Triple H has been around for years and is an undisputed legend of the squared circle, not only for what he's accomplished inside it but also for what he's done with NXT. 'The Game' is one of the highest-ranking officials in WWE right now and is the brains behind a lot of WWE's recent expansion.

Over the years, some have said that Triple H is difficult to work with while others are of the totally opposite view. The lesson here seems to be that Triple H. With that being said, let's take a look at some people Triple H is friends with in real life and some he does not get along with.

#3 LIKES - Seth Rollins

One current WWE Superstar who Triple H has utmost faith in is Seth Rollins. Not only did Triple H crown Rollins as the first NXT Champion, but he's also championed Rollins since he's been on main - first as part of The Shield and then as a singles guy.

Rollins was a part of The Authority and then was put over at WrestleMania by Triple H. Rollins was also the man who finally slew The Beast. The two are also close behind the scenes, with Triple H being sort of Rollins' mentor.

#3 DISLIKES - Scott Steiner

Scott Steiner was seen as a massive acquisition after WWE finally signed him in 2002. His first feud was against Triple H and the two didn't get along almost from the word go. Even worse, their first match at the Royal Rumble was terrible, with Steiner getting gassed out early. Triple H lost the match by DQ but won the rematch at No Way Out. Steiner left the WWE in 2002.

The real-life heat between the two is still simmering. Steiner tore into Triple H during an interview in 2017 with Ring Rust Radio:

“As far as nowadays, I feel sorry for guys, especially with what they do in the WWE. They are cookie cutters. You got 20 or 30 idiot writers with the two biggest idiots being Stephanie McMahon and Hunter McMahon. I say Hunter McMahon because I can't tell which one is the bigger douche, her or him. I'll give him her last name because he's a man without a backbone. So, got those two and the 30 writers trying to write for all these guys and they all got the same mindset trying to make all these characters."

#2 LIKES - Members of Evolution

Triple H is on great terms with the former members of Evolution. Randy Orton has been one of the top guys in WWE for years while Batista recently returned and wrestled the last match of his career against 'The Game' - a match Batista has wanted for years.

As for Ric Flair, he's one of the people closest to Triple H and is someone Triple H has admired for years.

#2 DISLIKES - Bret Hart

Bret Hart

Despite the two decades that have passed since, Bret Hart still hasn't fully forgiven Triple H for the role he played in the Montreal Screwjob. Although Triple H definitely respects Hart for his accomplishments in the ring, they aren't on the best terms. Hart famously said that Triple H wasn't fit to lace his boots after 'The Game' was rated higher than him in WWE 2K16.

Hart also had the following to say about Triple H's wrestling ability during the same interview:

"He was a very good, medium, mediocre wrestler. He never blew me away with anything that he’s ever done. He’s never come up with much."

Seeing that Triple H has spearheaded NXT, saying that he hasn't come up with much seems harsh at the very least.

#1 LIKES - Shawn Michaels

As most wrestling fans probably know, Triple H and Shawn Michaels have been best friends for over two decades. They're both members of The Kliq, and after Shawn returned to WWE in the early 2000s, his first program was against his best friend.

Michaels is now one of the coaches at the WWE Performance Center, overseeing WWE's future generation.

#1 DISLIKES - CM Punk

Triple H and CM Punk definitely have real-life heat and you can't blame 'The Game'. Since Punk left the WWE, he has called out Triple H and the McMahons.

To his credit, Triple H has never publicly dissed CM Punk. However, from the way that the Summer of Punk was booked and the role Kevin Nash played, you could at the very least argue that 'The Game' didn't rate Punk that highly.
