Ashley Elizabeth Fliehr, who is commonly known as Charlotte Flair, is one of the leading women of the Women's division in WWE. She is a seven-time women's champion and is also a critically acclaimed wrestler.

Charlotte has the capability to put up an amazing match with any individual who steps in the ring with her. Also, her gimmick is accepted widely by the WWE Universe. It might be unbelievable to hear that Charlotte started wrestling only in 2012 and had no prior experience in wrestling.

Ric Flair is one of the most efficient wrestlers WWE has ever produced. Charlotte has taken his legacy forward, and she is considered a wrestling prodigy. She had aligned herself with her father, 'The Nature Boy' for quite some time, but later she chose to part ways with him.

Currently, she is feuding against Becky Lynch, and her Triple Threat Match against the latter and Asuka at TLC is awaited by many. We know quite a lot about Ric Flair, but how much do we know about his equally talented daughter? Let's take a step inside her life and explore some little-known facts about 'The Queen'.

#5 Ric Flair pushed her into sports at an early age

Ric Flair was on top of his game when Charlotte was young. He would obviously want his children to follow his footsteps. Maybe sports and athletics were in her blood. She started playing volleyball in school, and she was a standout star from high school until college.

She was so good at volleyball that she earned a sports scholarship at Appalachian State University, where she became a certified physical trainer after she received her degree.

Ric Flair claims that he took his daughter to sporting events since she was four years old. He admitted that he always pushed his daughter to participate and win the games and he stepped back and enjoyed her successes. Charlotte also participated in collegiate gymnastics and basketball, and she fared exceptionally well in all three sports.

#4 She has been involved in several legal issues

Like her father, Ric Flair, Charlotte also had run into many legal issues in her past. Unfortunately, the seven-time champion has had anger management issues which have gotten her into trouble many times.

In 2008, she assaulted a police officer when he tried to intervene in a fight which involved her father, her first husband Riki, and herself. She pleaded guilty to the assault and took responsibility for it.

Since it was her first offence, she was given a suspended jail sentence and had to pay 200$ for her probation. She has regretted her actions many times, and she had also talked about it in several interviews.

She has also been involved in an infamous autobiography scandal with her ex-husband Riki Johnson. She had written some defamatory allegations about Johnson in her book "Second Nature".

She talked about his alleged drug use, which had negatively impacted their marriage. Johnson claimed that he could prove them wrong and he slapped a lawsuit on the author Brian Shields, Ric Flair and Charlotte.

In an update, Ric Flair, Charlotte, WWE, and Shields were granted a motion on November 29 that they would be given an extended amount of time to respond to the lawsuit that was filed against them, according to PWInsider.

#3 She is the only wrestler to win all the Women's Championships

Charlotte has had a long journey after debuting on the main roster. Recognizing her talent, WWE has pushed her immensely, which led to her winning all four Women Championships (the Divas Championship, the NXT Women's Championship, the RAW Women's Championship, and and the SD Women's Championship).

Charlotte has proved her wrestling prowess every time she steps inside the ring, and it cannot be denied that she deserves the push that she has received.

Charlotte defeated Natalya to win the NXT Women's Championship in 2014. A few months after she joined the main roster, she won the Divas Championship from the longest reigning champion, Nikki Bella.

Then, she defeated Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch in a triple threat match at Wrestlemania to win the newly introduced Women's Championship, which became the RAW Women's Championship. After being drafted to SD Live, she won the title from Natalya in 2017.

#2 She was not satisfied with her Hell in the Cell match with Sasha Banks

Charlotte and Sasha Banks featured in the first ever Women's Hell in the Cell match in 2016. Charlotte defeated Bayley and Sasha Banks in a Triple Threat match at Clash of Champions in the same year to win the Women's Championship. In the next episode of RAW, Banks defeated Charlotte and won the Championship.

A rematch was scheduled where Banks challenged Flair to a Hell in the Cell match, which Charlotte accepted. Charlotte defeated Banks after a gruesome 22-minute battle.

The match was not a below average match, but the ending left many asking 'that's it?' because of the abrupt ending. Both the wrestlers weren't satisfied with their match, and they thought they can perform better.

They were deeply disappointed with their historic match. Triple H consoled them by asking them to enjoy their moment and appreciate what they have managed to accomplish. On Gorilla Position Podcast with host James Delow, he opened up about this matter, he said,

“I was trying to tell them coming back that they had just made history. That they had just changed the business again, and that they needed to be proud of themselves and put your critiques of yourself aside until tomorrow. Today, revel in the moment and enjoy what you have accomplished.”

It was a very important moment for all the women in the roster and for the Women's Revolution because it was a huge step towards equality.

#1 She has two dream main events matches on her mind

In November 2017, Upproxx interviewed Flair, and she revealed that she has two dream matches on her mind. The interview was brief, but they managed to pick up important information from the interview.

Charlotte thinks that both the matches are capable of being a Wrestlemania main event match. The first one is between her and the other Horsewomen of WWE. She thinks that Becky Lynch, Bayley, Sasha Banks and herself are capable of putting up WM main event match.

"Maybe fatal four-way, Four Horsewomen, I think that’s the main event match. I don’t really have a dream singles, I just dream of main eventing."

It is a great idea, but it might be a little difficult after the brand split. Maybe, after the end of this match, there can be a faceoff with the Horsewomen of UFC, it can prove to be a great angle.

The second match is against the Chief Brand Officer of WWE and the Commissioner of RAW herself, Stephanie McMahon. Charlotte feels that it will be a Queen vs Queen match and it has the potential to be a main event.
