4 WWE Superstars who could help Roman Reigns against the reunited Bludgeon Brothers

Harper is back.
Harper is back.

At Clash Of Champions, Luke Harper returned to the WWE and helped Erick Rowan pick up a huge win over Roman Reigns. Aside from a match against Dominik Dijakovic during WrestleMania weekend, as well as an appearance in the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, Harper has been absent from WWE programming for over a year. But now, here he is, making a huge impact and reuniting with his multiple-time tag team partner.

So after weeks of fans clamoring for Luke Harper to be involved in the Roman Reigns "Whodunnit" angle, here he is. These two are set to wreak havoc on SmackDown Live, if they do stay there following the WWE Draft in October. However, they have made an enemy out of the Big Dog and this Big Dog is not going to lie down for long. Reigns will fight back against Harper and Rowan, but he will need some help if he is to take on the two bearded monsters.

Here are four WWE Superstars who could come to Roman Reigns' aid in his feud with Luke Harper and Erick Rowan.

#4 The Undertaker

These two have teamed together before.
These two have teamed together before.

The Undertaker has already helped Roman Reigns out once this year, to take care of Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre at Extreme Rules. It is evident that the two share a healthy respect for one another, having faced each other in the main event of WrestleMania 33.

The Deadman has made quite a few appearances on WWE TV this year and will likely make a few more, possibly to build towards whatever match he will have at the next Saudi Arabia show.

There is an outside chance that 'Taker and Reigns will join forces again to face Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. The 7-time world champion does have a history with Harper and Rowan, feuding with the Wyatt Family in the fall of 2015.

The 'Graveyard Dogs' could work together again and feud with the Bludgeon Brothers through the fall. The Undertaker making more appearances on SmackDown would also serve to make Fox happy, so that would be an added bonus.

#3 Seth Rollins

Brothers reunited?
Brothers reunited?

This is purely contingent on whether or not Seth Rollins moves to SmackDown during the WWE Draft. He just defeated Braun Strowman at Clash Of Champions, but the Universal Champion has become a target for the Fiend.

Rollins looks set to defend his title in a Hell in a Cell match against Bray Wyatt's alter-ego at the pay-per-view with the same name and is expected to drop the title to him. Rollins has been on Raw since day one. In fact, he was pick number one for the Red brand and after achieving everything he possibly could on Monday nights, a change could be coming for the Beastslayer.

It isn't out of the question for him to lose the Universal Title at Hell in a Cell before moving over to Friday nights a week later. If that is the case, being Roman Reigns' partner seems like a no brainer. Rollins and Reigns have been tightly knit throughout their WWE careers, except from 2014 to 2017, when the Shield broke up. The two have even been WWE Tag Team Champions together in the past. The pair would be phenomenal opponents for the Bludgeon Brothers. It would also be a lovely call-back to the classics between the Shield and the Wyatt Family in early 2014.

#2 Buddy Murphy

Murphy has earned Roman's respect.
Murphy has earned Roman's respect.

Shifting to a more immediate option on the current SmackDown Live roster, Buddy Murphy could be the one to help Roman Reigns. The Australian grappler was shoved into the storyline as a result of him being spotted during the initial scaffolding attack on the Big Dog.

Murphy had killer matches against both, Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan, showing the WWE universe just how good he actually is. He even picked up a clean victory over Bryan. Murphy also seems to have turned face, or is in the process of doing so, after getting bullied by Bryan and Erick Rowan.

Reigns himself showed the former Cruiserweight Champion respect on Twitter following their match. Add in the fact that Murphy shook Ali's hand after losing to him in the King of the Ring tournament. All of these suggest that he is set to become a good guy and what better way to cement that than to head into the lion's den with the Big Dog? Remember, Murphy was the one who revealed that Rowan was the one who attacked Roman Reigns, so he would be induced to gain some revenge on the big man.

#1 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan face turn coming?
Daniel Bryan face turn coming?

Honestly, there may only be one likely choice for Roman Reigns' tag team partner against the menacing duo of Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. While Daniel Bryan could still do much more as a heel, him tagging with Reigns to take on his former tag team partner, Rowan, along with Harper is probably the most logical choice. He was viciously attacked by Rowan a couple of weeks ago on SmackDown and while most thought it was a ruse to get one over on the Big Dog, that doesn't seem to be the case.

Bryan has unfinished business with the big bearded ginger and he might not need to necessarily turn fully babyface. He could be a tweener, somewhat similar to the role that Charlotte Flair is currently playing.

Maybe this plot is more complex than any of us thought and Daniel Bryan is revealed to be the mastermind behind everything that has happened. Then Roman can enlist the help of some of the others on this list to try and take down Bryan's evil bearded empire. For the time being, however it seems like the Vegan Warrior could be Roman Reigns' initial partner against the reunited Bludgeon Brothers.

Whether or not Bryan then turns on Reigns afterward is a different story altogether
