The Raw Reunion edition is now a part of the history books. After being hyped up for two straight weeks, the show finally emanated from Tampa, and was a mixed bag, though it was certainly better than the Raw 25th Anniversary episode we saw last year.

WWE went out of its way to bring back a long list of legends and Hall of Famers for the show, and the WWE Universe was expecting at least a couple of Superstar-legend confrontations. The WWE ended up delivering BIG TIME on this one, as we witnessed several legends from the past clashing with current WWE Superstars.

Let's take a look at 5 biggest past vs present confrontations from tonight's Raw Reunion.

#5 Santino Marella and Drew McIntyre

The WWE Universe was clamoring for Santino Marella to somehow get hold of the WWE 24/7 title by tricking R-Truth, but that didn't happen, unfortunately. Truth's belt did get tossed around a lot throughout the night, with several legends getting to keep the same for short periods of time.

A backstage segment saw Marella come in after WWE Hall of Famer Torrie Wilson to a good pop. Marella, of course, had the Cobra with him and stated that 'Santina' is doing well. Suddenly, The Scottish Psychopath Drew McIntyre appeared and berated the duo, scoffing at the fact that they referred to themselves as 'legends'.

Later on in the night, McIntyre decimated Cedric Alexander, while Marella wasn't given another segment. With a huge roster of past Superstars ready to be used for the night, this was bound to happen.

#4 Ted Dibiase and Drake Maverick

Tonight was a crazy ride for Maverick

The 24/7 title, as expected, was the highlight of the special edition and changed hands several times over the course of the night. It began when Maverick beat Truth with help from Renee Michelle. Thus the chaos ensued, with the title being won by the likes of Pat Patterson, Gerald Brisco, Kelly Kelly, Candice Michelle, Alundra Blayze, and Ted Dibiase, who bought off the belt from Blayze.

As Dibiase was about to leave in his limo, a scuffle was hinted at, inside the vehicle, ending with Maverick coming out the victor again in a hilarious bit. Unfortunately for Maverick, Truth tricked him again and fled the spot with not only the title, but his wife too, who was inside the limo that Truth used to escape. After tonight's win, Truth has now become a 10-time WWE 24/7 Champion!

#3 John Cena and The Usos

Cena and The Usos

The Raw Reunion show was kicked off by none other than 16-time World Champion, John Cena. The FF9 star started off with listing down fellow legends who would be appearing later on in the night. Cena added that WWE will always be his home.

Fans might remember WrestleMania 35, where Cena unleashed a scathing rap on Elias after he came down to the ring as the Dr. of Thugonomics. Tonight's show saw The Usos come out to interrupt Cena and convince him to engage in a rap battle against the twins. Cena was hesitant at first, but couldn't hold back after The Usos took a shot at the fact that he left WWE for Hollywood. Cena fired back with referring to The Usos' past run-ins with cops and the law. This was an excellent choice to fire up the crowd for the big show.

#2 Mick Foley and The Fiend

The Hardcore Legend Mick Foley came down to the ring halfway through the show, and the occasion was enough to fill him with nostalgia. Foley revisited his all-time favorite moment from his illustrious career: when he defeated The Rock to win his first WWE title on an episode of Monday Night Raw. The moment was one of the highlights of the Attitude Era and was incredibly well received by the fans at that time.

Foley didn't get to enjoy the moment for long though, as the lights began fading out one after the other, similar to what we saw on last week's Raw. Suddenly, The Fiend appeared out of nowhere and attacked Foley with the move that he once made famous, The Mandible Claw. Wyatt then posed for the camera in an eerie bit, and the show went to commercial with his maniacal laugh being blasted in the arena.

#1 D-Generation X vs The OC

The recently reformed Club got a new name during the show, with AJ Styles, Luke Gallows, and Karl Anderson now referring to the faction as The OC (Original Club). The match pitting Styles and Seth Rollins was interrupted by AJ's lackeys. Almost immediately, DX's music blared over the speakers and out came Triple H and Shawn Michaels.

Soon after, Road Dogg, X-Pac, Scott Hall, and Kevin Nash came out and helped Rollins fend off the villains. The most important thing here was the fact that the returning batch of legends didn't get to unleash a beatdown on The OC, contrary to what we have seen in past reunion episodes. The OC is way bigger than the likes of The Revival or The Ascension and needs to be protected as much as possible.
