WWE Royal Rumble is just 3 weeks away, and the match card with some high profile names and mouthwatering clashes looks promising.

Given the Royal Rumble is the first roadblock on the road to WrestleMania, we might witness WWE laying down the breadcrumbs for a few new storylines and feuds leading to WrestleMania 35.

On another note, a lot of feuds are expected to conclude on January 27 at Royal Rumble, and with WrestleMania season getting officially started, plus a few NXT Superstars expected to make their main roster debuts very soon, we might be in for a few brand switches after Royal Rumble.

And so to spice things up a bit in this new era, and to spark a few new feuds and storylines leading to WrestleMania 35, WWE might do a small shakeup of the rosters.

So, without further ado, lets take a look at 3 superstars who might switch brands following Royal Rumble 2019.

#3 Finn Balor

The only highlight in the career of Finn Balor after his main roster debut has been becoming the first ever Universal Champion. His recent stint on the Raw roster has been underwhelming, to say the least.

However, WWE has shown trust in him during the last few weeks, and if reports are to be believed, then Finn Balor might be in for a huge singles push.

With the likes of Drew McIntyre, Seth Rollins, and the Universal Champion - Brock Lesnar in the top ranks, the Raw roster has not much left for him. Thus, WWE might switch him to the SmackDown roster following Royal Rumble.

The blue brand will have ample options for the Boss of the Balor Club. He could feud with the likes of AJ Styles, The Miz, 'The Viper' Randy Orton, and even main event against Daniel Bryan.

#2 Samoa Joe

If it wasn't for his injuries, Samoa Joe would have been among the top ranks on either of the rosters. However, he seems to be lost in the crowd on the SmackDown division, and creative have been undermining him as of late.

However, according to the recent reports of Cagesideseats, Samoa Joe is expected to clash with John Cena on the red brand, following Royal Rumble. So, WWE might switch him to the red brand after Royal Rumble.

Samoa Joe made a lot of heads turn due to his impressive work as a heel against the Universal Champion Brock Lesnar, and then AJ Styles. The intensity he brings to a feud is unparalleled, and he deserves to be pushed as a top heel on WWE's flagship show, Monday Night Raw.

With a potential feud being rumoured against John Cena following Royal Rumble, it could be said that Joe is finally getting what he deserves.

#1 Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman is scheduled to clash with The Beast Incarnate at Royal Rumble for the Universal Championship. However, if reports are to be believed, he might not walk out with the championship on January 27.

With Brock Lesnar expected to feud with Seth Rollins at WrestleMania 35 for the Universal Championship, plus the duo with McIntyre featuring heavily in the main event scene, Vince might switch him to the SmackDown roster.

While there isn't much left for Strowman on the red brand, WWE have multiple options on the SmackDown roster. Creative could push him in the main event scene against Daniel Bryan and AJ Styles, or they could give him a chance to rebuild his lost momentum in the mid cards via feuding with 'The Viper' Randy Orton.

Thus, we might see The Monster among Men featuring on the blue brand after Royal Rumble.
