As we head into Survivor Series, there is a lot of speculation about which brand will reign supreme. The road to the PPV is sure bound to be interesting since you can expect a lot of invasions and good segments. The five on five matches are likely to gather more interest with the involvement of NXT this time around.

Usually, in the build-up to the PPV, the chances of someone turning heel and betraying their team are high. The company can use it to give some momentum to wrestlers who may need it. Typically, it's a disgruntled Superstar on the roster who turns their back on their brand.

As always, we might see some of those this year as well. However, it wouldn't make sense if WWE threw a surprise at us just for the sake of it and without any logical reason. In this article, we take a look at three wrestlers who could turn heel soon.

#3. The Miz

The Miz has lately been quite busy outside WWE with the birth of his second daughter and his reality show "Miz and Mrs." Due to that, he has had a reduced role on TV for a while now. After his feud with Shane McMahon, he was involved with Shinsuke Nakamura for a while before being drafted to SmackDown.

He recently lost to Tomasso Ciampa during NXT's invasion of SmackDown. It is clear that his babyface run hasn't been gathering steam and needs to end soon. The Miz has pretty much done it all but still has a lot to offer. Since he isn't firing on all cylinders right now, their best bet is to turn him heel.

We've seen time and again that he works very well as the bad guy and brings in a lot of attention to his feuds. Turning him heel and putting him against the likes of Ali or Shorty G will benefit all parties, and WWE should capitalize on that.

#2. Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman has been subject to WWE's inconsistent booking for a long time, and he just can't seem to catch a break. The company has this habit of pushing him for a while to give fans some hope, only to let us all down in the end. Despite being one of WWE's most popular guys in the past few years, Strowman is yet to win a major title.

At Crown Jewel, the Monster Among Men lost by count-out to Tyson Fury. Moving forward, they can turn him heel to freshen up his character and give him some momentum. Strowman has been displaying some heel characteristics ever since his feud with Seth Rollins a few months ago. It is also worth noting that he picked a fight with Fury and even went to the extent of attacking him at the WWE Performance Center.

Therefore, it is very likely that he loses it and becomes a full-blown heel in the next few weeks. It is much easier to book a monster like him as a bad guy rather than a good guy. He can become one of the top heels on SmackDown and feud against the likes of Daniel Bryan or Kofi Kingston.

#1. Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins lost his Universal Championship to The Fiend at Crown Jewel 2019. The Architect has been the face of the company and has had quite the year with plenty of ups and downs in terms of booking. Despite starting the year strong by winning the Royal Rumble and defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania, he started losing momentum when feuding with Baron Corbin.

After that feud, it didn't help that he had to face fan favorites like Braun Strowman and The Fiend. The feud with the latter also took a big toll on him mentally, and so, Rollins is a very disgruntled man who doesn't know what's next.

This week on RAW, HHH confronted him, and it looked like he wanted Rollins to join NXT. The latter didn't join and instead faced Adam Cole for the NXT Championship later in the night.

Stood in the middle of the ring when the NXT Superstars attacked their RAW counterparts, Rollins refused to make the save, thereby possibly hinting at a heel turn in the near future. While this could give rise to several possibilities, there are many questions that will need answers. Does he switch brands? Does he stay? Only WWE can answer that, and we have to wait to see how it plays out.
