Becky Lynch has been on the run of her life over the past few months, and many in the WWE Universe would feel that it is about time this happened. Her supposed heel turn on Charlotte Flair made her more of a fan favourite than anything else, and she has been gathering more and more momentum during her title run.

Lynch has been such a popular figure that the build before her proposed match with Ronda Rousey saw fans getting behind The Irish Lass Kicker, and actually positioning her as a favourite to win the match against Rousey.

Many wrestling observers and fans had also pointed out that Lynch winning the match would be a terrific idea, and that was exactly what would be needed in order for Lynch to really take her career to the next level.

Lynch has been one of the most interesting superstars to watch on SmackDown Live, and can easily be considered as one of the main attractions on the show. It is clear the WWE have many plans in store for her, and that we can expect her to have an extended title run.

Or at least that was the case until the episode of Monday Night Raw before Survivor Series. Lynch led a SmackDown Live women's invasion of Raw, and the ensuing brawl saw Lynch being injured by Nia Jax.

The injury would force the WWE to change the Survivor Series match between Lynch and Rousey, due to Lynch not being medically cleared to compete at the event, with Charlotte Flair taking her place.

The question now is how many more changes to their plans the WWE will have to make due to Lynch's injury, and how this will affect her push going forward. This article will look at 5 such plans.

#1 Charlotte Flair's heel turn

Charlotte Flair took Lynch's place against Rousey at Survivor Series, and while she was an expected replacement for Becky, her heel turn and actions were completely unexpected.

Flair unleashed one of the most brutal assaults we have ever seen on WWE television, especially in the women's division. There were many fans who were surprised by what ensued, and this was a move which turned Flair into a crowd favourite in a matter of minutes.

This was not a random move, and it was a sign that the WWE had learned from the experiment with Lynch. The new badass persona which Flair adopted was similar to that of Lynch's, and the crowd responded to Flair with cheers in the same way they have cheered Lynch through her run with the title.

With Lynch currently not cleared to wrestle, the WWE needed a badass babyface to take the mantle, and this was the catalyst which led to Flair turning heel.

#2 A potential Rousey heel turn

After Charlotte Flair launched her surprising attack on Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series, it was clear the WWE Universe had turned on Rousey in a big way. Rousey had even looked vulnerable and broken for the first time in her WWE run, and this was a huge moment for the superstar.

Rousey is currently receiving a lot of negative reaction from the fans, and this could be due to the fact that the WWE are repeating the mistake with her they made with Roman Reigns.

Rousey has not looked like the machine which she was in the UFC, and it was hoped that she would have been more of the Brock Lesnar of the women's division, rather than the smiling super babyface which the WWE has turned her into.

The WWE might use this unexpected turn of events to turn Rousey heel, and have her become more of a destructive force on Monday Night Raw, instead of the crowd pleasing babyface which we have been forced to watch.

#3 WrestleMania 35

It has been speculated for a long time (probably ever since Ronda Rousey arrived in WWE) that she would face off against Charlotte Flair in a dream match at WrestleMania 35.

However, Dave Meltzer has reported in the Wrestling Observer newsletter that Becky Lynch vs Ronda Rousey might now be the match planned to headline WrestleMania 35 instead, given the immense popularity Lynch has had over the past few months.

The planned match between Rousey and Lynch at Survivor Series had an immense amount of hype surrounding it, and it would be impossible for the WWE to ignore just how over Lynch is with the fans right now.

A match between Rousey and Lynch would be one for the ages, and the fact that the planned match at Survivor Series was scrapped has only put more anticipation for a future match between the two, which is currently rumored to be at WrestleMania 35.

#4 Nia Jax being the sole survivor at Survivor Series

Nia Jax is undoubtedly a heel figure

If it wasn't clear before, it definitely is now. Nia Jax is undoubtedly a heel figure, more because of the injury which she caused Rousey rather than any other reason.

This was made even more clear at Survivor Series where Jax practically got booed throughout the entire match and received a lot of negative reaction from the WWE Universe after she caused Lynch to miss the event due to injury.

The WWE have been quick to act on this and have used the injury of Lynch to position Jax as an unstoppable wrecking machine. This was apparent during Survivor Series where Jax dispatched everyone who came her way with ease, including Asuka.

Jax would then go on to become the sole survivor, which was done to emphasise her sheer dominance and physicality, especially in the light of the injury she caused Lynch.

#5 An extended push for Lynch

One of the most notable points which have been brought about by Lynch's injury is just how over she is with the WWE Universe. There is probably nothing Lynch can do at this point which would make the WWE Universe boo her, and this is something the creative team at WWE have picked up on.

Despite being in a heated feud with Charlotte Flair, The Queen is now seen to be honouring Lynch, and dedicated her assault on Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series to Becky. It is clear that the WWE have decided to position Lynch at the top of the SmackDown Live women's division, and that she is the clear leader of the locker room.

With Lynch being out of action for a while, the WWE are going to be looking for ways to preserve the momentum which she has had throughout her title run so far. This episode of SmackDown Live after Survivor Series supports this as Lynch was portrayed in an admirable light by Flair, and shown a tremendous amount of respect by The Queen as well as the WWE Universe.
