There are few Superstars in wrestling history with the aura and ring presence of The Undertaker, who is considered one of the greatest wrestlers to ever grace the squared circle. 'The Phenom' has had several noteworthy opponents over his 30-year long WWE career, giving avid wrestling fans a number of unforgettable moments to cherish. Having wrestled for three decades, 'The Phenom' is still active in WWE, performing occasionally in big pay-per-views.

The seven-time WWE Champion is in the winter of his professional wrestling career, with the strong possibility of retirement looming. After skipping WrestleMania 35, The Undertaker competed in two matches after the Showcase of Immortals, fighting Goldberg at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia and teaming up with Roman Reigns to participate in a tag team match at Extreme Rules.

It is still unknown when the legendary Superstar will return to the squared circle. Whenever he does return, fans would love to see him compete against some of WWE's top Superstars. Let's examine four dreams opponents for The Undertaker before he calls it a day.

#4 Braun Strowman

The Monster among Men
The Monster among Men

Braun Strowman has had a number of big matches in his career, and a match against The Undertaker could elevate his status in the company. He had a colossal battle at Crown Jewel, where he faced the undefeated boxer Tyson Fury. Despite losing to Fury via count-out, Strowman was protected well. Since making his debut on the main roster, Strowman has been pushed as a monster, establishing himself as one of WWE's most feared competitors.

Earlier in his career, Strowman was a member of The Wyatt Family, but he earned his name as a singles Superstar. With his incredible size and strength, Strowman rapidly became a crowd pleaser and eventually started chasing the Universal Title. Although Strowman is yet to win a singles title, he is a two-time RAW Tag Team Champion.

In terms of size, Strowman and The Undertaker have similarities, and the two big men are capable of offering an outstanding match. Moreover, Strowman's ruthless promos alone would make the rivalry worth watching.

#3 AJ Styles

AJ Styles is one of the biggest names of the modern era, making him a dream opponent for The Undertaker. While the two men have a notable size difference, Styles' experience, dexterity, and enduring popularity could help him deliver a fantastic feud with 'The Phenom.'

When it comes to adroitness in the squared circle, Styles is often compared to one of the greatest in-ring performers, Shawn Michaels. It was Michaels, who engaged in a classic rivalry against The Undertaker, as the two clashed in two of the greatest WrestleMania matches in history.

Making his WWE debut in 2016, Styles has become a gigantic star, winning a number of titles on the main roster. Earlier, 'The Phenomenal One' dominated SmackDown, where he won the WWE Championship twice, and proclaimed the Blue Brand as his house. After switching brands this year, Styles has been equally impressive, and is the current United States Champion.

With just five months left before WrestleMania 36, a match between 'The Phenom' and 'The Phenomenal One' could prove to be a phenomenal addition to the card. 'The Deadman' may not match Styles' swiftness between the ropes, but the former is still competent enough to deliver a brilliant match.

#2 The Fiend

There is no doubt that The Fiend is one of the best things to be introduced by WWE this year. Although The Undertaker met Bray Wyatt at WrestleMania 31, it was a different character altogether and not nearly as captivating as The Fiend. A match between The Undertaker and The Fiend, two striking dark personalities, could be a dream bout for fans.

Bray Wyatt surprised everyone a few months back when he first hosted the Firefly Fun House segment, showing a good-natured side to his character. However, it didn't take him long to showcase his evil alter-ego, The Fiend, who took WWE by storm after making his in-ring debut against Finn Balor. Recently, The Fiend won the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel, defeating Seth Rollins in a Falls Count Anywhere Match.

While The Fiend and The Undertaker might not meet each other anytime soon, considering the latter is the Universal Champion, they could eventually wrestle somewhere down the line. The Fiend has been invincible thus far and 'The Phenom' could be just the man to stop him.

#1 Sting

Sting vs The Undertaker: will we see it?
Sting vs The Undertaker: will we see it?

There are a number of dream matches fans clamor for, and a clash between Sting and The Undertaker is certainly one of them. Sting, the WCW legend, made a late debut in WWE, joining the company in 2014. Competing in just three WWE matches, 'The Icon' was forced to retire after suffering a neck injury in a match against Seth Rollins. Since Sting is already retired from the ring, the question remains: will he return for one final send off?

Similar to 'The Phenom,' Sting's storied career is filled with impressive achievements. Sting's wrestling career spanned over thirty years, but he reached the peak of his career in WCW, where he wrestled for fourteen years. Subsequently, Sting also had a remarkable stint in TNA.

Last year, Shawn Michaels came out of retirement, as DX faced the Brothers of Destruction, so it is within the realm of possibility that Sting comes back to fight 'The Phenom.' Meanwhile, WWE recently teased the dream match, posting a picture of Sting and The Undertaker on various social media platforms. Given Sting's stature, he could be an ideal choice to retire The Undertaker, and it could be a perfect send-off for both men.
