3 WWE Superstars who could turn heel at Crown Jewel 2019

WWE could be planning a few swerves for October 31st.

Scheduled for October 31st, 2019, WWE Crown Jewel is just 4 days away from this Sunday. The highly anticipated show will emanate from King Fahd International Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia and broadcast live on the WWE Network.

With a 20-Man Battle Royal, plus AJ Styles vs TBD for the US Title being the latest additions, WWE has now announced a total of eight high profile clashes for the event. WWE confirmed that winner of the 20-Man Battle Royal will take on Styles for the United States Championship later that very same evening.

Given the star-studded match card, WWE Crown Jewel promises to be an epic event, but WWE could be planning a few shocking swerves to add to the element of surprise and lay some breadcrumbs for future feuds. This could include some heartbreaking heels turns.

Without any further adieu, let's take a look at three WWE Superstars who could turn heel at Crown Jewel.

#3 Ali

A heel turn for Ali would be shocking.
A heel turn for Ali would be shocking.

WWE has announced a 10-Man Tag Team Match between Team Hogan (Captain Roman Reigns, Rusev, Ricochet, Ali, Shorty G) and Team Flair (Captain Randy Orton, King Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley, WWE Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura and Drew McIntyre) for Crown Jewel.

However, after being announced as a part of Team Hogan for Crown Jewel, Ali went on to take a shot at Hulk Hogan over Twitter:

With a single tweet, WWE may have laid down the breadcrumbs for an Ali heel turn on October 31st.

Ali could turn on his team, costing them the 10-Man Tag Team Match. Creative may even have the SmackDown Superstar join forces with Team Flair to beat the living daylights out of the entire Hulk Hogan led team.

It is also noteworthy that Ali currently seems a bit lost in the mix on the SmackDown roster and a heel turn might help rejuvenate his WWE career.

#2 Braun Strowman

SmackDown Superstar Braun Strowman is scheduled to take on professional boxer Tyson Fury at Crown Jewel 2019. While the result of this bout seems to be a bit of a no-brainer (expect a quick victory for the British professional boxer), WWE might have something more planned for 'The Monster Among Men.'

Chances of Strowman showing up during the Universal Championship match are higher than ever before. In case fans have forgotten, The Fiend laid waste to Strowman only a few short weeks ago on RAW during his match against Universal Champion Seth Rollins.

Bray Wyatt has recently moved from RAW to SmackDown via the WWE Draft and chances of 'The Eater of Worlds' getting his hands on the Universal Championship are minimal, since a title change would leave the Red brand without a world championship. WWE could have Strowman show up to cost Wyatt the Universal Championship on October 31st. This would allow Rollins to retain, while keeping The Fiend character strong. The move would also build toward a classic feud between the former Wyatt Family members.

#1 The Usos

The Usos could make a surprise return at Crown Jewel.
The Usos could make a surprise return at Crown Jewel.

The Usos have been off WWE TV ever since Jimmy Uso found himself in legal trouble back in July 2019. Reportedly, WWE currently has no plans for the duo, however, all this could change on October 31st at Crown Jewel.

WWE has announced the largest Tag Team Turmoil Match in history featuring: The New Day, The Viking Raiders, The O.C, Heavy Machinery, Lucha House Party, Zack Ryder & Curt Hawkins, The Revival, Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode, and The B-Team. The winners of the massive bout will be crowned the Best in the World and receive the coveted World Cup.

Given the fact that WWE has been booking them as a legit force on the RAW roster, The Viking Raiders look like the favorite to walk out of the event victorious, but may find themselves in The Usos' line of sight.

WWE could have The Usos show up to congratulate the winners, only to turn on them. Jimmy and Jey could go on to attack the winners and remind everyone that they should indeed be looked at as one of the greatest tag teams in the world of wrestling.
