown Women's Title.

After Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch is standing up to win the women's RR match. I guess, after the TLC PPV will be over, we'll finally get to know as of what is really going on in WWE officials' minds considering the winner of next year's Women's Royal Rumble.

Also, if Charlotte will win the match then she'll eventually face Ronda Rousey at WrestleMania 35 as their match is long rumoured. Though Charlotte vs Rousey isn't a bad match in itself, if it happens then we'll not get to see Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey at WM 35.

#3 Hope True- NXT call-ups

NXT
NXT

Last time we saw a Superstar of NXT brand making main roster debut was a few months back. Then Sanity was the latest addition to the main roster. Also, Lars Sullivan is also ready to make his main roster debut. After all, he's being promoted for weeks now.

Also as per the rumor, not only we will see Lars Sullivan making his main roster debut soon, but also several other superstars of the yellow brand, namely EC3, Aleister Black, and Velveteen Dream.

Speaking of EC3 and Aleister Black, they are expected to jump ships next month at the Royal Rumble PPV while speaking of Dream he's expected to come to the main roster following Royal Rumble PPV.

Only time will tell if we'll really see this rumour coming to reality as several additions to the main roster will help make things a little bit more interesting.

#2 Hope Not- Alexa Bliss out until Royal Rumble

Alexa Bliss
Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss is out of action for weeks now and though the reports are saying that Bliss is cleared for her in-ring return, according to the latest rumour she might be out of action until next year's Royal Rumble PPV.

Earlier this month, Mark Henry provided an update on Bliss' condition. He said that Bliss was dealing with Vertigo and Memory loss following the concussion and after her evaluation, she's cleared for in-ring return.

But as per the Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Radio, Bliss is training for her return but she's currently taking bumps not in the real ring but on the crash pad. This training of Bliss clearly points out that Bliss won't be returning anytime soon, let alone participating in the Royal Rumble PPV.

I guess, keeping this in mind she was given the authority figure role.

#1 Hope True- Kevin Owens at Royal Rumble

Kevin Owen
Kevin Owen

Kevin Owens is out of action for months now. Latest reports suggest that Kevin Owens is currently home and is recuperating. After all, his both knees went through surgery a few weeks ago. Recovering from a knee injury is never easy due to which Owens is out action for this long now.

Not to mention, his partner-in-crime Sami Zayn also required surgery on both of his shoulder.

Also, according to the latest rumour, Owens is pencilled in for return before WrestleMania 35 in order to set up his WM match. Currently, Owens is expected to return as early as February or March, but as Royal Rumble PPV 2019 will take place on 27 January, it doesn't rule out the possibility of us seeing Owens turning up at Royal Rumble and fight like a maniac.

So, only time will tell if we'll really see Kevin Owens as early as next month at Royal Rumble PPV, maybe even set-up his WM 35 match. Who knows?
