WWE had a fantastic week as Toronto hosted four awesome shows. While SummerSlam was an excellent PPV, RAW was equally good last week. The company is gradually building storylines for Clash of Champions, which will take place next month.

After a gap of four years, King of the Ring tournament will return next week. The company announced it last week and eight Superstars from the red brand will participate. Sasha Banks, who was away from the ring for a long time, made her long-awaited return last week. Drew McIntyre took revenge for his previous loss last week when he defeated Cedric Alexander.

Following a humiliating loss against Goldberg, Dolph Ziggler easily lost to The Miz last week. The recently crowned Women's Tag Team Champions Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross defended the twin belts successfully against the Kabuki Warriors. Moreover, Seth Rollins and AJ Styles tussled in the main event, but the match ended in no contest.

The next RAW will be held at the XCEL Energy Center in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The first round of King of the Ring tournament will be held on RAW this week, while Braun Strowman is scheduled to face AJ Styles for the US Title. A number of exciting things could happen on the Red Brand this week.

Here we discuss four things WWE could be planning on RAW this week.

#4 Johnny Gargano returns to the main roster

Johnny Gargano, who mainevented NXT TakeOver: Toronto, challenged Adam Cole for the NXT Title. It was certainly the match of the night as the two men offered another classic match. Following the loss, Gargano bid farewell to the NXT Universe. The gesture suggests a main roster move for Gargano.

Though it didn't happen on RAW last week, we might see him this week. Gargano already made his main roster debut earlier this year. However, he didn't stay long, as he went back to the developmental brand. The former NXT Champion probably had unfinished business with Adam Cole. Considering Gargano is the first-ever triple crown champion in NXT, he is certainly a big name.

If Gargano returns to the main roster, he could face some notable names. In my humble opinion, Rey Mysterio could be an ideal choice to be his first rival. Since Mysterio put over Andrade in recent weeks, he could do the same for Gargano so the latter could make an excellent first impression.

#3 Samoa Joe, Drew McIntyre, Cedric Alexander and Baron Corbin win their respective first-round matches of King of the Ring tournament

The stage is set for the King of the Ring tournament this week. While eight Superstars will compete from the red brand, the other eight Superstars will compete from the blue brand. The last two finalists will fight at Clash of Champions, where the ultimate King of the Ring winner will be crowned.

The first round is scheduled to take place on RAW this week. Cesaro will fight Samoa Joe and Drew McIntyre will take on Ricochet. Furthermore, Sami Zayn will face Cedric Alexander and The Miz will lock horns with Baron Corbin. There is no doubt that the match card is stupendous, and it should be a good tournament.

Considering Drew McIntyre is a tournament favourite, he is expected to beat Ricochet. Samoa Joe and Cesaro should be a close fight. Sami Zayn has been losing matches every week. Therefore, he has a tiny chance to overcome Cedric Alexander. Meanwhile, Baron Corbin will make his first appearance after Extreme Rules. It will not be surprising if Dolph Ziggler costs The Miz his first-round match.

#2 Becky Lynch attacks Sasha Banks and confirms the RAW Women's Championship match for Clash of Champions

Last week, Sasha Banks took WWE by storm when she turned heel. The four-time RAW Women's Champion made her first appearance since the Showcase of Immortals and she confronted Natalya. While it looked like a friendly interaction, The Boss immediately turned on the Queen of Harts. When Banks was trying to dismantle an injured Natalya, Becky Lynch came to the rescue. However, The Boss stood tall after decimating The Man.

Considering The Man persona of Becky Lynch, she will be eyeing revenge for the beat down last week. It will not be surprising if Lynch attacks Banks with a chair and sends a strong message to the former RAW Women's Champion. It could add fuel the rivalry and the match could be made official on the red brand this week.

Banks' heel turn is a breath of fresh air as it has rejuvenated the women's division of the red brand. Since making her debut on the main roster, it has been a while since she was a heel. Lynch, on the other hand, is at the peak of her popularity. The two Horsewomen already crossed paths a few times in the past and it should an extraordinary rivalry.

#1 Gallows and Anderson interfere the US Championship match and Styles retains the belt

A gigantic match is set to take place on RAW this week when Braun Strowman faces AJ Styles. In fact, the Phenomenal One will put his US Title on the line against the Monster among Men. Considering the stature of Strowman, the champion will have a mountain to climb on Monday.

Styles faced Seth Rollins last week on RAW. Although it was a decent match, the match was cut short after interference from Gallows and Anderson. The Beastslayer was outnumbered by The OC, but Ricochet and Strowman came out to rescue the Universal Champion. As a matter of fact, Strowman delivered a vicious Powerslam to Styles and made a massive statement.

Judging by the current scenario, a feud between Strowman and Styles has started. Since the reunion of The OC, they have been unstoppable. Gallows and Anderson helped Styles to retain the belt in the past and they could assist the Phenomenal One to overcome the Monster among Men. If Gallows and Anderson interrupt the US Championship match, Strowman could win by disqualification but Styles could retain the title this week.
