Monday Night RAW had some fortuitous incidents this week as Roman Reigns and Batista returned to Vince McMahon's billion dollar company. It is a gigantic boost for WWE before WrestleMania 35 which is just one month away. It is the WrestleMania season, and the Raw episodes are expected to be stupendous in the next few weeks.

Roman Reigns graced the squared circle after four months. He opened the Raw last week as he was scheduled to provide an update on his battle with leukaemia. The Big Dog announced that the deadly disease is in remission and he will be able to compete in the squared circle while Batista closed the show when he attacked the birthday boy Ric Flair. Batista spoiled the birthday party of Ric Flair and sent a message to Triple H.

The next Raw is set to take place at Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia. Since it is the final Raw before Fastlane, the elation is sky-high. Some title matches could be announced next week, and some blockbuster matches are expected to take place in Philadelphia.

Here we discuss four things WWE could be planning for the Raw next week ( 4 March 2019):-

#4 A new opponent for Finn Balor

The Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor
The Intercontinental Champion Finn Balor

Finn Balor won his maiden Intercontinental title at Elimination Chamber. Balor defeated Lio Rush and Bobby Lashley in a handicap match. As a matter of fact, Balor also defended the title this week when he beat Lio Rush. With Lashley involved with McIntyre and Corbin, he is not likely to have a rematch at Fastlane.

Balor could get a new opponent at Fastlane, and it could be revealed next week on Raw. Several talented superstars are deserving of getting a title shot against Balor. The new NXT call-ups are immensely talented. Aleister Black or Ricochet could be an ideal challenger to face the current Intercontinental champion.

Moreover, EC3 has not been used significantly after a mini-feud with Dean Ambrose. Therefore, EC3 could be a great candidate to face Balor.

#3 Triple H could confront Batista

Batista returned to WWE after five years, and he certainly made a statement this week. While several legends and the Raw locker room were preparing to celebrate the birthday party of Ric Flair, Batista crashed the party after assaulting the former WWE champion. Batista called out Triple H after the attack. The segment suggests that the two men might lock horns at the Grandest Stage of Them All.

Batista teased a match with Triple H when he had a face-off with the Game on the 1000th episode of Smackdown Live. The six-time WWE champion bragged that Triple H never managed to beat him at the Show of Shows. Batista might grace the ring after five years if the two men collide in New Jersey.

Batista and Triple H had an astounding rivalry in 2005 when the two superstars main-evented WrestleMania 21. In fact, it was one of the best rivalries of the last decade. The WWE Universe could witness the same scenario at Metlife stadium, and the two superstars might confront each other on next Raw.

#2 The Shield could send a message to Brock Lesnar

With the return of Roman Reigns, the Shield has a gigantic possibility to reunite for one last time. As a matter of fact, we got a glimpse of Shield reunion this week when Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins saved Dean Ambrose from a 4-on-1 beatdown. Reigns subsequently speared Drew McIntyre. Though it was not a proper Shield reunion this week, the stable is expected to reunite next week.

Considering Seth Rollins has the biggest match of his career at WrestleMania 35, Shield could be an excellent backup for Rollins. Though the Universal champion Brock Lesnar is not expected to show up before Fastlane, the Shield could send a message to the Beast Incarnate. They could attack Paul Heyman next week.

The Shield's last reunion was last year when they prevented Braun Strowman to cash in the Money In the Bank against Roman Reigns. There is no denying that they could play a pivotal role in the Universal championship match at WrestleMania 35. Since Ambrose is set to leave the company after the Show of Shows, it could be the last Shield reunion in a long time.

#1 Becky Lynch could be announced to face Charlotte Flair at Fastlane

Ronda Rousey left the title in the ring
Ronda Rousey left the title in the ring

The Raw women's title match has become exciting, and the feud is developing gradually for the Grandest Stage of Them All. Though Becky Lynch was suspended, she attacked Ronda Rousey this week on Raw. As a result, Rousey demanded to face Lynch, and she left the Raw women's title in the ring.

The storyline suggests that the Raw women's championship match will become a triple threat match at the Show of Shows. Rousey is scheduled to face Charlotte Flair in New Jersey, but Stephanie McMahon could give another chance to Becky Lynch.

Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch could be announced to lock horns at Fastlane and Lynch might get added to the Raw women's title match if she manages to beat Charlotte. Though Lynch has a kayfabe injury, she could be ready for a match at Fastlane.
