Will any or all of the questions that await those watching WrestleMania be answered?

On Sunday, April 8th, WWE will feature its 34th edition of WrestleMania. The event may not have a numeric association tied to its name any longer, but that doesn't mean that fans are unaware of how many have taken place.

There has been a steady build to this year's event beginning at this past year's Royal Rumble to where it stands today, but there have been a number of twists and turns along the way. For example, injuries to the likes of Dean Ambrose and Samoa Joe may have changed original plans.

As each week passes, ongoing developments make the picture become clearer for the event. However, for all that clarify, there are still more and more questions that are asked, muddying the waters in the process.

Will Alexa Bliss face consequences for her actions towards Nia Jax? Will The Usos and The New Day have to work together to thwart the efforts of the Bludgeon Brothers? Here are five burning questions heading into WrestleMania 34.

#1 How will the inaugural 'WrestleMania Women's Battle Royal' move past its initial controversy?

While it has been renamed will its initial name change get past the ire of fans?

When the inaugural WrestleMania women's battle royal was announced, it was presented as another first for the women's division (though WWE has had many women's battle royals on its regular television programs in the past).

This time, however, what should have been a momentous occasion was undermined in a manner WWE would rather have not happened. It was initially named the Fabulous Moolah Memorial Battle Royal, and video packages tried to heap praise on Moolah for her contributions to the sport.

However, what was quickly put forward in contrast to WWE's positive spin was old stories re-emerging, discussing Moolah's past and how she may have negatively impacted the lives of past women wrestlers.

After fans voiced their displeasure (and reached out to sponsors), the name of the match was changed, with no past performer's name associated with the battle royal. What will be interesting is what the commentary will be like during the match itself.

Which wrestlers from the past will they make mention of as notable contributors to the women's evolution of wrestling? With a match involving (presumably) 20 women from Raw, Smackdown Live and NXT, there seems little room for surprises, but that doesn't mean some interesting things can't come from it.

#4 How convinced is the booking committee in a Nia Jax face turn?

As the monster heel, Jax has been believable. How about now as the face?

The irresistible force that is Nia Jax has had her character go in a direction fans probably hadn't anticipated. In recent weeks her character has become somewhat like the Big Show, who would often cry as part of a storyline. Her frustration a couple of weeks ago led to tears, but the betrayal by her 'best friend' led to a whole new level of anger in her.

When it was revealed that her 'bestie' Alexa Bliss was manipulating her time and time again, a switch went off in Jax that showed she wasn't going to be someone to mess around with.

At a time where acceptance and understanding of differences are encouraged not discouraged, having Jax in the role of the face could be a welcome change.

While Bayley's character has been the wholesome fun character that doesn't sell sexuality, Jax could be the girl that has faced body shaming on more than one occasion only to come out the other side stronger and ready to destroy anything that stands in her path.

#3 What direction will the WWE take with Braun Strowman after WrestleMania?

Will Strowman remain in the tag team division or does the company have other plans for him?

Is anyone truly ready for these hands? That is the question that fans are asking as Braun Strowman walks into WrestleMania. He walked into a tag team battle royal to determine the top contenders for Cesaro and Sheamus' titles without a partner.

There has been speculation about everyone from Bray Wyatt to Elias to Kane to Big Show being his partner, but it hardly seems to make much sense to have him capture the tag team titles when it was the WWE Universal championship that he had his sights set on most recently.

He wasn't directly defeated in the triple threat match for that title as Kane was pinned by Lesnar. Fans would hope that Strowman is used in the role of a contender for either the Intercontinental or Universal championship, rather than in a tag team.

Having him realign with Bray Wyatt would certainly create a memorable and formidable team, rekindling the old Wyatt family that existed prior to the brand split. Ultimately, it appears there are many questions about Strowman's push once WrestleMania comes to an end.

#2 Will WrestleMania 34 be Brock Lesnar's final match in the WWE?

Brock Lesnar's time may or may not be up after WrestleMania. What looms ahead for the WWE Universal champion?

During the build towards WrestleMania, WWE has been very conscious about having the roles of both men involved in the Universal championship match clearly defined. Three years ago the company attempted to have Reigns appear as the face that bested the Beast Incarnate to capture the WWE championship.

The problem at that time, as many are still aware, is that the decision to have him walk away as the champion and the face of the company was met with a great deal of frustration and anger from many of those in attendance.

Thus, there was the last-minute decision to have Rollins cash in his Money in the Bank championship opportunity, and the rest, as they say, is history. It is clear this time around that they are trying to portray Reigns as a company guy, the one that is dedicated to his craft and the company.

This has all fed into the speculation that Lesnar may not return after WrestleMania since his contract comes to an end the next day. Has Lesnar's time in WWE run its course, and is the company determined to move in a different direction?

#1 Will Asuka remain undefeated and capture the Smackdown Live women's championship?

Does the streak remain intact and we see a new Smackdown Live women's champion?

From the moment Asuka came out after Charlotte Flair defeated Ruby Riott at Fastlane, the wrestling world was abuzz about this matchup. While she may be someone of a few words, when Asuka speaks it carries value.

She didn't challenge Bliss because, as she put it, 'To be the woman, you have to beat the woman,' and made it pretty clear that she already has more respect for Charlotte as a competitor then Alexa Bliss.

Her undefeated streak is among the most talked about stories in WWE over the last couple of years, as she has defeated anyone and everyone in her path. It didn't matter who it was or how many of them stood in her way, Asuka has taken them all out both big and small.

She has never faced Charlotte, however, and so this match brings with it a new dynamic that will be a challenge. Will the two women have the chemistry to have a great match? Will Asuka remain undefeated after WrestleMania? These will all become clearer on April 8th.
