4 Possible things Seth Rollins will talk about on WWE Raw tonight

This will be Seth on Raw tonight, just without the Universal Title. Since he doesn't have it anymore.
This will be Seth on Raw tonight, just without the Universal Title. Since he doesn't have it anymore.

It's been a rough few days for Seth Rollins.

Not only did he lose the Universal Championship at Crown Jewel in Saudi Arabia, but he lost it in absolutely brutal fashion to Bray Wyatt. To add insult to injury, he also wound up stranded in the Middle Eastern country for hours while attempting to get back home.

So, with all that jazz on his mind, "The Architect" sent out the following message on Twitter earlier this morning.

With Seth's beloved Universal Championship in the hands of a SmackDown Superstar, and with Brock Lesnar bringing his WWE Championship to Raw, what could Rollins have in mind? Well, that's just the sort of stuff they pay us to think about around here. So, we did. For a good whole.... I dunno... *looks at watch* oh, I don't have a watch... *looks at phone* fifteen minutes, and here's what we came up with.

#4 He's taking some time off

When you're as busy a guy as Seth Rollins, the wear and tear can really... uh... wear and tear on you. Since first winning the Universal Championship from Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 35, he's been working non-stop - and taking quite a few beatings in the process.

If he wasn't being dismantled by Lesnar, he was being attacked by The Fiend. And that's not even taking into consideration his match with Wyatt at Hell in a Cell.

It's more than likely that Rollins has some nagging injuries we don't know about that he'd like to give some time to heal up.

So, there's a good chance that he'll announce that he's taking some time off to head back to Iowa, recharge, and consider his future in WWE.

It's probably not very likely, of course. Rollins doesn't seem like the guy who wants to be away from the ring unless he has to. But, it's still a possibility.

#3 He's turning heel (or at least 'tweener')

Seth Rollins, once again, burning it down
Seth Rollins, once again, burning it down

Now, I know that seems like a weird thing to announce - "Hey, everybody! I'm a bad guy now! Grrrrrrr! Arrrrrrrgh!" - so just bear with me here a minute.

Seth comes to the ring and he doesn't look dejected or sad - he looks angry. He gets on the mic and tells the crowd he did nearly everything in his power to defeat The Fiend... and it wasn't enough. He'll claim that the reason he wasn't able to win was because he didn't go far enough. Now he sees what lengths you have to go to in order to be a world champion in WWE - and he's ready to go there.

At this point, he may or may not lash out at the fans. Or, at the very least, he'll have a "you're either with me or against me" attitude regarding them. Either way, this could be, essentially, a "No more Mr. Nice Architect" kind of speech. He'll probably end it with him saying he's going to burn something down since that's sort of been his thing lately.

Has there been anyone with a pyromaniac gimmick since Kane? That seems like a weird way to go, though. He probably shouldn't go that far. Yeah, scale it back a bit, this hypothetical Seth Rollins that only exists in my head right now.

#2 Brock Lesnar attacks him before he even says anything

This again?
This again?

Now, I know what you're thinking. You're thinking "But, Kevin, normally you're an absolute genius - as well as good looking, but that's irrelevant right now - but isn't WWE Champion Brock Lesnar currently in a feud with Rey Mysterio? Wouldn't that complicate matters?"

Well, to that I say, first, thank you, that's very kind of you and second, you are right. He is in a feud with Rey Mysterio, and that very well could complicate matters. But, when has that ever stopped anything from happening in WWE?

OK, yes, possibly three times. It was a rhetorical question. Shut up.

So, let's say Seth comes out to the ring, about to address his future. He wants revenge on Bray Wyatt for taking his Universal Championship, of course, but Bray is on SmackDown, and he's not. So, he needs to come up with a way to at least get his hands on the guy. And, one way to do that would be to win the WWE Championship so he can face Wyatt at Survivor Series. Maybe even make it a Winner Takes All match.

Dun nuh DUNT duh dun NAH du-That was supposed to be Brock Lesnar's theme music, sorry. Anyway, Brock comes out, Heyman is about to do his usual "My name is Paul Heyman" schpiel but before he can even finish, Brock hits the ring and just destroys Rollins. You know, like usual. The thinking here is that Rollins is one of the few men in WWE who have beaten him more than once, he's going to put Rollins down before he can even get a chance at his belt.

This could get Rollins involved in the Lesnar/Mysterio storyline or... you know, it could lead to any number of things. I didn't say I was going to think of everything.

#1 Seth is going to SmackDown

We could be seeing this again soon.
We could be seeing this again soon.

The fact of the matter is that if he wants to get his hands on Bray Wyatt - and the Universal Championship - he's simply going to have to be on SmackDown. It's already been established that, unless that Superstar is Brock Lesnar - Raw Superstars can't be on SmackDown and vice versa. And, as we all know, rules like that are always taken very, very seriously in pro wrestling all the time.

So, Seth may be announcing that he worked out an agreement to be traded to SmackDown - they can even make announcing who he's being traded for a big deal, and his first order of business is getting back his Universal Championship.

Of course, this would be an opportune time for the lights to go out, the screechy music to play, and The Fiend to show up - either to attack Rollins or just stand at the top of the ramp, holding the title above his head, as he did at the end of Crown Jewel.

With a big draw like Lesnar leaving SmackDown, Fox is going to want another big name to replace him. Without Ronda Rousey around (that we know of), Seth is one of the few names on Raw even close to that level.

But, those are just my ideas. I bet you that you have some ideas of your own. Go ahead and let us know and share them in the comments section below.
