What twists and turns await in June?
What twists and turns await in June?

May was a historic month for professional wrestling. Besides a stellar show at Money in the Bank, we saw the debut of AEW. Tony Khan's new company took wrestling world by storm with Double or Nothing.

Moreover, WWE also introduced the Wild Card Rule on RAW and SmackDown Live. June will be an important month for Vince McMahon's billion dollar company as two pay-per-views are scheduled to take place. Since AEW's Fyter Fest is also set to happen this month, WWE will be aiming to put the best foot forward at Super ShowDown and Stomping Grounds.

The fans are eagerly waiting for Super ShowDown, where some big names will return to the squared circle. Stomping Grounds is the brand new PPV and the company will aiming to make a mark. As a result, we are expected to see some unforeseen surprises this month.

Here we discuss four shockers WWE could be planning in June.

#4 Lacey Evans could dethrone Becky Lynch

Lacey Evans started a feud with Becky Lynch after WrestleMania and the rivalry has been exciting. The two women locked horns at Money in the Bank where Lynch defeated Evans. However, the Sassy Southern Belle helped Charlotte Flair to beat The Man at the XL Center.

Lacey Evans has established herself as one of the top heels of the women's division. The Sassy Southern Belle creates nuclear heat, while Lynch is a crowd favourite. Following their bout at Money in the Bank last month, they are likely to continue the feud this month.

Since the memorable main event at the Showcase of Immortals, Lynch has certainly lost her momentum. Evans, on the other hand, is climbing the top of the ladder of women's division. Considering the storyline of RAW Women's Championship, the two women might square off at Stomping Grounds this month. It will be astonishing if the Sassy Southern Belle manages to dethrone The Man and they could continue the feud until Summerslam.

#3 The new Bray Wyatt could make his in-ring return

There is no denying that Bray Wyatt has been the talking point of RAW in the last few weeks. The former WWE Champion made his TV return after coming back from a hiatus. Wyatt returned with a completely new gimmick which is contrasting to his old one. Wyatt's Firefly House has garnered the attention of WWE Universe.

Though a large number of fans anticipated that Wyatt might have ditched his dark side, he is likely to have a split personality. The former WWE Champion revealed his dark side in the Firefly House and it looked frightening.

Following a number of Firefly House segments last month, Wyatt could make his long-awaited return to squared circle this month. Judging by the build-up of Wyatt's new character in the recent months, Vince McMahon might have big plans for the former WWE Champion.

The new Bray Wyatt is not likely to face a top Superstar in his first feud. He could build some good momentum after a dominating a mid-carder before facing an elite Superstar of the company.

#2 Big E could turn on Kofi Kingston

Will they split?
Will they split?

Big E retuned from an injury last week when it was celebrated by New Day members. Big E was attacked in the backstage area on the same night and he revealed that Kevin Owens was the attacker. However, the former Universal Champion denied Big E's claim. It is ambiguous who attacked Big E but we could see a major surprise this month.

Dolph Ziggler is scheduled to face Kofi Kingston at WWE Super ShowDown. Ziggler and Big E had a long history as the Big E made his main roster debut alongside Dolph Ziggler and AJ Lee. Considering Big E and Ziggler had a close association in the past, it will not be surprising if the former joins hands with the latter.

We saw The Shield broke up when Rollins turned heel. They went on to achieve colossal success as singles competitors. Kingston is already the WWE Champion and Big E is ready to become a top star of WWE. Hence, we could see an astounding rivalry between Kofi Kingston and Big E if the latter turns heel.

#1 Kane could help Undertaker beat Goldberg

A mega clash will take place in Saudi Arabia next week when Goldberg will lock horns with Undertaker. The two legendary Superstars never locked horns in the past and it will be their first bout in the squared circle. Goldberg will return to the ring after two years, while Undertaker will fight after eight months.

Both Undertaker and Goldberg are the two biggest names of the company. The two men also held two famous winning streaks of professional wrestling. Hence, it will be interesting to see who walks out with a victory in Jeddah.

A clean victory for either of the two Superstars could hurt their legacies. Therefore, we might see a twist at Super ShowDown. Kane and Undertaker teamed up to take on DX at Crown Jewel and it will not surprising if the Big Red Machine returns to help his brother.

Goldberg and Kane have a history as the two men faced each other during the first tenure of the former Universal Champion. Considering their rivalry in the past, Kane's involvement cannot be ruled out. The company could extend the feud till Summerslam if Kane helps the Phenom to pin Goldberg at Super ShowDown.
