There are currently more second and third-generation stars in WWE than ever before. While the likes of Charlotte Flair and Roman Reigns have made their way to the top of the company in a short period of time, there are many other sons and daughters of former WWE stars who haven't made the same impression.

The addition of the Performance Center and NXT over the past few years has meant that many aspiring wrestlers can attempt to become the next big star, but many wrestlers realize that this dream is much further away than reality.

There are many former WWE stars' daughters who have looked to follow in their father's footsteps over the years, but whilst Charlotte, Natalya, Tamina, and Carmella are all proving that this is possible, there are others who weren't as lucky.

#5 Tessa Blanchard

The daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Tully Blanchard recently made headlines when she became the first-ever female IMPACT World Champion. Blanchard is currently a free agent after later being released from the company. But her stint in WWE seemingly didn't go well.

Blanchard made a handful of appearances in NXT and was part of the Mae Young Classic back in 2017. But she was eliminated in the first round by eventual winner Kairi Sane.

Losses to Nia Jax, Alexa Bliss, and Carmella were the main action that Blanchard saw on NXT before WWE opted not to sign her to an official contract. This was when Blanchard then opted to sign for IMPACT Wrestling and went on to make history.

At present, there are a number of rumors circulating regarding Blanchard's wrestling future since her father is currently working for All Elite Wrestling, but WWE could be interested in re-signing the star.

#4 Lacey Von Erich

Lacey Von Erich is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Kerry Von Erich and even though the star was able to have quite a career in IMPACT Wrestling, she was unable to make an impression in WWE.

Von Erich was signed to a developmental contract back in 2007 and worked in FCW alongside the likes of Natalya, Alicia Fox and The Bella Twins, who were all coming through the ranks in the company at that time. After just a handful of matches for the developmental brand, WWE released Von Erich from her contract.

The star went on to make a name for herself as part of The Beautiful People in IMPACT, just months after her final WWE appearance, which came as part of the Women's WrestleMania Battle Royale in 2009.

Von Erich retired from wrestling more than a decade ago and has since gone on to start her own family. The former WWE star now has two sons and a daughter with her husband Grant Blindbury, whom she married back in 2011.

#3 Rachael Ellering

The daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Paul Ellering, Rachael Ellering was once known as Rachael Evers in NXT. She was in the company when her father was managing Authors of Pain.

Ellering made her initial NXT debut back in 2016 and worked as an enhancement talent before being announced as a participant in the inaugural Mae Young Classic back in 2017.

Ellering was eliminated from the tournament in the second round, before appearing as part of the second Mae Young Classic the following year, where she was eliminated in the first round.

Following her appearance in the Mae Young Classic, in January 2019, Ellering was signed to a contract with WWE and began appearing on NXT. This was short-lived, since Ellering suffered an ACL injury in the summer of 2019, and was later named as one of the stars who was released from WWE in April 2020 as part of the budget cuts following the COVID-19 pandemic.

Ellering has since moved on to work for All Elite Wrestling, having already made two appearances for the company.

#2 Noelle Foley

Mick Foley is a hardcore legend and a name that has become synonymous with WWE over the years. Foley's son Dewey is already a member of the creative team, but when his daughter Noelle revealed that she wanted to join the company as well, Foley was less than impressed.

Foley put Noelle through her paces and allowed her to try out for WWE after training alongside some of the company's biggest stars including Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks.

At the time, Mick Foley and Noelle were part of their own Network Show called Holy Foley and the storyline followed Noelle throughout her training to become a WWE star, even though it was made obvious that her father wasn't happy about it.

In the end, Noelle wasn't able to pass the tryout and was informed that she wouldn't be able to join the roster. Instead, Noelle has become quite an influential face on social media and has proved that she could be a member of the company's broadcast team in the future instead.

#1 Shaul Guerrero

Shaul Guerrero is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer Eddie Guerrero, the oldest of Vickie and Eddie's two daughters, Shaul decided to follow her mother and father into WWE back in 2010.

Shaul was signed to a contract with WWE and sent to FCW where she worked alongside AJ Lee and Naomi, whilst also briefly being seen as the manager of Rusev. When she was in FCW, Shaul was given the ring name Raquel Diaz and went on to lift the FCW Divas Championship.

Diaz was later moved over to NXT when it was rebranded in 2012, but in September that year, it was reported that the star had asked for her release from the company, which was granted.

A year later in September 2013, Diaz reappeared on NXT where it was revealed that she wasn't released but was actually granted time away to attend school. Sadly, the daughter of Vickie Guerrero was going through a number of struggles in her personal life at this time and was officially granted her WWE release in April 2014.

Guerrero has since returned to the wrestling business and is now taking bookings on the independent circuit.
