4 things we could see on SmackDown LIVE this week

The SmackDown LIVE after Clash of Champions will be a highly anticipated show. With three weeks left for the FOX move in October, the Blue Brand will be aiming to do their best in the remaining three episodes.

All the SmackDown LIVE titles were on the line at Clash of Champions. The Revival became the new Tag Team Champions, pinning The New Day. The Intercontinental Champion Shinsuke Nakamura retained his title, while Bayley also remained champion with a victory over Charlotte Flair. Kofi Kingston is still the WWE Champion and it was the biggest victory of his title reign.

The next SmackDown LIVE will be held at State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia. The storylines for Hell in a Cell will start developing this week. Here we discuss four things WWE could be planning on SmackDown LIVE this week.

#4. A match between Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon is made official for Hell in a Cell

Kevin Owens and Shane McMahon are engaged in a rivalry, but they didn't have a match at Clash of Champions. It's clear that these two men will lock horns at Hell in a Cell. Owens already defeated Shane once at SummerSlam and the rematch could be made official on SmackDown LIVE this week.

Last week, Owens was fired by Shane McMahon, as the latter failed to defeat Chad Gable. Owens, who was the guest referee, made a fast count, taking revenge for his King of the Ring tournament loss. However, Shane made it a 2-out-of-3 Falls Match, but still couldn't avoid a loss.

Even after getting fired, Owens is expected to return this week. If the Prize Fighter challenges Shane at Hell in a Cell, the match could be get finalized this week, and the former Universal Champion could put his job on the line again.

#3 Aleister Black gets a new challenger

Who is next for Black?

Aleister Black is one Superstar who should be utilized more on SmackDown LIVE. The Dutch Destroyer doesn't show up on TV every week and he was not part of Clash of Champions. With Hell in a Cell around the corner, Black should be added to the match card. His last pay-per-view match was at SummerSlam, where he defeated Cesaro.

The Blue Brand has several talented Superstars, who could face the Dutch Destroyer. One such option could be Andrade, as he is currently without an opponent. Andrade was part of the King of Ring tournament, but failed to clear the second round. Given the adroitness of Black and Andrade between the ropes, they could tear the house down in every single match.

#2 Charlotte Flair gets a rematch

Charlotte Flair had a forgettable night at Clash of Champions, where she lost to Bayley within a few minutes. The Queen performed in front of her hometown fans and was humiliated by the SmackDown Women's Champion. As a matter of fact, the match had an unusual ending, as Bayley took a shortcut to get the job done.

Bayley's persona is currently baffling after her recent association with Sasha Banks. While it looked like she turned heel a few weeks ago, she still acts like a babyface. The Hugger showed her bad side at Clash of Champions where she used the exposed turnbuckle to defeat The Queen.

Bayley and Charlotte already confronted each other on RAW this week, when The Queen hit Bayley with a steel chair. It's clear that rivalry will continue and the rematch could get confirmed on SmackDown LIVE this week. The Blue Brand doesn't have a bigger challenger than the nine-time Women's Champion, so it is likely to be a long feud.

#1 Daniel Bryan joins hands with Roman Reigns

Facing Erick Rowan at Clash of Champions, Roman Reigns suffered his second defeat of this year. The former Wyatt Family member picked up the biggest victory of his career with the help of Luke Harper. The storyline has taken an interesting turn and 'The Big Dog' has two huge challenges in front of him.

While Harper made his long-awaited comeback, Daniel Bryan wasn't present at Spectrum Center. In fact, Bryan also skipped SmackDown LIVE last week, after getting decimated by his former tag team partner, Erick Rowan. Bryan and Rowan are no longer a team and it would not be surprising if Bryan teams up with Roman Reigns.

If Bryan joins hands with Reigns, he will not be a heel anymore, considering Reigns is probably the biggest babyface of SmackDown LIVE. Also, it could lead a to tag team bout in the future. Although Bryan has been incredible as a bad guy, he became a top guy of the company as a face. However, Bryan could also earn Reigns' trust, before he turns on him. It could lead to a titanic clash at Hell in a Cell or Survivor Series.
