Tonight on Raw, Bayley shocked the WWE Universe to its core as she turned heel and joined forces with her best friend Sasha Banks. WWE Raw Women's Champion Becky Lynch and SmackDown Live Women's Champion Bayley went toe-to-toe with Alexa Bliss and Nikki Cross in the main event of the night.

The match fell apart when Sasha Banks came out and attacked Lynch. Bayley hinted at stopping her, but then let out an evil smile and began a dastardly attack on a fallen Lynch.

Now, Bayley is all set to face Charlotte Flair at Clash of Champions, with the WWE SmackDown Live Women's title on the line. As of now, both these women are heels going into the match.

This presents an intriguing scenario to the fans and one that hasn't been done much in the past. Let's go back in time and look at 5 greatest "Heel vs Heel" matches in WWE history.

At the time, Kurt Angle was the WWE Champion, and was a heel. Triple H, also a heel, had been dominating the title picture for a year at that point. This was a big match between two top stars of that era, with WWE factoring in the romance angle between Kurt and Stephanie from last year.

The bout was chaotic to say the least, with Trish Stratus, Angle's friend, and Stephanie McMahon fighting at ringside, plus Vince McMahon breaking the fight up due to his storyline affection toward Trish.

Stone Cold also got involved in the end, as he attacked The Game, helping Angle pick up the win and keep the title around his waist. Angle didn't hold the title for long though, as the Rock defeated him at No Way Out 2001 to win the gold.

#4 Edge vs Randy Orton, Raw

By the time 2007 rolled around, Edge and Randy Orton had cemented themselves as the top heels on the WWE main roster. They even went on to form a tag team named Rated RKO, feuding with Shawn Michaels and Triple H in late 2006. The problem here was that these two men had incredibly huge egos, and it was a surprise that they lasted together as long as they did.

At Backlash 2007, John Cena managed to retain his title in a Fatal Four-Way Match against Michaels, Edge, and Orton. Following the PPV, Orton and Edge faced off in a match on Raw, in a rare heel vs heel bout. Both men cheated during the clash, and Orton was busted open. Edge countered the RKO and hit Orton with a thunderous Spear to win the match.

Show was a babyface going into the match, while the other two Superstars were full-fledged heels. The go-home show to the Rumble saw Angle take on JBL in a bout that lasted around 20 minutes. Both men were the top heels on the blue brand at the time.

The rivalry grew further and the two factions faced each other at the PPV. A Sister Abigail helped Wyatt put Reigns down and win the match for his team, in what many think was a match that deserved to take place at WrestleMania 30.
