In recent years WWE has become relevant and interesting. The NXT brand has afforded fresh new talent. Whereas, the main roster has brought nostalgia and historical moments. However, rarely do the brands interconnect. Nevertheless, in recent times this notion seems to be changing.

Within recent months NXT has been graced with main roster appearances. Notably including; Tyler Breeze and Cesaro. However, there is no reason why. Nevertheless, it is conducive with Triple H's vision, see video below. Therefore, could this be the future of WWE television. Let's explore some feasible options.

Velveteen Dream has earned his position on the NXT brand and has progressed exponentially. Moreover, he was involved in notable classic matches, including against; Aleister Black, Johnny Gargano, and Ricochet. Furthermore, he participated in the inaugural North American Championship ladder match, see video below. Similarly, Shinsuke Nakamura was successful within NXT.

Nakamura became a two-time NXT champion, a record also held by Samoa Joe. On April 4th, 2017 Nakamura debuted on SmackDown Live. Since then he has progressed steadily. In 2018 he won the Royal Rumble match. At WrestleMania 33 Nakamura narrowly lost to Styles. Presently Nakamura is the reigning United States champion.

Velveteen Dream portrays an immense character which affords mystique and drama. Whereas, Nakamura generates strong will and a comedic presence, specifically his recent efforts, see video below. Together their characters could portray an excellent story, and develop chemistry in the ring. Perhaps, Dream will debut before the end of the year?

Shayna Baszler has dominated in NXT since her debut. Throughout her WWE tenure, she was runner-up in the Mae Young Classic and is a former NXT Women's champion. However, her appearances have been sporadic recently, following her championship defeat to Kairi Sane. A similar story is that of Charlotte Flair.

Charlotte would debut in NXT in 2012 and eventually became NXT Women's champion. In 2015 Charlotte made her debut on SmackDown. Ever since then, she has earned multiple championships and participated in historical moments. In particular, the Women's Hell in a Cell match, see video below.

Charlotte has an excellent repertoire including; submissions, striking, and technical wrestling. Whereas, Baszler focuses on brutal striking and submissions. Nevertheless, both are excellent heel characters. With WWE Evolution approaching it is likely fans will witness debuting wrestlers. Therefore, it could be lucrative to pair them together in the future.

Could Baszler make her presence known?

#2. Aleister Black vs Roman Reigns

Aleister Black debuted for the NXT brand in 2016. He would dominate every challenge placed upon him. His path of dominance led to the NXT Championship. At NXT Takeover: New Orleans he defeated Andrade Cien Almas, becoming champion. However, in July 2018 Black would lose the championship to Tomasso Ciampa. Recently he returned from a groin injury. However, Black is expected to debut on the main roster soon.

Speaking of the main roster, Roman Reigns is the current rising star within WWE. Moreover, it is no secret he is likely to replace John Cena as the top performer. However, his recent storylines have been repetitive. Except that of events concerning The Shield, see video below. Ultimately following WWE Crown Jewel, Roman Reigns direction is unknown. Will he still be champion? Nevertheless, he will require a plausible opponent?

An excellent way to debut Black is to interact with Reigns. Moreover, WWE has almost unlimited options to achieve this interaction. Pairing them together would be beneficial. Black has a mystique and hits hard in the ring. Whereas, Reigns lacks an intriguing character, primarily due to poor booking options. Both wrestlers compliment each other's style. Therefore it is an excellent opportunity for WWE. Furthermore, the Raw brand needs fresh characters.

When will Aleister Black debut?

# 1. Undisputed Era vs The Shield (NXT vs Raw)

Consisting of; Adam Cole, Roderick Strong, Bobby Fish, and Kyle O'Reilly, The Undisputed Era have dominated NXT. Throughout their tenure, they have made history. Firstly they were collectively involved in the rebranded WarGames match. Secondly, their leader Cole became the inaugural North American champion. However, it is a matter of time when they debut on the main roster.

On Raw, The Shield, consisting of; Dean Ambrose, Roman Reigns, and Seth Rollins have made their mark. Presently, they are feuding with; Braun Strowman, Dolph Ziggler, and Drew McIntyre. The feud will likely culminate at WWE SuperShown, during their six-man tag team match. Following SuperShowdown The Shield is likely to remain strong. Regardless, of Dean Ambrose's recent actions, see video below. Therefore, a new challenge would be refreshing. That challenge could be the Undisputed Era.

On NXT Undisputed Era have an immense following. Whereas, on Raw, The Shield is extremely popular. With both groups feuding together, it would be lucrative for everyone. Moreover, it could surpass feuds like; D-Generation X versus The Nation of Domination. Furthermore, it could provide excellent matches such as; Adam Cole versus Seth Rollins in singles action. The possibilities are endless.
