A new month has arrived, and WWE is gearing up for the next pay-per-view, Clash of Champions. The first RAW of the month, which is set to take place in Baltimore, Maryland, should be monumental this week. With a number of build-ups, WWE could declare some new matches for Clash of Champions.

Last week, it was a great episode from the Red Brand. Among all the matches, the Eight-Team Tag Team Turmoil match stood out from the rest, as a total of eight teams were part of it.

Dolph Ziggler and Robert Roode, who formed a new team, were winners of the match, to punch their tickets for Clash of Champions.

Sasha Banks competed for the first time in four months and she defeated Natalya. Also, Bayley continued her impressive run, following a victory over one half of the Women's Tag Team Champions, Nikki Cross.

In the two King of the Ring matches on RAW, Drew McIntyre suffered a shock loss against Ricochet, while Baron Corbin beat The Miz. AJ Styles managed to retain the US Championship, as Braun Strowman was disqualified by the referee.

A lot of exciting things could happen on the Red Brand this week. After teasing a retirement, Rey Mysterio will return to RAW this week. The fans shouldn't miss out the two King of the Ring second-round matches on the Red Brand as well.

Let's discuss four possible things we could see on RAW this week.

#4 The Street Profits finally make their in-ring debut on RAW

The Street Profits
The Street Profits

The Street Profits have been part of the main roster for a while, but they are yet to perform in the squared circle. Two months ago, Angelo Dawkins and Montez Ford appeared for the first time on the main roster. Since then, they have been producing interesting backstage segments, as they also hyped up the King of the Ring tournament last week.

The Street Profits, who were the NXT Tag Team Champions, dropped the belts to The Undisputed Era last week. In the main event of NXT, Kylie O'Reilly and Bobby Fish beat Dawkins and Ford to win the NXT tag team titles. It was a rematch from NXT Takeover: Toronto, where The Street Profits retained the twin belts.

After losing the titles, the Street Profits could compete for the first time on the main roster. They could either take on a lower card tag-team or two local wrestlers.

#3 Drew McIntyre dismantles Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio is set to return to RAW this week after he was on the verge of retirement, but The Master Of the 619's son Dominick convinced him to continue his wrestling journey. When the former World Champion will make his comeback to the squared circle, he is expected to find out his next challenger, who might start a new feud with the Master Of The 619.

Dominick's inclusion in various storylines, since Mysterio's return to WWE this year, has grabbed the attention of the fans and he might make his in-ring debut soon.

Mysterio's rivalry with Andrade is done and dusted, moreover, the former NXT Champion is still part of the King if the Ring tournament.

After a shocking exit from King of the Ring, Drew McIntyre is searching for a new opponent for Clash of Champions and there is no better way than to target the Ultimate Underdog of WWE.

Since making his return to WWE, McIntyre has taken apart several big names of the company. To get back on track after the departure from King of the Ring, a feud with Rey Mysterio could be highly beneficial for the Scottish Psychopath.

#2 The RAW Women's Championship match is made official

The return of Sasha Banks made a headline, following the night after SummerSlam. The Boss went after Natalya and Becky Lynch and turned heel.

The villainous side is a delight for the fans and she has given much-needed reinforcement to the women's division, as the departure of Ronda Rousey left a big void.

Since the brawl between Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks two weeks, the two women are yet to have a face-off. The Man is certainly fuming after the brutal beat down from The Boss, which opened the gate for a rivalry. Even though Lynch and Banks haven't confronted each other, they have taken digs at each other in the past couple of weeks.

The RAW Women's Championship match is not official yet, but WWE could confirm the match for Clash of Champions on RAW this week.

Natalya, who is also included in this rivalry, is unlikely to continue further. With just two weeks left for the pay-per-view, it's high time for Lynch and Banks to have a face-off. The two women are gifted on the microphone, and we could expect eye-catching promos, during the course of this rivalry.

#1 Ricochet and Baron Corbin win their respective King of the Ring quarter-final matches

The second-round matches of King of the Ring tournament will commence on RAW. A total of sixteen Superstars were in the first round, but only eight men are left to compete for the crown. While the Red Brand will host two quarterfinals, the other two matches will be held on SmackDown Live this week.

Ricochet, who overcame a strong contender like Drew McIntyre, will square off with Samoa Joe. The Samoan Submission Machine defeated Cesaro to qualify for the second round, and the match between Ricochet and Joe should be a sensational battle.

Given the nature of the King of the tournament this year, it is hard to pick a winner between these two stout-hearted warriors, however, there is no doubt that Ricochet has the momentum, before heading to RAW.

Baron Corbin, on the other hand, will take on Cedric Alexander, who pinned Sami Zayn in the first round.

The Lone Wolf will be a top pick, as he earned a significant victory over The Miz. Knowing the recent performances of Cedric Alexander, even if, Corbin qualifies for the semi-finals, Cedric Alexander will go toe-to-toe with the former US Champion.
