More than four months after her last appearance at WrestleMania 35, Sasha Banks finally made her return to the WWE ring this past week on RAW. She confronted Natalya, first displaying affection, but soon after turning on her and getting into a heated brawl with the RAW Women's Champion, Becky Lynch.

Last week at SummerSlam, The Man convincingly defeated Natalya in her home country Canada, and the recent developments on RAW are hinting towards her next rival being none other than the returning Sasha Banks. And the match could happen as soon as the next month's PPV, Clash of Champions.

In this article, let's take a look at the four reasons why Sasha Banks should dethrone Becky Lynch to become the RAW Women's Champion. Feel free to share your views and opinions in the comments section below.

#4 Sasha has a lot of momentum on her side

The biggest news coming out of the WrestleMania weekend was not Seth Rollins slaying the Beast or Becky Lynch winning both the titles in the historic main event, it was Sasha Banks walking out of the company following her loss.

The internet was buzzing to know what exactly went down backstage after WrestleMania was over. Even Sasha kept everyone guessing by posting cryptic messages on her social media. Not long ago, fans were wondering whether she will join the newest rivals All Elite Wrestling. But all those talks came to an end with her return on the RAW after SummerSlam.

The arena erupted when the familiar theme of Banks "Sky's the limit" hit the stage, and why not, as fans love The Boss. As much as Banks is an adorable babyface, her heel side just feels so natural. Who knows, this new heel Sasha might reveal a lot of backstage secrets about her hiatus on-screen in the coming weeks to blur the difference between reality and kayfabe.

Her return was one of the most anticipated ones this year, and now that she finally has come back with a bang, she's probably the hottest thing in the women's division of RAW. How excited are you to see the two horsewomen taking on each other?

#3 Lack of other major stars on RAW

It's BOSS TIME!
It's BOSS TIME!

With the brand switch of Superstars like Bayley and Ember Moon to SmackDown, RAW's women's division was looking very shallow. Becky Lynch's last two feuds with Lacey Evans and Natalya were a clear indication that the Red Brand is missing a Superstar who could give some solid competition to The Man.

She was way more popular than the Canadian native Natalya in her home country, and even the fans knew there was no way she was losing the title at SummerSlam. How does WWE give us a RAW Women's title match that can make us think that Becky might lose it? Enter, Sasha Banks!

Before the Irish Lasskicker turned into this avatar, it was Sasha who was considered a bigger superstar than her. And even today, if you take a look at the women's roster of RAW, she seems to be the only superstar with enough credibility to take the title off Becky.

#2 Becky's title reign hasn't been very exciting

The spark hasn't been there lately!
The spark hasn't been there lately!

Becky Lynch was the hottest thing going into WrestleMania earlier this year. Her rebellious character was ruling the hearts of the fans who were deeply invested in every small thing that she did. Unfortunately, the same hasn't been the case with her title reign so far.

While she's not the one to blame, maybe it's time for a change in the dynamics. Banks vs Lynch has all the ingredients of a blockbuster feud and losing the title here won't hurt Lynch's credibility. The two can stretch their feud for multiple PPVs, with a decider finally taking place inside Hell in a Cell.

We've seen previously what these women can do when left inside a vicious structure, and that could certainly bring back the somewhat lost aggression in the women's division.

#1 Vince wants to keep her happy

She is a big asset to the company!
She is a big asset to the company!

While Sasha Banks did solve her conflicts with the company and came back, the same wasn't the case some time ago. With Vince McMahon himself meeting with the star to convince her to come back, it is clear how important the Chairman considers her to be important for the company.

There have been many cases of WWE superstars showing displeasure on social media and teasing a leave from the company, especially due to the emergence of All Elite Wrestling. The Revival did it, and they became RAW Tag Team Champions. It's simple logic for Vince - give them the glory to make them stay. The same could be the case with Banks.

While she has returned to the company, we don't know how Vince convinced her to do so, and there reasons to believe that a title reign could have been in the offer. Defeating the biggest Women's sensation of this year, Becky Lynch would be a huge way to put over Banks and make her a huge star.

For once, fans won't be angry to see someone like Sasha defeat the champion that they love to cheer so much for. The unintentional chair-shot controversy has gotten way more eyes on this rivalry than it would have gotten without it, and this seems to be just the beginning of the return of Sasha Banks.
