4 reasons why Braun Strowman should join forces with 'The Fiend' Bray Wyatt

Braun Strowman is one of the WWE's top stars and has been in and out of the title picture for a while now. He is set to face his partner in tag-team gold, Seth Rollins at the Clash of Champions for the Universal title.

The outcome of the Universal title match at the PPV will certainly work as a tributary, feeding into the upcoming storylines. We also know that Bray Wyatt appears to be next in line for a title shot. How will this all tie together? Will Braun take the side of his former master or his current partner and fellow tag champion?

After working his way to the top of the company, many do not think it would make sense for him to take a back seat to the red-hot Bray Wyatt and his alter ego, The Fiend. Here are four reasons why it would be a great idea to bring the two monsters back together.

#4 Star Power

Pairing Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman together would give the new group some serious star power. Some folks view Strowman's star power as a reason not to reconnect him with Bray Wyatt. Critics think The Fiend will over-shadow The Monster Among Men and make him look like a man instead of a monster.

Braun is no longer the silent, masked follower he was when he first broke in with the Wyatt Family in 2015. Strowman has transformed into a monster with a mouth, t-shirts, and his own catchphrase.

While Braun has become a big star in his own right, he has not quite achieved that 'top guy' status that Bray seems to be rocketing towards. Pairing them up and properly showcasing Braun within the stable would be a great way for him to ride The Fiend's coattails to the top.

When executed properly, stables are very effective with multiple stars. If we think extremely hard, I'm sure we could come up with at least one stable comprised of multiple stars that did okay for itself...

"I don't know brother, can you think of any?"

The fans would buy-in and it would keep Braun at the forefront on a more consistent basis. I don't know if anyone has noticed, but he's relatively irrelevant a lot more than a man of his stature ought to be. Having Braun doing the dirty deeds of The Fiend would keep his spittle-covered facial hair shining brightly in the spotlight.

#3 The characters parted amicably

During the 2016 brand split, Braun Strowman was drafted away from the Wyatt Family over to Raw and that was that. Bray Wyatt would replace him with Randy Orton and Braun would begin his own journey.

There have been some interesting developments recently on Twitter between the two former Wyatt family members.

In response to news that Bray Wyatt would be facing the winner of Strowman/Rollins, Braun had this to say:

As you can see, he's still acknowledging Wyatt as his teacher. It could be a hint at his allegiance. Bray responded to Braun's threat by referring to him as "baby boy," the same term he used for Rowan.

Teaming up with The Fiend could help eliminate some of the light-hearted elements we've seen arise in The Monster Among Men and help take the character to a darkness we've yet to see materialize from him.

#2 Brains and Braun

The Fiend could use his superior powers of persuasion to cause his monstrous stablemates to commit heinous acts of violence like shoving a lighting rig over on someone. Bray Wyatt's twisted mind can come with awful things for Braun Strowman's giant muscles to carry out.

Wyatt has always been a master manipulator and Strowman has previous experience being manipulated by Bray. Now that Bray has taken an even more twisted turn to the dark side, there will be no limit to the destruction Braun could inflict with The Fiend pulling his strings!

Braun is the perfect man for this job. He has already attempted over the top acts of violence on other Superstars in the past. In case you've forgotten, please consider the video below:

#1 The Fiend vs The Monster

What better way to build to a potential WrestleMania main-event type match? Braun Strowman and Bray Wyatt run wild over the WWE roster for a while, then eventually they realize there's only enough room in hell for one of them.

Putting Bray and Braun back together would help establish them both as unstoppable, maniacal forces in the WWE and at the same time, elevating each other's star power. There are so many possibilities for great storytelling here.

Bray is obviously having an internal conflict with the actions of The Fiend, this could open the door for Braun to slowly become the manipulator. What a story that could be! Nearly 700 pounds of flesh involved in a psychological thriller.

Perhaps The Fiend uses Braun for a while then decides to dispose of him, however, he grossly underestimates the power of his monster. No matter which way you go, in the end, it makes a lot of sense to go ahead and re-unite Bray and Braun soon, and it appears it will be at the expense of Seth Rollins.

There could be many shenanigans that set up a triple threat between Seth Rollins, Braun Strowman, and Bray Wyatt at Hell in a Cell. If that is the case, we could see Rollins trapped in a cage with a re-united Wyatt Family, and that would spell certain disaster for Seth Rollins.
