WWE or any wrestling promotion for this matter gives a basic character to each superstar around which a particular wrestler builds their image. Each wrestler's role is defined beforehand whether he will play a babyface or heel. All the storylines are based on these conditions only. While some superstars are natural in their role, some have to study their characters in detail to play it convincingly.

In all these years of pro-wrestling, there are bound to be instances when the management judged a particular person wrong and then that person is stuck playing the character that is not at all satisfying and nobody can take him or her seriously. Some are bound to play just a babyface or heel from the beginning and they are natural in it. So, let's look at such wrestlers who are a natural babyface and WWE shouldn't meddle with that role.

#4. John Cena

Even being a part-time wrestler, Cena is the most popular wrestler of WWE right now. The ratings of the show escalate by a long margin whenever he makes an appearance. John Cena did start his career playing a heel with his The Doctor of Thuganomics at gained his initial popularity. But, WWE soon decided to make him babyface, which came more naturally to him. Attitude Era fans consider him the reason to bring this PG vibe to the company with his 'safe' wrestling but that is just half the truth.

Now, Cena is known to be the biggest babyface of the company and this current gimmick has helped him to create his huge fan base. Now, it seems like impossible that he would go back being a heel again considering the popularity that he has among children and how comfortable he is with this character.

When she first arrived in the scene, she was considered as 'lady' John Cena which is actually true as most of her fan base consists of young girls who look at her as their role model, just like Cena. It is good that the company have such a figure who can get more and more girls into the industry.

WWE tried making her a heel after Money in the Bank 2018 in her feud against Shasha Banks, where she lost her temper and attacked Sasha. But, WWE came back to their senses and turned her face again after she and Shasha attended those forgettable anger-management classes. She may not have any direction moving forward as of now, but turning her heel is not the solution.

#2. Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan had most of his memorable moments as a babyface like debuting on WWE, his feud against the Miz and his feud the authority in 2014. Wrestlemania 30 is easily the highlight of his career which again came as a babyface. He did play a heel for short duration with his "NO!" gimmick but he never felt like a star that he is today and could not justify his heel turn either. He is called the underdog for a reason.

Playing babyface comes naturally to him and he is good at that. The place he is in right now, he would probably never go heel again and would just like to enjoy the few years that have been left in his wrestling career.

#1. Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch is the most 'over' wrestler right now. Fans genuinely want to see her as the champion not because Charlotte is a bad champion but because in the last few months she has re-defined herself as a wrestler and everyone wants to see her achieve the ultimate glory. Even when WWE decided to turn her heel in this on-going feud against Charlotte it did not change anything as fans still continue to cheer her instead of Charlotte.

Vince needs to book this differently and turn Charlotte heel instead. Becky is doing a great job with her promos in this new character in the last couple of weeks, but still, there is something missing. You cannot that heel vibe from her as we get from Alexa Bliss or Ruby Riott. She is better off as a babyface.
