What could WWE Hell in a Cell have in store for us?

WWE Clash of Champions 2020 is in the history books. Now, the company will move forward towards the next big pay-per-view event, Hell in a Cell, which is scheduled to take place at the WWE ThunderDome at Amway Center in Orlando, Florida on Oct. 25.

WWE Hell in a Cell could be an exciting event, but WWE might not announce any matches for the show just yet. The reason for this is the WWE Draft is coming up next week. There could be several major changes in both the RAW and SmackDown rosters due to the draft, which could affect the WWE Hell in a Cell card.

Without any further delay, let's take a look at five matches that should happen at WWE Hell in a Cell and four others that shouldn't.

#5. Bayley (c) vs Sasha Banks should happen at Hell in a Cell

This is one feud that should be settled in a Hell in a Cell match. After months and months of build-up, Bayley finally turned on her best friend, Sasha Banks, on SmackDown after their unsuccessful attempt to regain their WWE Women's Tag Team Championship a few weeks ago.

However, WWE didn't pull the trigger on this feud immediately. Instead, Nikki Cross was supposed to challenge Bayley for her title, but Banks attacked Bayley at Clash of Champions. All signs point towards a clash at Hell in a Cell, and the two could even headline the pay-per-view event inside the demonic structure.

Fans have previously seen the magic that Banks and Bayley can create together inside the ring. They might be in for a classic in this titular stipulation match. Could Bayley finally lose the SmackDown Women's Championship? She has held for the title for 356 days, but there is a huge chance that Banks could secure it soon.

#4. Asuka (c) vs Zelina Vega should not happen at Hell in a Cell

No one likes to watch repetitive matches with the same outcome and no story progression over and over. It was great to see WWE give Zelina Vega a shot at Asuka's RAW Women's Championship and show signs of becoming a huge single's star in the future However, letting her challenge Asuka again at Hell in a Cell might not be the best idea.

Zelina Vega lost clean to Asuka at WWE Clash of Champions and again on the episode of RAW following the pay-per-view. WWE might just play it safe and book the two to clash again, but there is a very slim chance that Vega will defeat Asuka to win the RAW women's title.

With all due respect to Zelina Vega, several other contenders can feud with Asuka as opposed to another filler match.

Superstars like Mickie James and even Peyton Royce, who was reportedly set to be pushed as a singles star, could be good options to challenge Asuka. James, in particular, has had a history with Asuka. She could help elevate her title run as the RAW Women's Champion by challenging her at WWE Hell in a Cell.

#4. Drew McIntyre (c) vs Randy Orton should happen at Hell in a Cell

WWE Champion, Drew McIntyre, and Randy Orton have been engaged in an intense feud for the last couple of months. While McIntyre has managed to retain his title against The Legend Killer at both SummerSlam and Clash of Champions, the feud isn't over yet. Hell in a Cell has been a place where feuds end and there could be no better place to wrap up this rivalry than inside Hell in a Cell.

Randy Orton has gone after multiple legends in the last few months and almost all of them made an appearance at WWE Clash of Champions to assure that he doesn't walk out as the new WWE Champion. On the RAW that followed, Orton made it clear that he is not done yet and even conspired to attack all of those legends.

There were previous rumors that WWE planned for Randy Orton to take the WWE Championship off Drew McIntyre and book Edge to challenge Orton for the title at WrestleMania 37. Things change on the go and we will have to see whether that happens or not.

#3 Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt should not happen at Hell in a Cell

Hands down, the best storyline going on Friday Night SmackDown—and arguably all of WWE—right now is the sadistic transformation of Alexa Bliss following her encounter with The Fiend. The second is the amazing new version of the Universal Champion, "The Tribal Chief" Roman Reigns. Still, WWE shouldn't rush to mix the two up and book a match at Hell in a Cell later this month.

Roman Reigns vs. "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship is a money feud but WWE should take their time with it. They made a similar mistake with the feud between Braun Strowman and Wyatt. A tease with a slow-paced long-term storyline with the eventual match on a bigger stage like Royal Rumble or even WrestleMania would be a better alternative.

Last year at Hell in a Cell, The Fiend lost to Seth Rollins in bizarre fashion, leading to a massive fan backlash. The last thing WWE would want to do is repeat that mistake again this year.

#3. Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax vs. The Riott Squad vs. Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke should happen at Hell in a Cell

The WWE Women's Tag Team Champions, Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax were, unfortunately, unable to compete at Clash of Champions last month. The two were scheduled to defend their titles against the team of Ruby Riott and Liv Morgan. A logical decision would be to have the match at Hell in a Cell now, but WWE could add another interesting twist to it.

This past week on Monday Night RAW, Mandy Rose finally made an appearance on the red brand after a trade a few weeks ago. Interestingly, she was paired up with Dana Brooke, and the new team defeated Lana and Natalya. After The IIconics and The Golden Role Models recently split up, WWE needs more teams in its women's tag team division. Rose and Brooke could provide fill that void.

A triple threat match at Hell in a Cell for the Women's Tag Team Championships would help showcase the talent in the division. It will be interesting to see how long Shayna Baszler and Nia Jax can stick together before one of them finally takes out the other.

#2. Seth Rollins vs Murphy should not happen at Hell in a Cell

The storyline featuring the Mysterios and the Monday Night Messiah has taken another interesting turn with the involvement of Rey Mysterio's daughter, Aalyah. WWE has teased a love angle between her and Murphy. There are clear signs that Murphy could turn face and feud with Seth Rollins but WWE shouldn't book a match between them this month at Hell in a Cell.

There needs to be a proper closure to the Mysterio family storyline before WWE goes down the path of the Messiah vs. his disciple, which would surely be an interesting feud. It could help to put Murphy on the map.

#2. Dominik Mysterio vs. Seth Rollins/Murphy should happen at Hell in a Cell

As seen on Monday Night RAW this past week, Dominik Mysterio isn't happy with his sister getting close to Murphy. Seth Rollins is also doing everything to instigate chaos and turn the Mysterios against each other. This could lead to two possibilities; Murphy turns face and joins them or Aalyah turns heel and joins Rollins and Murphy.

At any rate, the better alternative at Hell in a Cell would be a match between Dominik and either Murphy or Seth Rollins. Afterward, he could move forward from this feud while Murphy and Rollins finally began their rivalry.

#1. Bobby Lashley (c) vs Mustafa Ali should not happen at Hell in a Cell

The United States Champion, Bobby Lashley, defeated Apollo Crews at Clash of Champions to retain his title. This past week on Monday Night RAW, Mustafa Ali made a huge impact as he helped the babyfaces defeat The Hurt Business. While WWE might be tempted to book him in a championship match with Lashley at Hell in a Cell, there's a bigger storyline to focus on.

As deserving as Ali is, he will likely end up losing due to interference from The Hurt Business. WWE can hold on to this feud for a while and focus on the storyline between the faction and RETRIBUTION.

#1. RETRIBUTION vs. The Hurt Business should happen at Hell in a Cell

There have been rumors that WWE is planning a RETRIBUTION vs. Team WWE match for Survivor Series 2020. To set that up, WWE should book a match between RETRIBUTION and The Hurt Business at WWE Hell in a Cell. The faction needs to pick up a huge victory to become a serious threat and defeating The Hurt Business could help.

There has been a lot of negative reactions to RETRIBUTION and there is no certainty as to whether they would succeed or fail and disappear quickly. If the company has huge plans for them, their booking needs to be strong.

Be sure to comment down and let us know which of these matches would you like to see at the upcoming pay-per-view.
