This week on RAW after WrestleMania, we were greeted with the familiar sight of Elias standing in the middle of the ring, singing his tunes. And then, all hell broke loose. Lashley returned to the company after years and slammed him on the mat. The WWE Universe was ecstatic.
Lashley is not just a familiar face but like fine wine, he's grown better with him. He's perhaps even better in the ring than he was during his first run with the company. He's certainly a lot more confident on the microphone.
In this article, we will attempt to list five superstars who could go toe to toe with Lashley and colour us all impressed. Let us know what you think of them in the comments section below.

#5 Braun Strowman
If you saw Lashley's recent run in Impact Wrestling, you know that he works exceedingly well with bigger guys like Moose. Strowman is a gentleman who works great with big guys too. The two men could certainly mix it up in the ring. This would be a dream clash in its own right for sure!
Strowman is running out of credible opponents to face in the current roster. Lashley vs. Strowman would be a feud that would be believable and exciting too. The two men could have some very exciting matches.
One of the things that's easy to forget about Lashley is just how strong the man is as a performer. The two Strong Men could perform incredible feats of strength on one another and bedazzle the WWE Universe with their move set.
#4 Elias
Some fans considered it criminal that Elias did not have a match at WrestleMania. Elias is one of the most over superstars in the whole roster and while he was in a memorable segment with John Cena, it's hardly the same thing. This week, we saw Lashley destroy Elias and leave him in a total heap. We're certain there will be retribution from the minstrel.
Will this culminate in a match at Backlash, we wonder. If so, this could be a contest that puts Lashley on the map before he heads on to more established opponents on the roster. However, this does not mean that this won't be an entertaining feud.
Elias has a magnetic personality and the ability to make just about every feud he is in absolutely entertaining. We are certain that great things are in store for fans in the upcoming Elias feud.
#3 Samoa Joe
There's a lot of MMA in Samoa Joe's offensive arsenal. He could go toe to toe with Lashley in a wrestling match and give him the match of his life. This week, he reminded us just how good he is on the microphone and how realistic he can make a feud feel. This is a clash that we would relish watching down the line.
We're certain that if these two men remain on the same brand, we will be treated to this colossal clash. If you thought Godzilla and King Kong only fought in movies, you're in for a surprise.
#2 Roman Reigns
Whether you like him or not, it's impossible to deny that Reigns is the top guy in the company. And the fact of the matter is that he's running out of fresh opponents to feud against. While we're thrilled at the idea of another Lesnar match, we've seen it before.
The same could be said for another Reigns vs. Joe match. These two men are going to clash at Backlash but this is a contest we've seen on various occasions. Lashley is a fresh name and a new opponent for The Big Dog.
Reigns can have a great match with inferior opponents too. He can certainly do so with a competent opponent like Bobby Lashley.
#1 Brock Lesnar
Fans have been so enthused at the thought of a match between Lesnar and Lashley, that they've said they're okay even if they meet inside the octagon instead of the squared circle. The occasion was never right. The day of reckoning will soon draw near as the two forces collide. We are sure it is inevitable.
We found out that Lesnar signed a new contract with WWE recently. While the terms are yet unclear, we're certain that this is a match that will happen down the line someday. If not, it would be criminal.
