All Elite Wrestling star Dustin Rhodes has gone through a lot of ups and downs throughout his career that spans over three decades. The son of WWE Hall of Famer Dusty Rhodes, The Natural has wrestled on various top professional wrestling promotions all over North America such as WCW, WWE, Impact Wrestling and now in AEW.

Dustin Rhodes has also gone through a lot of character changes throughout his career but has been most famous for portraying the eccentric character of Goldust while he was in WWE. The gold-tinted and face-painted character of The Bizarre One has also had his fair share of moments where he often perplexed his opponents with his sudden and often creepy antics.

However, Dustin is now in AEW with his half-brother Cody who not only wrestles for the promotion but is also one of their Executive Vice Presidents. To celebrate his career, we will take a look at five of the best matches from Dustin Rhodes' career.

Back in 1994 at WCW, a young Dustin Rhodes teamed up with his father Dusty Rhodes and the Nasty Boys to take on The Stud Stable (Terry Funk, Arn Anderson, Bunkhouse Buck, and Col. Robert Parker) with Meng, popularly known as Haku at ringside in a WarGames match. This was one of the rarest instances where Dustin teamed up with Dusty Rhodes inside a ring and interestingly enough, the WarGames match was the brainchild of Dusty Rhodes which made the occasion a bit more special.

During this time, Dustin feuded with Col. Robert Parker and Bunkhouse Buck. After Buck brought in Terry Funk and Arn Anderson to beat up Dustin, he responded by bringing in his father Dusty Rhodes, who himself was a former rival of Funk.

Dustin's team won the match after Dusty put on the Figure Four Leglock on Parker to make him tap out.

During this time, Cody went through a gimmick change and got repackaged as Stardust, a being proclaiming to have come from The Fifth Dimension and adopted unconventional mannerisms that were quite similar to that of his brother, Goldust. The team of Goldust & Stardust challenged The Usos for their WWE Tag Team Championship and faced them in the opening match of Night of Champions in 2014.

The Uso brothers, Jimmy and Jey dominated throughout the first-half but when Jey attempted to execute a Samoan Splash on Stardust, he landed on Stardust's raised knees which allowed The Inter-dimensional Oddity to pin him with a roll-up. This was the second time Dustin won the tag team titles with his half-brother.

After Dustin Rhodes made his debut on AEW in a historic match against his half-brother Cody, he was requested by the latter to team up with him to take on Nick & Matt Jackson, The Young Bucks. Dustin agreed and the newly formed team of The Brotherhood squared off against The Young Bucks at Fight for the Fallen.

The battle between the two teams of siblings was an entertaining affair. The Brotherhood had the momentum going on in their favor early on to the match but The Young Bucks soon rallied with counter-attacks.

The match witnessed Cody and Dustin simultaneously executing Shattered Dreams and Final Cut on Matt and Nick Jackson for a near-fall. Nick returned the favor by performing Cody's finisher Cross Rhodes on him. The Bucks then performed the Meltzer Driver on The American Nightmare to win the match. Although Dustin and Cody lost, the match proved that Dustin is still a formidable tag-team wrestler.

In his first match at AEW, Dustin Rhodes took on his half-brother Cody in a match for the decade. Before their match, The American Nightmare continuously mocked his brother by claiming that he was past his prime and should consider retiring from wrestling.

Dustin went back to his 'The Natural' gimmick and made his debut for AEW at Double or Nothing by having his face half-painted in a montage of black and red which he claimed represented life and death and also a similar bodysuit as that he had during his Goldust persona with the same color scheme.

The deeply personal match was brutal and bloody which saw Dustin bleed profusely from his face after he hit himself in an exposed turnbuckle. At one point, it looked like Dustin would come out as the victor but Cody won the match after pinning him with the Cross Rhodes.

After the match, Cody had a change of heart and asked Dustin to team up with him to face The Young Bucks at AEW's next event, Fight for the Fallen. Dustin agreed and the two brothers reconciled by hugging each other in the middle of the ring in an unforgettable wrestling moment.
