4 current WWE Superstars who should get pyrotechnics in their entrance

With the return of pyrotechnics all but confirmed for WWE TV, fans will once again get a chance to witness iconic entrances in the style of the Attitude/Ruthless Aggression Era on RAW, SmackDown Live and pay-per-views. To minimize the costs and for safety concerns, Vince McMahon’s company had reduced the usage of pyro, limiting it for the grand pay-per-view shows only.

Instead, WWE spruced up the entrances of their current Superstars by using lights and special effects. However, it simply does not have the same effect as pyro. Imagine Goldberg entering without the pyrotechnics or the Dudley Boyz not hyping up the crowd before their entrance with a rocket.

Since WWE has not yet included the fiery illuminations in the entrances of the current stars, it will be interesting to watch which Superstars receive the chance of appreciating theirs with a pyro effect.

Here are the 4 current talents who may get this enhancement:

#4 Ricochet

When you have a look at Ricochet’s entrance, everything looks appropriate with the way WWE has combined the lighting effects. However, an ‘X-factor’ seems to be missing in that entrance and that can be completed with the aid of pyro.

WWE can either include the explosions right at the start point where the spotlight is on the former United States Champion or they can indeed produce the uproar effect in the second stage of the entry. For a clearer understanding, check out the video from 00:14.

Plus, there is an opportunity to add the pyro when all the lights switch on. Otherwise, there could be an effect when he is in his trademark pose inside the ring (00:56 in the video).

This supplement may help Ricochet’s entrance by leaps and bounds. Granted that his entrance possesses so many spots where the fireworks can be included, the Creative should upgrade his entrance.

#3 Seth Rollins

Over the years, Seth Rollins has matured as a Superstar in WWE. Be it carrying the business on his shoulders in absence of Roman Reigns or being the Universal Champion of Monday Night RAW, the Beast Slayer has performed his task to perfection. There have been criticisms from the fans that his style is getting dull however, Rollins has always suppressed his critics with his in-ring skills.

When he turned face, his entrance needed an ‘X-factor’ element as his preceding theme song was an appropriate tone for a heel. WWE went on to use that song but they modified the entrance tune to include the ‘Burn It Down’ part. This alteration got Rollins over with the crowd. The fans even chant the same in a deafening tone when the reigning Universal Champion gears up for his finisher, the Stomp.

As discussed ahead, Seth Rollins gets the crowd worked during his theme song but WWE can still improve his entrance by using pyro. They have undertaken it at the WrestleMania events and without a doubt, those are some of Rollins’ best entrances in WWE history.

#2 'The Demon King' Finn Balor

The Irish Superstar Finn Balor has two gimmicks. The first is the Finn Balor ‘The Man’ who is just like the other guys on the roster. The other one is of The Demon King who is known for annihilating his adversaries.

WWE has handled the gimmick to perfection as they have made limited use of the Demon King. The fans are anticipating a Universal Championship contest between The Demon King and 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt in the main event of WrestleMania 36, for the simple reason that they are two of the most powerful characters in sports entertainment.

WWE should keep the entrance of Finn’s normal ego conventional but they need to include pyrotechnics to the Demon King’s entrance in order to make it better. The first-ever Universal Champion also has a lengthier entrance when The Demon King steps up therefore, it makes sense to another aspect to that extraordinary occasion.

#1 AJ Styles

The lights are good, but he needs something
The lights are good, but he needs something "Phenomenal"

AJ Styles had made his debut in the year 2016, back when the pyro was active in WWE. In fact, the Creative used to have a blast effect during his entrance. You can view the video here.

This entrance gave a different identity to AJ Styles and the young members of the WWE Universe started mimicking him as well. But since WWE removed the pyro, Styles’ entrances are no longer the same. WWE has added a white-light effect to his entry, making the affair seem unexciting.

The Phenomenal One is truly one of the most prominent Superstars of the modern age. As he has said that he will not sign a fresh contract once his current deal expires, the WWE Creative should put as many efforts as they can to make his run special.

Perhaps, one step in that direction is the addition of pyro which should definitely be done next week. They need not try a new one but use the same old effect once again.

Apart from the names mentioned here, Rey Mysterio may get the fireworks back in his entrance. Brock Lesnar also could get his trademark entrance with the pyrotechnics soon.
