WWE’s WrestleMania Backlash is in the history books, but it has paved the way for countless jaw-dropping possibilities on both RAW and SmackDown. Several title feuds came to an end at the pay-per-view, and it's now time for new challengers to go after the gold. But there are also a few superstars looking to climb up the roster and are on the brink of starting a feud that could change their career forever.

In this article, we will take a look at the five biggest feuds that can start on WWE RAW and SmackDown after WrestleMania Backlash.

#1 Roman Reigns vs. Jimmy Uso (WWE SmackDown)

Roman Reigns and Jimmy Uso could kickstart a title feud this week itself

WWE Superstar Jimmy Uso recently returned on SmackDown after a prolonged injury. His arrival on the Blue brand immediately dominated the headlines after he openly refused to acknowledge Roman Reigns as the ‘Tribal Chief’. He questioned the Universal Champion’s authority and called him out for assuming a superior position over The Usos.

Reigns did not take this well and warned Jimmy Uso about the consequences he could face if he didn’t ‘fall back in line’. The two were also involved in an argument that could very well pave the way for another family feud on WWE SmackDown. In fact, Jimmy even stated that he didn’t think that Reigns could defend his title against Cesaro.

An offended Roman Reigns then went for his match without Jey Uso on his side. Uncharacteristic in his title run so far, Reigns picked up a clean win over his challenger. Following the match, Seth Rollins brutally attacked Cesaro, and the two could be involved in a feud in the future. Thus, Reigns will be free to turn his attention towards Jimmy Uso, who has continuously ‘disrespected’ him since returning on WWE SmackDown.

Roman Reigns previously feuded with Jey Uso over the same argument, and now, the latter is his right-hand man. The Head of the Table will look to do the same with Jimmy Uso. On the other hand, Jimmy is adamant about not being reduced to a mere pawn. He might end up challenging Reigns for the title in order to prove that he is just as good as the Universal Champion. It would be interesting to see how the WWE creative will set this feud apart from the previous one.

This storyline will also put Jey Uso in an interesting position on WWE SmackDown. He will have to pick between his stubborn brother, rebelling against The Tribal Chief and an arrogant cousin who essentially established Jey as a main event star. Roman Reigns has been brilliant as a heel, and regardless of the outcome, this storyline will add more to his dominant title reign.

#2 Alexa Bliss vs. Asuka (WWE RAW)

WWE Superstar Alexa Bliss shocked everyone by betraying ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt in his match against Randy Orton at WrestleMania 37. Since then, The Fiend has gone off the television while Bliss has met a new friend – a creepy doll known as Lilly. In their most recent appearance, she revealed that she and Lilly have their sights set on one particular RAW Superstar.

Bliss revealed the aforementioned details on WWE RAW last week when Asuka teamed up with Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke to take on Charlotte Flair, Shayna Baszler, and Nia Jax. It could be any of the six superstars, but there’s a high chance that Bliss will go after Asuka. The latter lost her chance to reclaim the RAW Women’s Championship at WrestleMania Backlash and will now look for other feuds on the Red brand.

Asuka and Bliss were involved in a brief rivalry earlier this year. The latter even managed to pin the Empress of Tomorrow, who was the reigning champion at that time. However, Bliss could now be looking for a chance to settle things with Asuka and send a strong message to the rest of the roster. For the first time in a long while, we will see Alexa Bliss pursuing a feud of her own on WWE RAW, and Asuka would make for a great opponent at this stage.

#3 R-K-Bro vs. AJ Styles and Omos (WWE RAW)

Randy Orton and Riddle have been brilliant together

WWE Superstars Randy Orton and Riddle recently aligned forces and formed a tag team, R-K-Bro. This absurd pairing of two polar opposite superstars has done remarkably well in gaining the attention of the WWE Universe. Fans are excited about the prospect of long-term story-telling on WWE RAW after a very long time.

Most importantly, it is an entirely different direction for Orton, and he has nailed his role. The Viper and Riddle have taken WWE RAW’s tag team division by storm. They recently faced AJ Styles and Omos in an eight-man tag team match, and the in-ring chemistry between the two teams left the fans wanting for more. That rarely happens on Monday nights these days, and it’s a welcome change.

It is possible that we will soon see R-K-Bro involved in a title feud with AJ Styles and Omos. They could compete and prevail in a Gauntlet Match to emerge as credible challengers. This feud would be mutually beneficial for both the teams on WWE RAW. Styles and Omos haven’t done much since they became the tag team champions, and they could use an excellent feud to draw more attention towards their title reign.

#4 Bianca Belair vs. Sasha Banks (WWE SmackDown)

WWE Superstar Bianca Belair successfully defended her SmackDown Women’s Championship against Bayley at WrestleMania Backlash. Both superstars share a long history, and it positively impacted their match on Sunday night. Defeating one of the best WWE Superstars in the women’s division has now put Belair’s title run off to a great start.

She defeated Sasha Banks for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 37. The latter never got her title rematch against Belair. Banks then made it clear that all was not over between them. She is now expected to return and kickstart another feud with Bianca Belair to set up their match at WWE’s next pay-per-view Hell in a Cell.

Considering that they were involved in a title feud right very recently, WWE won’t have to do much to make this storyline intense. However, they do have an opportunity to rework their previous rivalry because it was a little too underwhelming in its overall narration. Both Belair and Banks are incredible inside the ring and have a brilliant command over their respective characters. With the right opportunity, they can deliver one of the most memorable WWE title feuds this year.

#5 Shinsuke Nakamura vs. King Corbin (WWE SmackDown)

This feud can benefit both the WWE Superstars
This feud can benefit both the WWE Superstars

On the final episode of WWE SmackDown before WrestleMania Backlash, we saw a singles bout between Shinsuke Nakamura and King Corbin. The King of Strong Style picked a convincing victory over Corbin and showed glimpses of his old brutal self. Interestingly, after the match, Nakamura took Corbin’s crown and put it over his head.

WWE creative brilliantly used this turn of events to subtlely tease a promising battle of kings on SmackDown. The commentators vehemently discussed Nakamura’s ‘disrespectful actions.’ It has been a while since we have seen either of these two WWE Superstars involved in a compelling rivalry. That could change if they are brought together for a memorable storyline.

No one has challenged Corbin’s authority as the ‘King of the Ring’ since he won that crown. This would be the best way to restore the honor of this esteemed title as well. Most importantly, we could see Nakamura finally getting the attention that he deserves. He has been on the sidelines for far too long, and the WWE creative will have a lot of interesting opportunities to explore once he starts competing actively on SmackDown.
