5 no holds barred WWE interviews we’re dying to see

There’s nothing better than a good no holds barred interview

Within the world of WWE, a lot of things are kept close to the chest of management and talent alike, which is hardly surprising given the nature of how things operate over there. Despite this, we as fans have been rewarded for our years of dedication with some fascinating interviews over the years with some of the company’s biggest stars.

This includes the likes of Vince McMahon, John Cena, Brock Lesnar and others – but we’re hungry for more. The thing is there are so many interesting figures throughout the roster, and many of them have incredible stories to tell.

You’ll notice as we make our way through that some of these are wildly unrealistic but isn’t that the fun of fantasy booking? We’re going to assume that these desired interviews are universally sought after by fans from every corner of the world but if they aren’t, we’d be interested to hear what other suggestions you guys have. Disclaimer: Golden Truth is not an acceptable answer.

So without further ado, here are five no holds barred WWE interviews that we’re dying to see.

#1 Triple H & CM Punk

Fireworks, fireworks everywhere

The beef between Triple H and CM Punk supposedly goes all the way back to when the Straight Edge Superstar first walked through the doors of WWE in 2006. Whether you believe that or not is up to you, but regardless the two men have supposedly grown a great disdain for one another of the course of the last decade.

Punk talked about a couple of showdowns between himself and The Game, during his appearance on Colt Cabana’s podcast, and we’d love to see a sit-down interview between these two men with Jim Ross as the mediator. It could be similar to the one between Bret and Shawn, but we may need to put some protective glass between these guys.

Dead man walking.

#2 The Undertaker

It’s finally time to tell all

It seems as if the Deadman’s time in the world of professional wrestling has finally come to an end, with the symbolic ending to WrestleMania 33 being as good of a sign as any that he’s going to ride off into the sunset. While that’s pretty devastating to fans around the world, it also opens up a lot of other opportunities for the Phenom.

We'd love nothing more than to hear a two-hour “tell all” podcast/interview, with Taker talking about everything from his debut all the way through to the streak ending. It’d be fascinating to hear him speak off the record, and as long as it’s a one-off, we don’t see any reason why it shouldn’t happen. The fans deserve to hear the truth from Taker’s perspective.

Riddle me, Bliss.

#3 Alexa Bliss

Alexa Bliss is one of WWE’s most fascinating characters

Alexa Bliss is arguably the best female superstar of the new era, with many likening her to Trish Stratus. While that’s a fair comparison, there really is only one Alexa Bliss, and the woman herself has had a pretty interesting background. If you don’t believe us, go and watch the special WWE did on her and her parents on YouTube.

Bliss overcame an eating disorder in her younger days and in addition to that, it’d be fascinating to hear her thoughts on all things WWE. From being made the first two-time SD Live Women’s Champion to how she feels about the Four Horsewomen, we can’t imagine that Alexa would bite her tongue when it comes to the hard-hitting issues.

He hears voices...

#4 Randy Orton

How much venom can the Viper spew?

Over the years Randy Orton has been a lot of things – a World Champion, a Viper, a Legend Killer, and a bit of jerk. When you throw all of those things into one tell-all interview, you’re likely to get some never before heard stories about WWE behind the scenes. Plus, and we can’t stress this enough, Randy hasn’t done something like this in the last five years or so.

Orton has been at the centre of many controversies over the years and getting his opinion on all of them would certainly create some headlines. We could find out why he didn’t end the streak at WrestleMania 21 (one story says he was caught smoking marijuana backstage) whether some of the stories about his younger days were true and how he feels about the fan reaction to his ‘iconic’ rivalry with John Cena.

Buckle up.

#5 Mauro Ranallo & JBL

Who wouldn’t want to see JBL’s chickens come home to roost

In case you’ve been living under a rock, Mauro Ranallo is on the verge of leaving WWE after reportedly being bullied by none other than John “Bradshaw” Layfield. Since the news first broke, neither of them has been forthcoming about the issue, with many fans rallying behind Mauro and beginning a movement to try and get JBL fired.

So why not reveal everything that really happened in the form of an interview? It’s a near impossibility that this would actually happen right now, but give it five years, and both guys might come around and make it happen. Once again we’d choose JR to host the ordeal, as this one could easily get out of hand if Bradshaw is let off his leash.
