Today, WWE's Executive Vice President Triple H turns 50!

The Game's illustrious pro-wrestling career is certainly one to marvel at. Triple H made his WCW debut way back in 1994. This was where he began using his famous signature move, The Pedigree. After WCW refused to push him as a singles competitor, Levesque jumped ship to WWE.

Triple H met The Ultimate Warrior in his first WrestleMania match, resulting in Warrior defeating the rookie in under two minutes. Soon after, Triple H's planned push was halted as a punishment for his role in the Curtain Call incident. He still managed to bounce back and went on to become one of the biggest Superstars of all time. Today, Triple H consistently works towards turning WWE into a global pro-wrestling giant. Let's take a look at 5 things Triple H does in order to achieve his ambitious goal.

#5 Scouting the indies for talent

Longtime fans of The Game are well aware of the fact that Triple H has lived and breathed professional wrestling all his life. Someone who has been a part of the action throughout his career, and also possesses a sound mind for the business, is bound to make some clever decisions to improve his company.

Triple H was once clicked scouting an indie promotion and hunting for talent that he could then secure for WWE's NXT brand. The rare backstage photo is proof that Triple H is ready to take that extra step to make sure that WWE bags the best crop of talent out there. This practice must have been incredibly useful for Triple H, as there's tons of talent out there that usually goes unseen. One wonders how many of the current NXT stars Triple H has discovered by scouting the indies himself.

#4 Rebuilding burnt bridges

One of the biggest reasons Vince McMahon is termed by many as the absolute best promoter in the pro-wrestling industry is that he has rarely let personal feelings come into the way of the business. Bret Hart and The Ultimate Warrior are just a few of several Superstars we thought we would never see inside a WWE ring again, but Vince managed to mend fences with them. Same goes for The Game. A good businessman makes sure that the business always remains a priority, and above anything else.

Triple H once referred to Warrior as an unprofessional wrestler but welcomed him with open arms for the 2014 Hall of Fame induction. Triple H and WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg weren't the best of friends at one time, but Triple H didn't let this personal animosity become a hindrance to the business, which led to Goldberg coming back for a short run with WWE in 2016.

#3 Consistently putting over talent

Triple H gets a lot of heat from wrestling personalities and fans for "burying Superstars", but is this entirely true?

The Cerebral Assassin has been known for putting over talent on big stages like WrestleMania. Back in 2014, Triple H lost the opening match of WrestleMania 30 to Daniel Bryan, resulting in Bryan getting a shot at and winning the top title in the main event of the night. At WrestleMania 32 and 33, Triple H lost marquee matches against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, respectively.

Earlier this year, The Game was embarrassed by Becky Lynch when she slapped him in the middle of the ring, during the buildup to her legendary WrestleMania 35 win. Triple H has been consistently putting over young talent over the years, something he knows will help the company in the long term.

A short while ago, Triple H talked about the possibility of an NXT TakeOver event taking place in Saudi Arabia. WWE has already expanded the NXT brand to the United Kingdon, with NXT UK. Recently, Triple H talked with officials from a major Japanese promotion named Dragon Gate, during WWE's recent tour to Japan. Additionally, WWE officials met with Stardom officials during the tour. WWE recently organized a try-out camp in Shanghai, China.

Another report is suggesting that WWE is planning to expand NXT to Canada. It's clear as day here that Triple H is looking to expand NXT on a global scale, with presence in several nations. At this pace, it won't be a surprise few years down the line, if NXT becomes an international brand, with a strong footing in a string of countries. Imagine the talent pool WWE would possess, if Triple H's supposed plan comes to fruition

WWE has been criticized in the past for not building enough future Superstars and relying on legends from the past. Although it's true that WWE has featured the old crop on several occasions in the recent past, the company has also managed to build several top stars over the years.

Currently, WWE boasts possibly the most talented roster in the industry, spread over Raw, SmackDown Live, 205 Live, NXT, and NXT UK. While Superstars like Becky Lynch, Seth Rollins, Finn Balor, and Bray Wyatt are making a mark on the main roster, future stars are honing their skills down in developmental.
