4 Wrestlers John Cena is Friends With and 4 He Probably Isn't

John Cena is no stranger to the World of Pro-Wrestling. He is 16-time World Champion matching Ric Flair's record for the most World Championships. Cena made his WWE TV debut in 2002, answering an open challenge made by the none other than Olympic Gold Medalist-Kurt Angle.

In the match, the two delivered the performance of their respective careers. One can even remember that after the match Cena was praised by The Undertaker.

Since then The Franchise Player has gone to become the only superstar who has become the face of WWE for almost a decade. While doing all of this he has made some friends and bitter enemies.

In the company, there are several superstars that he likes and merely some others that he probably doesn't. So, today in this list we're going to take a look at those wrestlers who are friends with John Cena and a list of superstars he probably dislikes.

#4 Friend - Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe might be John Cena's first friend when he started his career in Pro-Wrestling. Both men knew one another other for a long time from when they started working together back at UPW (Ultimate Pro Wrestling) in the year 2000.

It's probably been 18 years since both have faced off against each other in the ring. Cen went to become 'The Face of WWE' for almost straight 15-years while Joe was seen going in his own separate way-TNA.

In an interview, Joe said that himself and Cena use to travel together on road and it was fun having his company around and continues to say that it will be a pleasure to face off with him in the same ring after almost 18-years (Which you can see below). Considering finally Joe is now in WWE, he and John have been sometimes spotted together roaming around.

#4 Dislikes - Ryback

Ryback made his WWE debut in 2006 and departed in 2016. In the meantime, he had some remarkable feuds with the likes of Wyatt Family. After getting released from WWE Ryback made some comments against the 16-time World Champion which he would not have like for sure.

In an interview, The Big Guy made some hateful comments against Cena in which he said-- He doesn't like Cena and probably Cena does express the same. He even went too far to say that Cena buries the new talents that come to the main roster and also he's just a poison to this Pro-Wrestling industry and he blamed Cena for the ending of Alex Riley's WWE career.

Though after listening to these comments Cena didn't express his feelings against Ryback, he probably wants to. And all of this possibly lead Cena to an extent that he started to dislike him

#3 Friend - Chris Jericho

Chris Jericho and John Cena started their wrestling career in WWE in the year 2000. Since then the two have gone to become most polarising superstars in WWE history. Though the two have been booked into no. of feuds from time to time, that doesn't take away the fact that the two share a friendly relationship off the camera.

And if you're following Y2J's podcast as of late then you would probably know how good friends both superstars are. On the podcast, Jericho told one of their craziest story--himself and Cena got too drunk in Alaska that The Champ took the Ayatollah of Rock n Rolla back to his home as they arrived Jericho went straight to sleep but Cena stayed awake all night long list to Jericho's music collection.

If that doesn't make them friends what will?

Since then two the two shares a mutual respect for one another. And no matter if it's regarding working in the ring or having fun in the backstage area or having respect for this business. The two were, are and always will be one of the best buddies anyone has ever seen in this business of Sports-Entertainment.

#3 Dislikes - Brock Lensar

Brock Lesnar and Cena had their first WWE feud back in 2003. At that time Cena was World Champion and Lesnar was the challenger. Their Championship match took place at Backlash in which Lesnar came out atop with the Championship. But during the match, some personal heat was seen between the two superstars.

At the time, Cena was trying to build his place in WWE and Lesnar was looking to become the top guy in the company. But in the meantime, some beef was noted between them not only on-screen but also behind the scenes. It was reported that Lesnar doesn't like Cena and probably he's not his fan.

But when both superstars returned once again in WWE their feud was on again in which we saw some real moments. I, guess the heat between the two added some more action to their feud which was only good for the business.

Seeing how both superstars are in the different way the issues between them probably haven't dissolved till yet.

#2 Friend - Sting

An opportunity was given to both men Cena and The Icon-Sting to become friends with one another in the year 2015 when a feud was going on between The Champ and Rollins himself. When Sting was introduced in the rivalry between Cena and Rollins, at the same time The icon was looking forward to winning his First WWE Championship. Due to which he got involved in their feud but was failed to do so.

Their rivalry gave WWE Universe an opportunity to witness two faces--Sting of WCW and Cena of WWE--fighting side by side which was filled with memorable moments. Both of these superstars have more similarities than differences like- in their career, they have mostly remained faces.

This day was proven 'The Day' for the starting of Cena and Sting' Friendship which hopefully still remains in the heart of these two fellow superstars till now while the latter is busy in his acting career while the former is busy in his personal business.

#2 Dislikes - Mickie James

Mickey James and John Cena are no stranger to one another. A long time ago, the two superstars were secretly dating while Cena was married to his first wife. After the relationship came publicly Cena's marriage was ended in a way that he wouldn't have wanted. Soon after James and Cena's relationship was over due to some reasons.

After it, Cena went to get married for the second time to his high-school friend Liz Huberdeau. Due to this Cena started ignoring James but the same was not done by six-times Women's Champion. As she wasn't able to cope with Cena she was drafted to Smackdown and was released soon after.

In an interview, Mickie told that when they broke up she was mad at Cena and couldn't handle the same. Listening to what's was going on then and Mickie was interfering in Cena in-ring career moving her to Smackdown maybe was a right choice. Believing how angry Cena would have been on her after this situation.

#1 Friend - AJ Styles

AJ Styles faced off John Cena first time in his career in 2016. During their Phenomenal feud, both superstars delivered the matches that no WWE can hate. Though they have faced each other during that time, every time they clashed they brought something new which made every fan to want more piece of it.

But during their rivalry, the two got a chance to know each other for the first time and it seemed that the two really gotten along. Though both men have respect for one another before they met, now they share a mutual friendship after their unforgettable bout.

It was because of their rivalry that made both men to bring the best out of one another every time they met. And guess what, this all possibly leaded Styles to raise his level as the WWE Champion and makes him say--Smackdown Live is The House That A.J Styles Built.

#1 Dislikes - C.M Punk

CM Punk will go down in the WWE history as one the controversial star. He delivered a promo a few years ago that created a lot of buzz around the world--better known as Pipe Bomb Promo. In the promo, CM Punk expressed out his feelings against the company and its several superstars including 16-time World Champion, John Cena.

There he went on to say (not directly, but probably towards Cena) he's not getting an opportunity because of stars this company had. They are doing nothing but holding him off. Listening to these harsh comments made by Punk, Cena must have gotten angry might also want to punch him in the face.

Also, before this scenario happened the two faced off each other. In their feud, all the promo that was delivered by these superstars were always gotten personal and reaches to it's highest peak. Seeing all these things that happened between these two great superstars, Cena must not have liked him since the day the two came first-time across to one another in the same ring.
