We are talking about the NXT Champion and the leader of Undisputed Era: Adam Cole. 2019 has been nothing short of phenomenal for him. Every member of the Undisputed Era currently has a championship, and he was able to retain his, the NXT Championship, against Daniel Bryan and Seth Rollins (via DQ). Cole has been a cornerstone of the black and gold brand in not only the scripted war against RAW and SmackDown, but also the 'Wednesday Night Wars' against AEW. Though fans have drawn parallels between him and the WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels, Cole is a unique character who brings something fresh to the table every time. Cole is a fan favorite and has a huge following ever since his time in the independent circuit. #4 Adam Cole is dating AEW star Britt Baker

First, let us get over with the most known fact in this article. Adam Cole is currently dating the star of AEW's Women's division: Britt Baker. Baker, a former NXT superstar, is often regarded as AEW's Charlotte Flair and is sure to make it big in the company. Upon being asked about the struggles of dating someone from a rival promotion, this is what Baker had to say (Source -SportsKeeda):

“Well, so for his NXT schedule it actually works out because they are running on Wednesdays when we run on Wednesdays. It’s sad, it sucks that we don’t get to watch each other live. We don’t get to be there for each other but as far as travelling wise it kind of works; we at least have the time at home together.”

Though the couple has been dating for long, their relationship has been in the news recently due to WWE featuring Baker at the NXT Takeover: War Games III Pay-Per-View. Cole and Baker have wrestled with each other on various occasions and even won the Big Top Tag Team Championships together at WrestleCircus, back in 2017.

#3 Adam Cole did work with WWE long before 2017

This wasn't the first time that Cole was a part of the WWE........

Cole made his NXT debut on August 19, 2017, at NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn III, attacking newly crowned NXT Champion Drew McIntyre alongside Bobby Fish and Kyle O'Reilly, establishing himself as a villain in the process. The following month, the trio of Cole, Fish, and O'Reilly came together to form the world-renowned group they are today. Adam Cole signed with the WWE in 2017, but what many fans do not know is that Cole had worked with WWE in prior years.

In 2010 WWE gave Adam Cole a tryout, which was supposed to be for Xavier Woods. As a way to apologize for their mistake, WWE hired Cole as an extra. His most notable work as an extra was in a segment of the July 2, 2010, episode of SmackDown. He was seen drinking with Straight Edge Society's Serena Deeb. Post that, Cole tried out for the Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), the erstwhile developmental territory of the WWE, in 2013. Though things did not work out then, Cole kept working hard to climb his way up the mountain to reach where he is today.
