No one managed to make it as big as Finn Balor on the main roster in just three years, and the Superstar’s name became synonymous to the WWE itself in such a short period of time.

To use his charisma and following perfectly, WWE decided to take one of their biggest stars and move him back to NXT in order to build the hype and rating around the brand after its move to the USA Network.

This is surely going to help the brand as much as it's going to help Balor as he is already the longest reigning NXT Champion of all time, and could well be on his way to getting a second reign.

Keeping all that in mind, we couldn’t help but wonder which female Superstars could also move to NXT, following in Balor’s footsteps, and help both themselves and the brand in the process.

In this article, we will look at the 4 female Superstars on the main roster who could jump ship to NXT in the coming weeks and make a big impact on the brand.

#1 Dana Brooke

Brooke needs to get back to the basics in order to become a future star
Brooke needs to get back to the basics in order to become a future star

While Dana Brooke had failed to impress on many occasions after her main roster call-up, it seems like she is finally getting her feet back on the ground and beginning to get better inside the ring with each passing week.

Even though her chances on the main roster have been cut in half, she still gets her fair share of time during commercial breaks hyping up the WWE Universe.

At a point when WWE has nothing more than jobber-like bookings for Brooke, it could be beneficial for the Superstar and the company to move her back to NXT.

Brooke has shown much more promise inside the ring now, and moving to NXT could help her get more experience and refine her skills before returning to the main roster and competing on the mid-card.

Brooke has never been the one who can hold out on her own, and she could align forces with some other women in NXT to form a decent faction to take over the Black and Gold brand.

As the experiments continue on NXT, Brooke could prove to be the first one to move back and become a part of them.

#2 Naomi

Naomi did not have a long run in NXT

Naomi has been a cornerstone in SmackDown’s women’s roster for some time, but recently she has seen a number of questionable bookings and hardships come her way.

The two-time SmackDown Women’s Champion had been very prominent in 2017, but her stocks began to fall come 2018 and now she is nowhere to be seen as she is dealing with some personal problems.

The company has been focused on giving the spotlight to a handful of Superstars at this point, and build another batch for the future, and it seems like Naomi isn’t part of their plans for now.

This could prompt the company to send her back to NXT, as she never really had a long run on the brand before coming to the main roster. Since NXT is much more developed and refined since the last time she was there, it could not only help the brand get more ratings but also help Naomi get more experience and attention.

No matter which direction the company is looking at currently, there is no doubt that Naomi is one of the few women who can define the women’s wrestling scene for years to come.

NXT is currently under the control of the villainous faction led by Shayna Baszler, and someone like Naomi could mobilize a team of her own to take them down and bring a revolution to the brand.

#3 Ruby Riott

NXT could use some rioting at this point

While Ruby Riott became one of the most featured female Superstars on the main roster before her injury which led to a couple of surgeries, she is much more than what she was portrayed to be before her break.

Ruby has been one of the most talked-about female Superstars coming out of the indie-circuit and had also made a big name for herself on NXT. Even though she never won a title in NXT, her faction The Riott Squad became one of the most interesting aspects of the Black and Gold brand before they moved to the main roster.

After some interesting rivalries, it was heartbreaking to watch Ruby and her squad become nothing more than enhancement talent. Ruby, along with her team, started getting jobbed out without displaying her full potential.

A move to NXT could prove to be beneficial for the extremely talented Ruby, who could get back to being a solo competitor on the third brand. Since The Riott Squad has already broken up thanks to the 2019 WWE Superstar Shake-up, it will be easier for the company to move her to NXT.

Ruby could once again make a mark on NXT, and already has a huge fan following on the brand which can help her become one of the tougher women to beat once again.

#4 Nia Jax

Jax never managed to get an NXT Championship run
Jax never managed to get an NXT Championship run

Former RAW Women’s Champion Nia Jax may still have some heat behind her, but the Superstar has drastically improved her in-ring abilities since her move from NXT to the main roster in 2016.

The Irresistible Force played second fiddle to many Superstars on the main roster, especially to Alexa Bliss for most of her time, but managed to get into some good high-level feuds in 2018 and early 2019 before injury got to her.

Now that the top of the women’s roster is occupied with the Four Horsewomen and a few other female Superstars, it could prove to be difficult to make a comeback and get back to the spot she was in before her injury.

Rather than returning to the main roster and competing on the mid-card, it could prove to be beneficial for Nia Jax to go back to NXT and once again show her strength and talent on the Black and Gold brand for some time before returning to the main roster and taking it by storm.

At a time when female Superstars are finding it difficult to overthrow Shayna Baszler as the NXT Women’s Champion, we could see Jax return and defeat the undefeatable to start a reign of her own which could bring her back to the spotlight.
