4 biggest dream matches we still wish to see at WrestleMania

W
Will we ever get to witness these dream bouts?

WWE fans have had the honour & privilege to witness some of the biggest matches culminate at WrestleMania, yet, there are still some bouts that have been highly anticipated but not been encouraged to the extent of being held inside a squared circle.

There is a reason why we sign these showdowns as dream matches and if you're a WWE fan, there is a corner in your heart that still yearns to see these matches come to life.

Honorable mentions:

10. Bret Hart Vs Cesaro

9. Mick Foley Vs Dean Ambrose

8. The Shield Vs NWO Vs The Bullet Club

7. Daniel Bryan Vs Shinsuke Nakamura

6. Roman Reigns Vs Goldberg

5. The Rock Vs Shawn Michaels

4. Hulk Hogan Vs John Cena

3. CM Punk Vs Eddie Guerrero

2. Brock Lesnar Vs Stone Cold

1. The Undertaker Vs A.J. Styles

Here are the 4 matches that we still want to see at Wrestle Mania

#4 Daniel Bryan Vs Kurt Angle

A once
A once in a lifetime bout

Well, if you want a dream match that could not only be anticipated by legions of WWE fans but would also deliver what is expected of them in the ring. This match is a dream for all those hardcore fans who live & breathe the technical aspect of wrestling and these two legends are the strong pillars of wrestling.

While you cannot deny that WWE will never pull the trigger on this one but never say never is what WWE believes in and if Bryan definitely returns to the ring somewhere down the line, this is the match the company should vouch for considering these two superstars would do everything in their power to produce an instant classic. It doesn't matter who wins or loses, it will be a victory for all those die-hard maniacs who have admired this business since day one.

#3 The Undertaker Vs Sting

Two
Two icons. One dream.

Every single time 'the Vigilante' is questioned about a match he wants to have before hanging up his boots, his instant reply is the Undertaker and why wouldn't it be considering these two have been the most dominant & celebrated performers in the history of this wrestling business. It's a damn shame that we never got to see them square off against each other for a match but, there's no denying that the WWE could still console the fans by setting up a dream confrontation somewhere down the line at Wrestle Mania.

This remains one of the biggest what if's in wrestling history and still disappoints the fans who still dream to see these two icons stand face-to-face against each other at the Grandest Stage of them All. Considering that the match would have taken place in the WWE, the company would have never let 'the Phenom' lose to Sting which makes it obvious who would have won if it ever happened.

#2 A.J. Styles Vs Shawn Michaels

W
Who is the greatest wrestler ever?

If you're the biggest fan of this business, you know how mad you got when a rumor broke out regarding these two settling some business inside a squared circle at the Royal Rumble. This dream match would tear the roof off the place if it had happened and, while we still admire HBK as the greatest wrestler alive, 'the Phenomenal One' might take that spot away from him sooner rather than later.

Nonetheless, this match has blockbuster written all over it and, if WWE ever pushed the envelope on wanting to bring HBK back for one final match, you can bet that it would be for A.J. Styles. These two veterans have proved their worth in the business and do not need a 5-star classic to justify their claim of being the most gifted wrestlers on the planet.

#1 C.M. Punk Vs Stone Cold Steve Austin

T
The greatest match in sports entertainment history

The reason why this match tops the list is that it is a personal favourite and surpasses every single dream match on the card in terms of business & increased marketability. This match is the sole reason why fans anticipate moments like these to culminate at 'the Grandest Stage of Them All'. Two anti-heroes with a similar persona challenging the Authority and changing the damn business for the better.

These two icons have revolutionized the wrestling business during their respective time periods and, deserve to be recognized for their accomplishments in the WWE. Imagine the promos between these two; it would have set the Wrestle Mania stage on fire and would have been enough to sell out an entire stadium considering the popularity these two personalities have. This match might never happen but if it ever did, it would have been a cult classic.
