Charlotte Flair is undoubtedly one of the few female athletes who ignited the women's revolution in WWE. #5 Charlotte Flair vs Natalya (NXT Women's Championship match)
Paige made history in 2014 when she won the WWE Divas Championship while she was the reigning NXT Women's Champion. She eventually moved up to the main roster and vacated the latter title. This scenario presented Charlotte Flair and Natalya with the opportunity to become the second-ever Women's Champion of the black-and-gold brand.
Although Charlotte was impressing the NXT audience with her weekly performances, she needed a match of this magnitude to achieve mainstream popularity. At the first-ever NXT TakeOver event, Charlotte Flair defeated Natalya to win the title in an incredible contest and many believe this match helped her to establish herself as a unique personality and not just 'Ric Flair's daughter'.
#4 Charlotte Flair(c) vs Becky Lynch vs Sasha Banks (Triple threat WWE Women's Championship match)
At the WrestleMania 32 pre-show, Lita unveiled the brand new WWE Women's Championship and announced that Charlotte Flair's Divas Championship would be replaced with the new title following the triple threat match.
WWE's decision to accredit their female talents as legit performers instead of labeling them as 'divas' was welcomed by the fans worldwide. While the entire women's division deserves appreciation for making this possible, special mention goes to Charlotte Flair and the incredible matches that she had put up en route to WrestleMania.
At the grandest stage of sports entertainment, Flair defeated Becky Lynch and Sasha Banks to become the first-ever WWE Women's Champion and in the process, once again showed the WWE Universe why she is rightfully called The Queen.
#3 Charlotte Flair(c) vs Sasha Banks (RAW Women's Championship, Falls Count Anywhere match)
Following WrestleMania 32, Charlotte Flair and Sasha Banks engaged in numerous battles for the RAW Women's Championship. The women's division got to main event RAW, pay-per-views, wrestle in the first-ever women's Hell in a Cell match, and every time they had a match, they stole the show. In November 2016, The Legit Boss once again challenged for the title and this time, they wrestled in a Falls Count Anywhere match.
Despite the match happening in her hometown, Charlotte Flair couldn't put up a good show as the crowd was in full support of Sasha Banks. The match took place throughout the arena with both ladies attempting to tear each other apart.
In the end, Sasha Banks forced The Queen to tap out to the Bank Statement and won the RAW Women's Championship. Charlotte Flair lost the match but earned praises for setting a new benchmark for Falls Count Anywhere matches in WWE.
#2 Charlotte Flair(c) vs Asuka (SmackDown Women's Championship)
One of the major attractions of last year's WrestleMania was the battle between Asuka and Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women's Championship. It became more intriguing as Asuka had never lost in singles action since her WWE debut while on the other hand, Charlotte Flair possessed the athletism that could end the streak of the Empress of Tomorrow.
As expected, Flair and Asuka gave their all, in an attempt to carry forward their legacy. The back-and-forth matchup came to a sudden end as Flair forced The Empress to tap out to the Figure 8-Leglock.
#1 Charlotte Flair vs Becky Lynch(c) (SmackDown Women's Championship, Last Woman Standing match)
The rivalry between Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair changed the entire complexion of WWE in 2018. It was this feud that molded 'The Lass Kicker' Becky Lynch into The Man.
After winning the SmackDown Women's Championship from Flair at Clash of Champions, Lynch was set to defend the title in a Last Women Standing match at the inaugural WWE Evolution pay-per-view. Their match at the event was brutal, hard-hitting and something that every pro-wrestling fan should give a watch.
Charlotte Flair and Becky Lynch's performance at the first-ever all women's event proved exactly why the female athletes of WWE deserved their standalone show. Flair lost the match, but to be honest, the entire women's division won that night.
