There are a number of hidden facts about Bray Wyatt

Bray Wyatt has become a hot topic of conversation over the past few months since he debuted The Firefly Fun House and The Fiend. The former WWE Champion become one of the most popular Superstars on the main roster.

Wyatt has become a thorn in the side of many WWE Hall of Famers in recent weeks, including Jerry Lawler, Kurt Angle, and Mick Foley. Whilst he has only had one match on WWE TV, which came back at SummerSlam when he was able to defeat Finn Balor, he has already been pushed into the Universal Championship picture and will now face Seth Rollins at Hell in a Cell inside the demonic structure.

Shockingly, not many fans believe that this push has come too soon and now await whatever creative genius Wyatt has for his upcoming Universal Championship match. The Fiend could have been his best idea since he's been part of WWE programming now for more than six years and this is his biggest push to date.

Despite being on WWE's main roster ever since 2013, Wyatt has been consistently overlooked, which could be why there are several things about the former patriarch of The Wyatt Family, that many fans still don't know.

#5 He has three children

Bray Wyatt is quite the family man outside of WWE since he has three children with two different women. Wyatt married his high school sweetheart Samantha back in 2012 and the couple then went on to have two children, Cadyn and Kendyl before the couple opted to divorce back in 2017.

Wyatt has since begun a relationship with former Raw ring announcer JoJo Offerman. The couple has been very private about their personal life in recent years, but the duo did welcome their first child together called Knash earlier this year as revealed on Instagram.

#4 His sister was once rumoured to be Sister Abigail

Bray Wyatt's entire character has always had a creepy demeanour. But back when he was part of The Wyatt Family, the Sister Abigail character dominated many of his feuds and there were then rumours that WWE could be bringing someone in to portray her before it was revealed that she was actually dead.

There were a number of wrestlers in the frame for the position including Paige, Sarah Logan and even Wyatt's own sister Mika Rotunda.

Mika is not signed to WWE like her two brothers and her father once was, but she's close friends with many of their superstars and even worked backstage for the company back at WrestleMania 33.

Many fans pushed for her to be part of The Wyatt Family alongside her brother, but the storyline took a dramatic turn.

Perhaps The Fiend will finally be able to explain what actually happened to Sister Abigail, or it will be revealed that she's still alive and Mika could then have a chance of playing the part. It would make sense since she is actually his sister.

#3 Harper and Rowan were originally supposed to be his sons

Luke Harper and Erick Rowan were once an integral part of The Wyatt Family alongside their leader, but have since been able to go it alone and are currently part of one of the main storylines on SmackDown Live alongside Roman Reigns and Daniel Bryan.

It has been questioned as to why the trio was called "The Wyatt Family" since it was never confirmed how the three men were related and then they all had different names. Originally, when The Wyatt Family was formed back in NXT, there was a story that stated that Wyatt was the father of Harper and Rowan.

This was heavily implied throughout their time in NXT, but when they were moved up to the main roster, it was removed from their backstory and it appears that WWE decided to just go with the idea that they could be related because they all had a similar look.

Would it have made much difference if The Wyatt Family was related? If Harper and Rowan were the sons of Bray Wyatt or did it work better the way it was changed for the main roster?

#2 He has a degree in Broadcast Journalism

Many of the WWE Universe have wondered over the years how Bray Wyatt is so good at using the English Language and then delivering some fantastic promos.

Well, the answer could be the fact that he has a degree in Broadcast Journalism, so he has experience speaking in front of a camera and he definitely has quite the knowledge of the English Language.

Wyatt has interestingly never used his degree as part of his character, instead, he has used the skills he acquired whilst at Troy University to feed his creativity. Wyatt also left the University just 27 credits short of receiving a Bachelor's Degree since it was then that he decided he wanted to be a wrestler.

If anything, this proves just how smart Bray Wyatt actually is, and why Vince McMahon rates him so highly.

Since it's been proved over the past six years that Wyatt has a huge input on his character and his creativity is second to none, which could be why The Fiend has become such a popular character, because he has more layers than any other star in the company at present.

#1 This isn't the first time he's worn a mask

Whilst he was part of The Wyatt Family, the former WWE Champion had his own unique look and now many fans are being forced to adapt to the fact that he wrestles in a mask. Interestingly, this isn't the first time that he has tried to wear a mask in the ring.

Back in NXT, Wyatt was part of The Wyatt Family and began wearing a Phantom of the Opera style mask this was because his nose was broken in a match and the company didn't want to lose him from the brand until it was healed.

The mask suited Wyatt, but he opted against keeping it when his nose was healed and instead reverted back to his usual attire.

There was also a time back in FCW when Wyatt actually tried out wearing a full mask. Back in 2011, after some time away from the ring, he returned and debuted the hockey mask-wearing character of Axel Mulligan. It was a character that never made it to FCW TV but it allowed Wyatt to foreshadow his future as The Fiend.
