Over the past several years in WWE, notable Superstars from the company have gotten themselves into trouble with the law on live Television, so much so, that it eventually led to some marquee Superstars representing the WWE being arrested.

During the Attitude Era, the WWE (then WWF) Universe had the opportunity to witness several notable arrests on live TV every now and then with Stone Cold Steve Austin being at the peak of the list after being arrested for over five times from 1997-1999. Other notable names who also got into trouble with the law back in the Attitude Era were the likes of Triple H, Gerald Brisco, Pat Patterson, and even company chairman Vince McMahon, who surprisingly has been arrested in 1998, 1999, and 2015.

In recent times, several notable names have been arrested on live TV and in this list, I will be taking an in-depth look at five marquee WWE Superstars who have been taken into custody on live WWE Television. With that being said, here are the 5 notable names (with an added bonus):

Honorable Mention: Dean Ambrose (Jon Moxley)

Dean Ambrose or rather I say, Jon Moxley, is currently enjoying his pro wrestling career with New Japan Pro Wrestling and All Elite Wrestling. Since departing from WWE after WrestleMania 35, Moxley has had the privilege of sharing the ring with the likes of Juice Robinson, Joey Janela, Tetsuya Naito, and Tomohiro Ishii among others.

However, life always hasn't been about hard-hitting strong style matches for the current IWGP US Champion, as back in 2015, Moxley (then known as Dean Ambrose) was made to be arrested by The Authority after he had bumped into a cameraman during a brawl with J&J Security.

Much to Seth Rollins and his stablemates' joy, Ambrose was seized by the police on live TV after COO Triple H ordered for his arrest. Check it out below:

#5 Becky Lynch

Becky Lynch's recent rise to the top of the food chain in WWE has been absolutely immense and it all began way back at Survivor Series 2018 when she led the SmackDown Live roster to an invasion on RAW and put Ronda Rousey on notice.

Those were the initial stages of a feud between Lynch and Rousey, as the two women had several back-and-forth altercations prior to their triple threat clash (also involving Charlotte Flair) at WrestleMania 35.

In the build-up to WrestleMania 35, The Man once again decided to make her presence felt known on RAW when she crashed a tag team match featuring Ronda Rousey & Natalya against The Riott Squad on the 25th of February, 2019.

With Lynch taking aim at Natalya as her first target, a brawl between The Man and Rousey quickly broke as it eventually led to the former being arrested by the cops on live TV.

#4 Stone Cold Steve Austin

A not-so-rare sight
A not-so-rare sight

You probably saw this one coming from a mile but let's face it, this list would've totally incomplete without the inclusion of Stone Cold Steve Austin. During his tenure with the WWF as an in-ring competitor, Stone Cold Steve Austin was by far one of the most controversial on-air characters to have competed in the WWE.

Austin was (still is) considered as the biggest on-air anti-authority figure and during his time with the company, constantly got into trouble with the law. In 1997, Stone Cold was arrested for the first time within WWF premises and unsurprisingly enough, it wasn't the last time either. Matter of fact, Austin was arrested in WWF on two different occasions within that year itself.

The following year, the Texas Rattlesnake was once again arrested on two different occasions and maintained his track record with the law for the next two consecutive years, as well. If this doesn't already prove the fact that Stone Cold Steve Austin was the most controversial character to have stepped foot in WWE then I don't know what will!

#3 The Undertaker

Back in 1999, WWF pulled off one of the most shocking segments on television involving The Undertaker and The Ministry of Darkness, as the satanic group tried to sacrifice The Big Bossman in order to send a message to the Chairman of the Board, Vince McMahon.

At that point in time, The Ministry was engaged in a feud against McMahon's Corporation faction and on an episode of RAW in 1999, The Undertaker ordered his stablemates Edge, Christian, Gangrel, Farooq, Bradshaw, Viscera, and Mideon to ambush Bossman at the parking lot, which they successfully did.

Within minutes, The Ministry made their way out to the arena and was on the verge of sacrificing The Bossman, however, things didn't go accordingly with The Bossman being able to make an escape and The Corporation coming to his save as well.

Shortly afterwards, Corporation stooges Gerald Briscoe and Pat Patterson ordered for The Undertaker's arrest, as the satanic leader of The Ministry was taken in handcuffs by the cops on RAW.

#2 John Cena

A very rare sight indeed!
A very rare sight indeed!

It's not every day you get to see John Cena in trouble with the law but in 2005, Cena and JBL were in the middle of an intense feud against each other that saw the former vandalize his arch-rival's limousine on an episode of SmackDown.

This eventually led to JBL losing his cool and on the 31st March, 2005 episode of SmackDown, the then-WWE Champion made sure Cena paid the price, as the latter was made to be arrested and was also brutally attacked by JBL as well.

#1 Brock Lesnar

Brock Lesnar's feud with the returning Undertaker in 2015 was chaotic and as expected, it also led to an orderless brawl between the pair prior to their clash at SummerSlam 2015.

On the 20th July, 2015 episode of RAW, Lesnar and Undertaker engaged in a wild brawl as things got out of hands with the two veterans trying to diss out as much punishment as they could in the lead-up to The Biggest Party of the Summer.

The brawl eventually ended with the two men being separated by almost half of the WWE roster and added security guards. However, in order to maintain further order, Lesnar was also arrested backstage.
