4 WWE Superstars of RAW who could be heading to Smackdown Live after Superstar Shake-Up next week

The Superstat Shake-up should be exciting
The Superstat Shake-up should be exciting

The Superstar Shake-up is an exciting part of Vince McMahon's billion dollar company, which happens annually after the Showcase of Immortals. WWE already announced in January that the Superstar Shake-Up would take place one week after WrestleMania 35. The post-WrestleMania storylines become interesting after the superstars switch brands. The superstars already appeared in different brands on RAW and SmackDown Live this week.

The RAW after WrestleMania had a shocking development when the newly crowned WWE Champion Kofi Kingston appeared with the New Day. Moreover, the Bar interrupted the main event of the flagship show.

We saw a similar scenario on Smackdown Live - Braun Strowman had a brawl with the US Champion Samoa Joe when the Monster Among Men made a shocking appearance. Drew McIntyre also showed up to participate in the main event.

Since WWE hyped the Superstar Shake-Up, fans have been waiting eagerly. Several superstars manage to reinvent themselves after a brand switch. Here we discuss four superstars from RAW who could switch brands next week.

#4 Jinder Mahal

Jinder Mahal could be an unpopular choice here, but he could gain some of his lost momentum back. It is a shame how the former WWE Champion has fallen after he was traded to RAW during the Superstar Shake-Up last year.

Mahal's fortune altered when he re-signed with the company. The Modern Day Maharaja had colossal success in 2017 when he became the WWE World Champion. With an improved physique, Mahal became the top guy of the blue brand, holding the title for 170 days.

Mahal subsequently became the United States Champion, but he has not been able to maintain his push on the red brand. Though Mahal has turned into a mid-carder, he could reinvent his character after the Superstar Shake-Up.

#3 Elias

Elias is undeniably an under-utilized superstar who could benefit from a brand switch. Considering his charisma and good mic skills, he could alter his fate on SmackDown Live. Elias did not have a match at WrestleMania 35, but was part of an entertaining segment with John Cena.

Following the Showcase of Immortals, Elias was interrupted by the Undertaker. Judging by the timing of Undertaker's appearance, Elias could be The Deadman's opponent for June's Saudi Arabia show. Undertaker and Elias could continue their rivalry on SmackDown Live if the latter changes brands next week. Moreover, Undertaker has been an integral part of the blue brand in the past.

Without a shadow of a doubt, Elias has the ability to engage the WWE Universe and is swift in the squared circle. Several underrated superstars obtained notable success on SmackDown Live. Elias certainly has World Championship potential, which he may begin to explore further after a brand swap.

#2 Finn Balor

Finn Balor is not a surprising entrant here, and he is a leading candidate for switching brands next week. Balor is the current Intercontinental Champion who reclaimed the belt at the Show of Shows. Considering that Balor has been part of the red brand since the re-introduction of the brand split in 2016, he might benefit from a change of scenery.

After Braun Strowman's attack on Samoa Joe on SmackDown, the United States champion might get traded to RAW to feud with The Monster Among Men. It is not common to have the Intercontinental Championship and the US Championship on the same show, which increases the odds of Balor heading to SmackDown Live.

Considering Balor has faced the majority of the superstars of RAW, we could watch fresh feuds for him on the blue brand. Moreover, Balor might get in the World Title picture after the Intercontinental Title reign. There is no denying that Balor was not utilized ideally on RAW, but it could be different on SmackDown Live, which is called the Land of Opportunity.

#1 Drew McIntyre

The Scottish Psychopath could blossom into the top heel in the company on SmackDown Live

Drew McIntyre hinted at a brand switch when he showed up on SmackDown Live this week. The Scottish Psychopath teamed up with The Bar to take on The New Day. Previously, McIntyre had an impressive rivalry with Roman Reigns at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Though he lost the battle, he has created buzz after dominating the other two members of the Shield in the weeks leading up to WrestleMania.

McIntyre returned to main roster last year after a successful stint in NXT. The former NXT Champion had a fruitful time on RAW since his arrival, and he established himself as an intimidating heel of the red brand. Surprisingly, McIntyre was not present on RAW following his loss.

Considering McIntyre confronted the WWE Champion and the other two New Day members, the Scottish Psychopath could turn out to be the next challenger for Kofi Kingston. Already an effective heel, McIntyre and Kofi could engage in a memorable rivalry.
