5 Current WWE Superstars that Vince McMahon doesn't believe in

There are more contracted WWE Superstars at present than ever before. As a result, it's fair to say that the main roster creative team has quite the headache when it comes to booking shows. More often than not, certain stars will be overlooked since the company doesn't have enough TV time to include every star in the locker room.

There are common reasons why some stars have been omitted from certain shows, like injuries or storyline purposes. But many stars disappear from programming because the WWE Chairman isn't sold on them.

Vince McMahon will always be the most powerful man behind the scenes in WWE. It appears that there are several stars in the locker room who are struggling to get McMahon on board with their abilities as a performer. Whether it's the character they've been given or a specific aspect of their appearance, McMahon has seemingly given up on some of his current employees.

#5. Current WWE Women's Tag Team Champion Shayna Baszler is stuck in the tag team division

Shayna Baszler was a force to be reckoned with throughout her time in NXT. When she made her way up to the main roster, she made quite the impression after her strong debut at Survivor Series.

The former NXT Women's Champion was pushed into a storyline with Becky Lynch when she arrived on RAW. Baszler absolutely dominated the Women's Elimination Chamber Match last year, and she was the first female wrestler to eliminate every opponent in order to win the bout.

The Queen of Spades lost to Lynch at WrestleMania, and over the past year, she has seemingly fallen down the ranks in WWE. She now finds herself in a tag team with Nia Jax. The Wrestling Observer noted that when Paul Heyman left his position as the Executive Director of RAW, there were several WWE stars who lost their push, and Baszler was one of them.

"The only one that ended up not being completely f----- was Shayna because I guess they like the idea of Shayna and Nia Jax, so she got brought back."

Baszler has the talent to be the RAW Women's Champion right now. At the very least, she could be pushed into a feud with Asuka in the coming months. But it appears that she doesn't have the required backing to be pushed to the top of the company.

For this reason, the Submission Magician has become a fixture of the women's tag team division with Jax, and the duo has practically become a joke in recent months.

#4. Current WWE Superstar Bo Dallas hasn't been used for more than a year

Several members of the WWE Universe may not be aware that Bo Dallas is still contracted to WWE. The former NXT Champion hasn't been seen on WWE TV since 2019 when he was still part of The B-Team alongside Curtis Axel.

Axel was one of the stars who was released from WWE when the company made budget cuts related to the COVID-19 pandemic back in April 2020. But Dallas was spared, and he has kept his job ever since.

The former champion took some time away from WWE last year, but he is now reportedly one of the stars stuck in catering with no input from the creative team. The Wrestling Observer noted that this view isn't an over-exaggeration. Dallas hasn't been used in almost two years, and he's still waiting for a storyline.

“He’s there [Bo Dallas] and you know how they say ‘creative has nothing for him’? In his case, that’s actually true. Usually when people say that it’s something else. I don’t know why he’s never been cut, they never use him. But, they didn’t cut him and they cut all of those guys that they cut in April. He’s still there, still got a job. No idea what or why or anything. Big mystery.”

Still, there's a silver lining to the situation. Dallas' brother, Bray Wyatt is the man behind The Fiend. Several members of the WWE Universe still hold out hope that one day Dallas will be united on-screen with Wyatt.

#3. Current WWE Superstar Aleister Black has been left off of programming since October

Aleister Black was once seen as one of the company's biggest prospects when he was promoted to WWE's main roster. The former NXT Champion had created a unique persona for himself, and he was able to adapt to the main roster as a part of several intense feuds.

Sadly, this successful run came to an end in October 2020. Black was drafted over to SmackDown, and he hasn't been seen on-screen since this move. Various reports suggested that Black was set to make his return in an impressive way, but it's been almost five months since his last appearance.

He was left out of the Royal Rumble, and he hasn't been added to the Elimination Chamber. As a result, it's unclear what Black's future holds.

The Wrestling Observer recently noted that the WWE Chairman might be responsible for Black's current disappearance.

“Vince does not see anything in Aleister Black, or Andrade, or any of those guys that [stopped getting pushed] when Paul Heyman lost his position."

Black was being pushed as a rising star on RAW when Paul Heyman was the Executive Director. But since he left that position, the former NXT Champion has been left on the sidelines.

#2. Former NXT Champion Keith Lee has had an inconsistent run on the main roster

Keith Lee is another star who was once seen as a hot prospect in WWE. The former NXT Champion became a widely popular star on the black-and-gold brand. Lee was later called up to the main roster, and he has had an interesting few months on RAW.

Lee was reported to be one of the stars who was sent back to the Performance Center for further training last year. It seemed like the WWE Chairman wasn't completely sold on him. At the moment, it's fair to wonder whether McMahon's opinion has changed.

Lee didn't compete in this year's Royal Rumble Match, though he was viewed as one of the men who could have won the battle royal. New reports suggests that he could be taken out of the United States Championship Match at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.

These rumors state that Lee is not medically cleared to compete this weekend. Whether he's healthy or not, several fans believe that the former NXT star hasn't found his footing on the main roster because he doesn't have the backing of the WWE Chairman yet.

#1. Former WWE United States Champion Andrade has been absent for a few months

Much like fellow WWE star Aleister Black, it's been several months since Andrade has been seen on WWE TV. But at one point in time, many fans believed that he was the future of the business.

The former NXT Champion make an impression on Monday Night RAW alongside Zelina Vega. But the duo split up last year, and Andrade hasn't been seen on TV since his former business associate was fired from the company.

The Wrestling Observer noted that Andrade was one of the stars that Paul Heyman wanted to push forward on the red brand. But when Heyman stepped aside, the WWE Chairman reportedly didn't see anything in several of his recruits. Many of these stars have been kept off WWE TV since WWE's creative team doesn't know what to do with them.

Andrade and Aleister Black have been left off of programming in recent months while the company tries to figure out a plan for their future. Hopefully, Andrade will return to RAW or SmackDown soon because he has a lot of untapped potential.
